I agree! I was enjoying the looks on the faces the most. I've been watching shows since the 60's. I hate the trend today. That cold, angry look they've got and the stomp walk. I think it doesn't flatter the clothes at all and certainly doesn't make the models appear to enjoy wearing them. Everyone who hasn't should look back at the past shows to see the difference.
*The casting for this fashion show was genius!!!* The representation of the every-day-person lends to the idea that any of us can wear the clothes the models are wearing - and look good in them! EVERY single piece of clothing, boots, shoes, bags, and accessories in this show could be worn on the street - not just the runway. Good job Ralph Lauren!!

Ralph Lauren must be among the world's wealthiest men. He's the American counterpart to Giorgio Armani. Props to the casting team for using some older models and diversity. I also couldn't help but spot Diane Keaton in the audience.
....Diane was having the most fun......Ralph should have asked her to walk for him...she always wears the most stylish outfits...i could just see her with 2 very attractive men flanking her as she gamboled down the catwalk....Ralph is just a great symbol of Americana....God bless him...he never disappoints....great wearable style...
This collection has plenty of life! Kids, 'families', 'couples', 'friends', how beautiful to watch!! Gorgeous models,best walk, so calm relaxed. Clothes for all generations, not to even mention how beautiful they are. No apocalyptic or depressed moods, beautiful view.
Love this so much! Recognized a few celebs having a good time - Diane Keeton and Jessica Chastain front and center. It was awesome to see adult models of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. Loved the kids too. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Refreshing that the models were relaxed and smiling. My fave was the 1st and 2nd collection. Only Ralph Lauren can do Western Americana and camel neutrals this well. Kudos to all the stylists and designers for this show, make up artists and hair stylists for keeping it fresh and real. Even the venue was a perfect set up for the runways and audience. Everyone got a front row seat. Good to see an audience that wasn't exclusively sullen faced 21 year olds. Definitely top 5 shows of all time!

What a joy it was to see models with easy, relaxed walk , men that looked like men and women like women instead of androgynous aliens with blank faces and grace of flamingos on stilts.
I've been watching show's since the 60's! This was a wonderful flash from the past. It shows off the clothes so much better! everyone should take a look at past shows, (even early '90s), if they've never seen them and you'd see much better than today.
I sense mix of ‘40s and 30’s vibe mixed with modern approach. Really loved the western look at the beginning with some older guys. The very classic well dressed guys later. Hippy days. There were some gorgeous clothes.
....yes....they all walked the more expensive outfits beautifully....great posture ....long strides with very controlled hips....nice squared shoulders....softly erect necks....just excellent deportment ....really professional models....not just pretty faces....

It totally got me when the kids came out. The inclusion of all kinds of body shapes, age, sex, and race for the models. Location was great and the choreography was at a good pace and the models looked like they were having fun. When I thrift and find Ralph Lauren tag, I know I have picked up a major essential item and finger cross that I can fit it because it will become a forever piece in my closet.
