say what you will about 4kids but for a lot of people, this was their first exposure to anime in the west, yes in hindsight it's laughable, but when you think about it, they walked so anime could run. i consider them an overall net positive for the medium, if it were not for their dubs of this, yugioh or pokemon i and many others would've never bothered going deeper to find the good stuff.

I would've loved to see his relationship with everyone's favourite iceberg laboon, and the wholesome slumber party of the rumbar pirates with a musical of "binks apple juice"

Would the two gaping holes Alainu gave Whitebeard be soot marks? Would Oden be standing in giant bowl of orange juice instead of boiling oil that is only bubbling cause of his flatulence? Hell would the gun that that Kaido used to kill Oden be that same hammer gun that Helmeppo had and he'd have to run towards Oden with it like a jackass just to hit him with? The possibilities are endless.
