You did a wonderful job of turning a beautiful and cherished piece of art into a wearable necklace in the Florida humidity. Italy is more arid and heavier pieces are easier to wear.
That must have been amazing to experience! I have a huge vintage Murano glass collection. I would have traveled there with a carry on and came home with multiple large luggage bags 😂
It feels like the pendant really needed the other beads and colors to make the most of it. The only thing I would have done differently is the color wire; I would have used black wire. Great job.
