It's always that pesky start of a project that makes you think, "I'm never going to be able to do this" But, with your instruction and encouragement, at least I'm willing to continue stitching until it makes sense to me. Thanks, Stephanie, for sharing some clever tricks for adding a toggle clasp, and this beautiful bracelet with us.
I agree, it is a pesky start and very annoying! Keep those holes upright and you'll be golden. Even if they twist around, untwist them and push them in to place LOL 😀🤣💗
One of my favorite 2-hole beads, one of my favorite designers, and one of my favorite stitches. It doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you, Stephanie, for such a fun and beautiful technique!
Bless your sweet heart for this video!!!! I have always had trouble understanding other videos trying to teach this stitch. Now I’m ready to make this bracelet! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This almost persuades me to buy superduos. Almost. Very pretty bracelet! Thank you for doing the beginner videos; we all need to learn those basic stitches somewhere, and you are one of the best beading teachers I have found! So thank you again!
This has long been one of my favorite "comfort" projects - when I want something with a lot of impact but doesn't require a lot of brain-power. As you've pointed out, the start is the trickiest part, so if you're going to make more than two of these, I'd recommend making a starter - a strip that's the widest you'd ever make and 4 to 5 rows high, and then starting with a throwaway thread that can be pulled out once the first few rows are finished. Saves a lot of time, and more importantly, a lot of stress. And the neat thing about this pattern? You can combine superduos with half and quarter tilas with two-holed lentils or with two-holed brick - basically any two-holed bead where the hole spacing matches. The combination creates such interesting textures.
Do you mean making a starter piece like people do with the Peyote Stitch so there's something to hold on to so the consistency in thread tension would be equal then the first floppy cup of rows for some ppl?
Love this Steph. I've done it with half tila beads and figured I could with superduos but my brain wouldn't be able to figure it out with a different bead. Lol. So thank you for making it even easier for me by showing me. Jaja. Can't wait to get out all the duo's and make it since I went kinda crazy buying a bunch on superduo and tila tubes. Another great one. Always are.
Sooo, so pretty! I just finished one of your creations from the painted tiles bracelet and earrings for a friend's Birthday coming up...you're my absolute favorite when it comes to bead work!!! Thank you!
I just might have to dig out some beads for this one (& find some time 😉😉). I have this pattern printed off & have tried it multiple times only to get frustrated & give up. I know I will be able to do it with your awesome instructions!! Thanks Stephanie!!
Stephanie thanks so much for this video! The beginning was tough but, I kept on persisting and I love it! Your video's are wonderful. I get so many compliments on your patterns!!
A pretty way to use up some superduos! Maybe lots of left over colors... (I'm into rainbows lately) LOL. Thank you Stephanie for another great tutorial!
I appreciate your time and adding some easier things for beginners. I'm hoping to try my hand at beading soon. I know it will be addictive and need to get so many projects finished before starting something new, especially a whole new hobby haha
This is beautiful. Would you be able to design this using Gem Duos please ? I have so many and I’d like to use them for this bracelet. Pretty please 😁😬
Thank you Stephanie! This is beautiful and like many of your beaders I have many superduos and don’t use them enough. I appreciate you sharing your talent with us. BTW - what ring are you wearing in this video?
Ohhhhh the rolo chain idea is going to be a game changer for me! That is going to help this newbie solve the problem of bracelets not being large enough. Yay Stephanie! One question, can you tell me how many duos in herringbone make an inch of stripe? Thank you with love from Kentucky! 💕
I love it Stephanie! It looks so leafy to me. 🍃🍂 I can't wait to give it a go. I suppose one could use any type of double clasp or even a button? Thank you! 💜🌻🧵🪡
Thank you Cindy! A cup button would work great or any button. Any clasp will work. A tube bar with he loops facing sideways would be great too. My pleasure to share this stitch with you 🌻
This is so pretty with the Superduos! I guess it’s not really possible to add in embellishments in this one, is it? (Like in the one with the 8/0 beads) Thank you for sharing!! 💜
Thank you Sharon. I don't think adding beads will work but Lita (a viewer) adds different shaped beads to the same piece. So any two hole bead where the holes one up! How cool is that?
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry thank YOU! I was a little embarrassed because I know it’s not much and I’ve spent hours watching and rewatching your videos. But I only noticed the button after seeing someone else’s highlighted comment, so just hoping to encourage someone else to do the same 🥰. The value we get from your videos is really priceless 🌹.
this classical stitch in your hands became a new one, tks dear Stephanie, love u 💜💜💜
Thank you 🙏 🥰💗

It looks hard in the beginning, hope you finish this project :)
Stephanie makes everything easy and fun. Best bead videos on UA-cam!

I love your choice of colors with all your projects!

Yay!!! you can do this. Jus take your time in the beginning and twist those beads back if they go in the wrong direction LOL 🤣
I love Super Duo Herringbone. It’s so easy once you get started. It’s one of those stitches that looks complicated but feels natural in your hand.
I totally agree!
My piece is coming along so beautifully, thanks to you Stephany. Thank you for your great videos.
You are so welcome!
Wow! After those first couple rows it's so fast and fun! Thank you!
I love that you’re using these duos- I have so many I need to use!❤️
So do I!!!!
Great! i love SuperDuos and try to use them often!
Me too!

What do you mean by making a starter and a pull away thread? I’m guessing this is a trick for more advanced beaders?
Do you mean making a starter piece like people do with the Peyote Stitch so there's something to hold on to so the consistency in thread tension would be equal then the first floppy cup of rows for some ppl?
😍Love your work love your voice I really love you 😘

LOVE this, not difficult once you get going & take that leap of Faith. Thank you lovely Stephanie.

Thank you Kimmie! Approximately 45-48 SD's per inch. I also added amounts per stripe to the description box under the video.

Thank you for sharing. Could you tell me if it is okay to use Miyuki seed beads?
You're welcome! Miyuki seed beads? Yes!
This one in tilas had me re-starting three times.

PS. I really want to make the tila driftwood bracelet but I don't have that ending. Is there anyway you can show us how to finish it off without it?
You can use cup buttons, 8mm crystals, or regular buttons, and add them like this bracelet.ua-cam.com/video/Fe_H7rE02Ww/v-deo.html
Hermosos brazaletes. Siempre se destaca. Bendiciones. 💯🥳👏👏🤩😍🙏
