Ajax fans were great last night.what European nights are about. Thankfully they didnt wreck the city or fight with people not interested in trouble. Liverpool were the better side and deserved the win! Its a tough group, winning this was vital for us. Also Liverpool fans have no interest in royalty or being Britih. They respected the silence apart from 1 or 2 people. No doubt press will make a big deal out of this as you did

that isn't true, last night was a decent efoort from the home fans. The atmosphere at English grounds is pretty poor the last 20 years. high ticket prices and older season ticket holders populating the grounds ,doesnt help! Anfield is still a special place and as louder than most. The away fans always make a noise at Anfield, its their big day out. Until young local people are given access at affordable prices, atmospheres will continue to suffer in England.
