I watched first a short showing what overdancing look like and someone said yeonjun dancing to wadada. So I watched this and cannot see the difference hahaha
He wasn’t over dancing but DANCING. Y’all all just love to judge others. He has very powerful movements so he is just DANCING and freestyling the the parts he doesn’t know. That’s just how he dances and it was his first time dancing to a girl group dance too. And I don’t see y’all saying girl groups are under axing or making it fending when it comes to boy group dances? Or is it the double standard? Stop judging others. I’m literally a pro dancer and know yeonjuns style and he wasn’t overdancing but DANCING with this own style. Y’all clearly didn’t watch the whole live. Stop judging him, he is one of the best 4th gens dancers out there.
@@travel1370 holy shit they didn't say yeonjun was bad at dancing. overdancing means too much energy. basically means yeonjun is very energetic and passionate and he's a good dancer, but too much energy is kinda weird. it's his first time dancing to gg and it's great he's passionate about the dance

Some people may be saying it as a good thing but from the way this person phrased the sentence they are CLEARLY saying it as a bad thing. There’s people genuinely judging and hating on yeonjun so I’m not exactly surprised if this person is one of those people. There’s a difference between over dancing and just having powerful movements. Like you said this was his first girl group dance but that doesn’t mean he has to change his whole style for it. Over dancing can look fine but often it looks messy. When people say his over dancing it means they are saying he looks messy. He doesn’t look messy and it doesn’t look weird. He is literally just dancing in his style which is POWERFUL SHARP MOVEMENTS. You don’t exactly know this persons intentions for u to say they are saying it as a good thing because it doesn’t seem that way and since they didn’t reply to me I’ll take it as not a good thing. Like I said as a dancer when we are dancing in a powerful style and hear “ over dancing” it’s not nice. These people don’t know yeonjun, his style, anything about dance or the context of this video in general and think they have a right to judge. But in my opinion, he kind of does give some stiff moves no offense :) He does have powerful moves so I do agree with you, however it does not suit the dance and if you compare to huening kai's cover, it looks more softer which is the style of the song. Those movements were not stiff but powerful. And your comparing two different people. Kai’s style has always been different to yeonjuns so you can’t compare. This was his first time dancing to a girl group dance, he didn’t know the full dance so had to freestyle on some parts. He is used to his usual way of dancing and the boy group style so he did it in his own way. Which is powerful and sharp movements. And yea it may not suit the dance like Kai did but their styles are different and he is a man that doesn’t have to change his style to make it more feminine. He danced to a girl group for pretty much the first time and his typical style is powerful movements so that’s exactly what he did. Whether it suits the dance or not that is HIS STYLE. So no he wasn’t over dancing or stiff. He was dancing in his usual style and powerful. He doesn’t have to change up his style for the first time just for y’all to be satisfied with his girl group dance when this was for fun cause fans asked. I don’t see y’all saying girl groups under dance or make it feminine when they dance to boy group? Or is it the double standard. Kai is not yeonjun, both have different styles.
