This game, along with many other fighting games, just seems to have the absolute worst qualities of fighting games, primarily the feature of infinite hit combos that one cannot escape from EVER. This game doesn't come down to reading opponents' moves and reacting accordingly, it just comes down to which player can pull of their infinite hit combo first or who can spam the same set of moves the fastest. There's also very little variation in team composition due to the fact that certain characters are leagues better than the others, which makes most of the other characters one can choose from pointless. So I'm just watching 90 percent of the same team compositions go at it and pretty much watching who can land the first punch in their character's infinite hit combo. To me that doesn't take skill or the ability to read an opponent, that just takes an ability to memorize a button sequence. The only redeeming quality of these videos are Max's commentary, which is absolutely hilarious and fun to listen to.
