Ever noticed how pro musicians make seemingly easy and basic songs sound crisp, groovy and proffessional? This is a prime example of that
yep totally agree. no fog, no noise, no mud, even the fastest notes seam to have space between them somehow, and among several other things, his timing is astonishing - and hitting the mark becomes so much part of the performance - Tommy says his impeccable timing is not at all natural, and he achieves it by practicing every day with a metronome! - so,..... there is a tiny ray of hope for us mere mortals after all;-)
He makes it look easy. That groove is so groovin. And he's got powerband when he needs and then some more powerbands...

Yep. Perfect analysis. Skills come from talent and a lot of discipline and work. So in the end those People become older and better
Skill beyond legendary, but relatively unknown. He's massively recognized in the guitar players community, but in the entirety of music he is WELL underrated
great talent doesn't get on the TV because the Media and TV are so obsessed with so called talent??shows that great music like Tommy doesn't get the exposure. Thank god for You Tube. Singers? who strip off for a stage show is unfortunately what TV AND NEWS?papers plug because that is what they seem to think people want to see. If I was a tv company boss great artists like Tommy would be on at prime time to show the people that GREAT MUSIC is alive and kicking and scrap all these so called talent? shows.

Considered the best acoustic guitar player that's ever lived. Not sure he's relatively unknown. One of 5 Chet Atkins CGP, headlines all over the world to sold out shows, etc. Unfortunately this kind of music won't get radio play, but mention his name to anyone who knows music and 99% will agree he's the GOAT.

Superb performance by Tommy Emmanuel, as usual. Every time I listen to his music is like discovering guitar music again. Thanks! Edition ... getting there (good effort). Cameras need a lot of work ... and experience. A performance of Mr. Emmanuel deserves professional videographers. Keep working filming crew. One day you may be worth of shooting Mr. T.E. Getting the fretboard in crisp clear focus is a must. Many shots are neither here nor there. The handheld camera shots are way off. The "visual flow" of the "from the back" shots is off the golden rule.
I had the weirdest dream..I saved Tommy from dropping into a type of modern canyon... I pulled him up... With help..
I'm glad I'm alive to witness Mr Emmanuel playing guitar.

Geez ... every youtube clip I watch just shows Tommy is getting better. There's no limit to Tommy's talent. You know I really would like to see him pushed by some other players. I know this will just bring out more brilliance. Who can push him?

Can I simply say what a relief to seek out someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know learn how to carry an issue to mild and make it important. More individuals need to learn this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre no more fashionable since you positively have the gift.
