I minimized my spending 2 years ago. Wholly COW what a difference in my bank account! I had no idea I spent so much on crap I didn't need or really even want.
See: My everyday life :-D I walk a lot, go to the park, and realize how much people go to bars or restaurants for fun and social life. I guess technically I spend a lot of time reading, listening to permaculture lectures, or drinking tea and those are not zero cost but neither is being alive because eventually you have to fuel and hydrate and nothing is free in America financially... I guess even in the Amazon some government owns the right to the country and thus it isn't free in the market economy either just extremely low cost to indigenous dwellers
I just did a year sober. That was a challenge. I think people really misunderstand their own relationship with alcohol, and they say "it's not like I have a problem. I'm not an alcoholic. I still have a job and a family, so I don't need to quit. I just have a couple drinks now and then." Well, then quit for a month. "I don't want to." Why? "It's what I do to relax." Can you relax without it? Or is it a crutch? Can you meet your evening anxiety face to face and go to bed with a clear mind? Alcohol is a drug and not a healthy one. People that aren't abusing alcohol can still be self-medicating. Sobriety shouldn't be scary to anyone, but I've found a lot of people that will fight pretty hard not to go down that road.
Congrats on your sober year! I decided to go sober at the beginning of this year too. It wasn't really something I thought about beforehand, I just wanted to stop one day, so I did... and over the past year it's really become apparent to me how much of my life revolved around it. Like after a stressful week I think about how badly I want to go home and get drunk or high and watch cartoons haha and I've had to force myself to find other healthier ways to unwind. I genuinely don't see myself introducing either alcohol or weed back into my life though, I think I've gained a lot from being sober, my relationship with myself and my mental health has definitely improved too because I haven't had any way to run away from whatever I'm dealing with.
Stopping drinking is a big eye opener to how toxic we are as a culture with our relationship with alcohol. I used to miss drinking monthly-ish but these days (6 years into no drinking) it’s more like 3 times a year that I miss it.
Much Love! I am one of the many who found you after you did your no sugar for a month video.I enjoyed it so much I went back and quickly became a die-hard be your lover, watching back years and years into the wheezywaiter catalog. Time stamps to the outcomes: Edited: I am removing the summary and just keeping the timestamps to the parts of the video where he talks about the outcomes of his various experiments. As pointed out in the replies to my comment, the summary I posted might make some people not watch the video, to which the creators have put in a lot of effort. 1) Quit Sugar (1:35) 2) Quit Internet (2:58) 3) Going Vegan (4:21) 4) Getting up super early (5:30) 5) Good Posture (6:39) 6) Meditation (7:02) 7) Intermittent Fasting (7:48) 8) 10,000 steps a day (9:00) 9) Zero waste (9:32) 10) Sleep Posture (9:58)
@Thunder Rhododendron Good point. Thanks for pointing it out. I posted to serve people like me who had to wait through the whole video to find the outcome of specific experiments. So, I think I can still keep the time stamps but remove the summary so that people can watch his video instead and not just read my summary.
@Thunder Rhododendron I would be skipping through the video finding what I want or not watching it at all. People who want to watch the video will, people who will skip through it will.
What about learning to play a new instrument for a month for an hour or 2 a day? Or a new language, or even practice something you already know how to do, but learn to do it way better (or not)? Maybe doing a sort of Thanksgiving every day for a month. Set aside 10 minutes a day to talk with Chyna about what you guys are thankful for?
cerealkillr12 I suggested the same thing for learning a new language just now (didn’t see you already suggested it, ma bad). Love the idea for learning an instrument!
There's actually like a few things have been proven to increase your average happiness and one of them is writing down things you're grateful for! I can't remember the rest, I'm going to look through my notes but it would be cool to see him do those things for a month and see if he does really feel happier
Instead of making a gourmet meal every night, why not try a new cooking technique every night? (Braising, roasting, stir frying, poaching, etc.) In the long run it will be a lot more useful and you’ll still get good food out of it.
yea those ideas are great, one fancy meal at the end of the week using the techniques he learned! and bonus the harder he works, the more delicious and rewarding it will be :P
Maybe you should do it, record it, and make a video on it and tag WW. I bet we'd all like to see such a huge life-overhaul, especially for someone who hasn't done it before. That'd be some challenge!
Meal planning is LEGIT! I went from spending $550+/month on groceries and eatting out, to roughly $280/month on groceries (we cut out restaraunts and fast food because they're so dang expensive). Im paying off debt, so this was AMAZING for me!
Agreed! When I got serious about budgeting and paying down debt, I was SHOCKED at how much I spent monthly on dining out and happy hours. By nearly eliminating going out for dinners and drinks, I save a significant amount of money each month. That could also be an idea for a challenge: Find ways to cut back spending and save...say $500 in 30 days.
No added sugar is the first video I saw for you and I actually did a challenge myself. And now I am more aware of sugar in my food. So thank you for that.
What if for your next series of mini documentaries, you talked to people from different professions to learn more about that area of expertise/what work is like for them/learn about what people around us spend their time doing? Farmers, nurses, teachers, etc. That would be super cool, and I would most definitely watch them! EDIT: For meal planning, prep ingredients, not meals. It sets you up for success much better.
Hey Craig, try doing the 'Open Source Challenge' for 30 days. Open source is all about taking control of the technology you use, protecting your data and using more ethical software. It's basically the tech version of going vegan. I'd love to hear your and Chyna's thoughts after trying it for a month.
Only go to new places for a month (except for basics like grocery, gas, doctor's, etc)? Or read a book a week for a month? New games (board games, video games, cooperative games)? No shopping except for the essentials? Challenges to improve one's self can be relaxing too, doesn't have to be all health based. :)
Idk about Craig specifically but I pretty much don't go out besides the basics like grocery, doctor's etc. So a better one for people who don't go out would be to visit a new place every week/ weekend.
I did no coffee for 2 years. My energy was more consistent, I was WAAAAY less anxious, I slept better, and I was less cranky. But I was hungrier, markedly less productive, and gained about 15 pounds. I'm now drinking decaf only, and I limit my intake to no more than 3 mugs a day.
Actually I'm going through this right now. I think it's adrenal fatigue. Haven't seen a doctor about it but I heard about it so I researched it, quit coffee and now when I drink it I get so tired.
I’ve really enjoyed this series and I’m equally in love with Chyna’s reactions to the series. It’s great to challenge yourself and become more aware of your choices, and it’s also okay if those things don’t stick or change your life in a huge way. It’s a nice reminder. I feel like it takes the pressure off. Thanks guys.
I always want to do those kinds of challenges. I don't watch very much of these videos, but I did watch all of yours because I like your personality and I love how you're not perfect with the execution of the challenges. I'm going to try this for 2020. Spent all of 2019 depressed so I'm going to start with 'brushing my teeth for 30 days straight', 'showering for 30 days straight' and 'eating three meals a day for 30 days straight'. The rest of it can come later.
I've just got to say your video in intermittent fasting gave me a new perspective on the whole thing. I used to think it was some weird paleo mega weight loss crazy person trend but you made it seem much less so. So I looked up some science behind it and deecided to try. And oh my god it has helped my mental health so much! I did not think it would do anything except make med lose some weight and maybe make me feel less drowzy, but my mental state has drastically improved. I don't even care if I've lost any weight or not, the benefits to my mental healt has more than made it all worth it. Thank you so much Wheezy for showing me this life changing thing. 8 weeks strong, no going back. INTERMITTENT FASTING 4 LYFE
I rarely watch UA-cam anymore, really. I've just noticed that I have been subscribed to you since 2010 and watched almost all your videos since then. I was at the end of primary school back then, now I'm graduating college. Just a quick thanks for always making really high quality content that I've found both funny and educational. You've awoken so many interests for me and always gave me a good chuckle. It was great seeing you evolve as a person, all while all your stages somehow fitted to me growing up. Here's to ten years of that, I guess! And ten more for the upcoming decade. :) Sending you lots of love from Croatia.
Just comes to show that self improvement is a life time commitment. Thank you for your wonderful videos and touching on the importance of checking your sources!
I have a tip regarding fixing the time machine. You should just decide to fix it later and then (after fixing it) go back in time to this moment and leave the fixed machine. And it won’t be a problem leaving the machine since you now left the repaired machine already so you don’t need to fix it! Problem solved!
surely you don't just have your future self drop it off and then just stay in their past as your double! They bring it and then you drop them back off in your future, keeping the machine and bringing it back to now, right?
Loved the video, but a VPN won't necessarily protect your computer from security threats on a public wifi network. Be skeptical about the advertiser briefing and check the sources too 😉
There was a big hoo-ha recently as one of Nord's servers (or a server that had access to it) was hacked, potentially causing problems for people that use Nord. A lot of tech UA-camrs dropped Nord as a sponsor due to the way they handled it (not because of the actual hacking).
I’m a newer subscriber and I feel like seeing you go through the challenges have made me a better person as they make me think about what I should be doing in my own life. Very excited for the upcoming year. Hope your holidays are good.
I absolutely love that if you guys don't feel like doing these challenges, you just don't. It's so refreshing to see people going with the flow rather than sticking to a strict regimine that isn't working!
Play boardgames every night... Go rock climing every day... Do GTD every day... Use a standing desk every day... Pee sitting down... Use your left hand for everything...
@@nezalok270 plus you don't have to clean around the toilet as much because of spattering. Men should only pee standing up when they clean and have their own toilet, use an urinoir or are outside.
I super love all of these challenges to make your life better. especially the meditation one. I'm a martial artist and my teacher says you should meditate for 15 min a day and if you don't have time for that you should meditate for 30 min a day. we spend a lot of time meditating and one of my favorite ways is the 108 belly breaths. you breathe in through the nose extending the belly (not the chest) then out through the nose sucking the belly in. do this 108 times. it is good for oxygenating your blood.
Hmm, challenge ideas: Keep a journal every day for a month. Write down your thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, or just a list of stuff you’re grateful for. I’ve found it’s a great companion to meditation. Try a skincare routine for a month (unless you have one already! Then do hard mode and try a Korean skincare routine). Try yoga every day for a month. Or jogging. Try to read a book a day every day for a month.
Kathryn Powell Far to easy. You can plan ahead and 4 weeks are easy to bridge then. It starts to get challenging from the third month onwards, food or repairs are excluded. I tried it once, eye-opening...
TheWisestWizards I’ve been working on my posture for such a long time that I’ve found that when I’m walking around I have much better posture without even thinking about it. Sitting is still meh, but working on it can help with longer term improvement.
Hey mate, The first video of yours I watched was the quitting sugar video and I've watched every one since. I love the light humor in the videos, its right in my zone. Additionally, I appreciate the candid/honest feedback about the various challenges you have completed and look forward to many more. However my favorite aspect of your videos the the large amount of introspection and self reflection you manage to cram into each video. This particular one was reflection on reflection which (is very meta) I find can be very valuable for long term planning and life goals. I hope you continue to check back on your past self to see how much you've changed and reevaluate your past thoughts as I found this video very insightful and thought provoking. Thanks for all the content, Ryan
Very cool retrospective! I’m thinking about the no alcohol challenge as well. Here’s a challenge for you: not ordering anything online for a month. Cheers :)
Idea for Chyna for the no coffee video: drink decaf. It doesn't work for everybody, but if you like the taste of coffee, you might be able to "fool" your brain into "thinking" you're still drinking regular. It worked for me.
I recently discovered that I have a sensitivity to caffeine. I can drink a cup of caffeinated tea but a cup of caffeinated coffee will make me jittery and even trigger my heart palpitations... but I do like coffee so I only drink decaf now. I never understood those people that only drink it for the buzz, I only ever drink coffee for the taste.
I really want to go on more walks. I just went from a physically demanding job to a sedentary one. But I’m a petite young woman so walking alone in the early morning or evening (especially in the dark winter months) can be anxiety inducing. :(
MasterGhostf I strength train at a gym in the next town over, but there’s no track. I’m in a rural area so everything is far apart so it’s harder to just swing by the gym and walk on a treadmill or something before work in the AM. Our one gym in town is more CrossFit so they don’t have any bikes or treadmills. (And the membership is +$$$)
@Becoming Godsize durh Sherlock. That is pretty obvious. I've seen others claim that it is more then just a caloric deficit but i don't know of that part is true. Nonetheless it has worked for me as well. IF makes it a lot easier for me then just trying to restrict intake because the windows are well defined and i don't get as hungry anymore like i used to.
@Becoming Godsize i am weak minded, that is why i do intermittent fasting so i don't overeat and don't eat outside my window. I don't eat 8 hours straight i just eat lunch and a small snack for dinner, then i drink tea and water. intermittent fasting helps me eat less which causes me to lose weight. not sure why that makes me a fool, i do have issues with self-control. but a fool? Have a merry christmas
@Becoming Godsize your answer amounts to "just change" or "just don't overeat" which is a pretty stupid answer, if it was that easy i wouldn't have a problem to begin with. This is 100% a "me" issue and i know that, IF helps me change my eating habits and improve my self control which is why i can recommend it. But i believe you're just trolling at this point so i'm out. Have a good day.
@Becoming Godsize Because telling someone to just "change" is a non answer, that is like telling a depressed person to stop being depressed. Change is the solution, but change has to come from somewhere, and saying that IF does not help you lose weight is just false. It helped me to introduce change and that change lead to weight loss. It might not work for everyone but i don't really care about everyone, if it helps you. Great. If not, to bad. I then hope you then find another way to change behaviors.
List of my reactions to your video: 1. I don't actually enjoy the interviews you do. I mean, I enjoy hearing about the results, but for some reason, I don't actually enjoy watching the actual interview. I wonder if it's just me. 2. I like the shirt you were wearing in this video. 3. Controversy and hate are bed buddies. I wish it weren't true. 4. I'm actually pretty neutral about the beard size issue. Both looks are viable, I think. 5. I found this recap more insightful in some ways than the original videos. Although you said so at the time, I hadn't realised just how much you valued the meditation for example.
Journaling for a month! There are all kinds of journaling that you can do, such as gratitude journaling, bullet journaling, mood tracking, using a planner (I count it as a form of journaling), having one writing prompt a day (whether introspective or creative), stream of consciousness writing, dream journaling (writing down the dreams you had that night while you slept), having a good ol' fashioned diary, etc. Definitely look into bullet journaling as it can encompass all of the above ideas and more, if you so want. Could also try learning one new thing (especiialy a skill) a month, like languages, instruments, sports, crafts, art styles, hobbies, fixing things, about other religions/cultures, etc. Or, just a new language a month and/or a new instrument a month.
IDEAS: 1. Yoga (or a new workout class every day with class pass) 2. Keto/paleo 3. Some kind of budgeting/finance video 4. Wear new outfits / style 5. Drinking enough water everyday 6. Raw vegan 7. Take some kind of class everyday for a month and see how good you can get (ex. A dance class, archery, etc.) 8. 100 burpees every day or some other fitness challenge (p90x etc ) PS: Love your videos and humor! They are so entertaining! Also love that you present all the facts and not just one side, and are honest about your findings!
Laughing every day for a month - maybe watch a funny movie, comedy television show, read comic strips, do laughing yoga, go to comedy clubs or to comedy shows or watch them on television, find out how to make yourself laugh - whatever it takes, laugh good and hard many times a day, see how it affects your health - physical and mental.
Watching the bit about good posture and husband is listening from the other side of the room. “Did they try out good pasta for a month, that sounds like fun”
Hey Craig, can you add giving up flying as one of your challenges for next year? Either for the whole year (and do check in videos) or for some shorter time frame that would make sense to you guys while still being a challenge. This is assuming that you even fly much, which I don't even know if you do! It would just be really interesting to hear your personal thoughts + research/interviews on the topic. Thanks! Merry Christmas! / Happy Holidays :D
Loved the recap, Loved some of the challenges too. Your researched information helped me to try some or solidify my resolve and commitment, sort of. I am doing these: -Intermittent fasting (not really strict and no real diet control, just eat what I want between 11am until like 7-8pm) -10k steps a day (work requires me to move more so it is easier. Some days I just sloth but it definitely feels good walking more, Lost a little weight) -Meditation (off and on, doing guided ones so far, that motivates me to come back for another, should do it more regularly. Still waiting for more good results, so far it just helps me fall asleep better when I meditate before bed.)
Hey Craig, I've started watching your videos waaayyy back in the day but for some unknown reason I kinda stopped. Now that I rediscovered you I am so glad to see that you have a nice family ,a baby and your content has evolved in such an amazing way! Just in case you read this, thank you man! Best wishes to you and your family! :D A friend from Greece.
NordVPN was hacked. They have not been forthcoming about the indecent. Not a criticism of WheezyWaiter. Do your research before selecting a VPN. They are not all good, they are not all bad. Sorry if this offends you. Peace and love.
They were hacked but no damage was able to come from it because there weren't any logs for the jackets to get information from and because of it Nord has decided to host their own servers as that was the gap the hackers usef
@@AdolfHitler-pm3lc My concern isn't what their marketing team had to say about it, but the fact it was happening for nearly a year before they found the breach. They also took months to make news of the breach public. I'm glad they are taking steps to prevent further intrusions. In my opinion they didn't handle it very well. Just curious, are you still in Argentina?
@@Danny_from_the_beer_store They waited to make it public because they were checking if they had other weaknesses in other parts of the servers or something along those lines, which is a much better route to go as opposed to just announcing to the world "Hey everybody did you know we are currently extremely hackable right now" And yeah Argentina is pretty good
I love your old stuff, but I found you through your newer videos some time this year. So no shame for the old stuff which is still hilarious and enjoyable. Yay for the new stuff too. You have been awesome and you still are awesome!
such a good recap, I've actually done quite a lot of these myself, but definitely some of them not as long or not quite as consistently, but i agree with how good they felt, and the good snowball effect even when i was less diligent afterwards! my next ones I want to do is definitely the walking and meditating, so now, time to catch those videos :P
- Wheezy: "I ate 70g of fibre" - The entire world outside of USA: so what? - USA: YOU DID WHAAAAA???!!! - Metric Society of USA: apologises on behalf of countrymen who think "grams" is French for "pounds".
I’ve loved the challenge videos series. It seems like I share a lot of your values, so your and Chyna’s insights on the different aspects of each challenge have been really interesting. Thanks for trying all the things I’m too lazy to commit to!
It’s kind of a shame. There are hundreds (as he himself pointed out) of channels doing this lifestyle stuff, but nobody really does what he used to do. It’s a shame. I wonder if it’s purely his choice or if the almighty algorithm has killed that type of content. I remember watching every single video on this channel as it came out. Charlieissocoollike (who has seemingly completely vanished) too. Good memories.
He said he felt a little bored and unsatisfied with the same format for so long, and wanted to try something new. I really loved his comedy style but I don't think it's totally gone, so as long as he's creatively fulfilled :D the archives will still always be there
I got bored with his old stuff and unsubscribed, as much as I like Wheezy I was just never clicking his videos anymore. Then I rediscovered his channel a few months ago and I love his new stuff, his unique humour shines through and I find he's way more down to earth than most people who Tries Thing For A Month. What I'm trying to say is there are people on both camps, and as long as Wheezy does what makes him feel fulfilled and happy that's what he should do.
Inspired by your NO internet challenge, I'm doing mostly no internet or gmaing on weekdays. I get to choose what i catch up on on the weekends. It's been only a few weeks but it has been amazing for boosting my creativity, productivity, and social life.
I really do like what you've done with the channel recently, it's nice to see that you've focused your channel. Interested in seeing what you come up with next year, but I definitely think adding interviews wherever possible is a great idea!
I am with your wife.... no coffee for a month?! 😱😱 As a coffee-a-holic, I look forward to that video to see what y'all learn and see your excellent humor clips in transitions.
Hey Craig, you said you'd do the body building challenge in 2020! Don't start trying to back out now. Gym memberships will be cheap too. Don't avoid it!
@@Seanonyoutube It would be interesting to do a year-long challenge as well. If he did a year of body building and you could see the before and after, that could be very motivational and impactful.
Iva Čukić agreed. While these month long challenges are certainly entertaining, I’m afraid they might be sending the wrong message to their audience-that these are short term activities to be pursued in short sprints and one should expect results immediately or discard said activity as ineffective...
@@Seanonyoutube If anyone expects anything unreasonable for themselves after watching these videos, they shouldn't be on the internet in the first place. These 1 month challenge reviews simply document a random guy's story as he tries something new, and things that he has observed accordingly.
Cheers to you Craig and your sometimes unwilling participant! It was a great year for beard lovers the world over, here's to more the same (but different) in 2020!
Try the “Centr.” App for a week, try the “FlyLady” method for a week, try the “WMF” Wim hoff method for a week (those all are free for my understanding). You could also connect to @Rawbeatykirsti you seem to have similar humor and it could be a awesome collab... or really awkward.

Same!
Another challenge idea: No unneeded spending for a month. You can only spend money on necessities. You need to find ways to have fun for free.
That wud be crazy too cuz toilet paper is considered a "luxury" too and not a necessity lol.
I minimized my spending 2 years ago. Wholly COW what a difference in my bank account! I had no idea I spent so much on crap I didn't need or really even want.

I just did a year sober. That was a challenge. I think people really misunderstand their own relationship with alcohol, and they say "it's not like I have a problem. I'm not an alcoholic. I still have a job and a family, so I don't need to quit. I just have a couple drinks now and then."
Well, then quit for a month.
"I don't want to."
Why?
"It's what I do to relax."
Can you relax without it? Or is it a crutch? Can you meet your evening anxiety face to face and go to bed with a clear mind? Alcohol is a drug and not a healthy one. People that aren't abusing alcohol can still be self-medicating. Sobriety shouldn't be scary to anyone, but I've found a lot of people that will fight pretty hard not to go down that road.

Time stamps to the outcomes:
Edited: I am removing the summary and just keeping the timestamps to the parts of the video where he talks about the outcomes of his various experiments.

1) Quit Sugar (1:35)
2) Quit Internet (2:58)
3) Going Vegan (4:21)
4) Getting up super early (5:30)
5) Good Posture (6:39)
6) Meditation (7:02)
7) Intermittent Fasting (7:48)
8) 10,000 steps a day (9:00)
9) Zero waste (9:32)

This is gold
@Thunder Rhododendron Good point. Thanks for pointing it out. I posted to serve people like me who had to wait through the whole video to find the outcome of specific experiments.

yea those ideas are great, one fancy meal at the end of the week using the techniques he learned! and bonus the harder he works, the more delicious and rewarding it will be :P
Are there 30+ different cooking techniques? I thought there was like 10...

I mean, you’re cool anyway. More like:
Do it! And, you’re cool!
Maybe you should do it, record it, and make a video on it and tag WW. I bet we'd all like to see such a huge life-overhaul, especially for someone who hasn't done it before. That'd be some challenge!
This is probably what Buddhist monks do every day
Meal planning is LEGIT!
Fasting, meditation, and walking have all worked for me too. Thanks for doing these Craig.

What if for your next series of mini documentaries, you talked to people from different professions to learn more about that area of expertise/what work is like for them/learn about what people around us spend their time doing? Farmers, nurses, teachers, etc. That would be super cool, and I would most definitely watch them!

I've too noticed I'm so much more hungry the last few weeks, maybe that's why 🤗
Interesting side affects.
Oh my gosh. I asked a question and it got an entire list of its own. I've finally made it in life.
🥇 Congrats!
I gave up coffee in October and switched to green tea. The biggest thing I notice is I feel way less tired, believe it or not.
Actually I'm going through this right now. I think it's adrenal fatigue. Haven't seen a doctor about it but I heard about it so I researched it, quit coffee and now when I drink it I get so tired.
Just for clarity I used to love the old way of doing things, maybe you don't hear that enough. Also love this too.
LoVaKo you don’t need to shower daily if you’re not doing something daily that is making you sweat.
Good luck, my 2020 challenges will be similar 💪
I've just got to say your video in intermittent fasting gave me a new perspective on the whole thing. I used to think it was some weird paleo mega weight loss crazy person trend but you made it seem much less so. So I looked up some science behind it and deecided to try. And oh my god it has helped my mental health so much! I did not think it would do anything except make med lose some weight and maybe make me feel less drowzy, but my mental state has drastically improved. I don't even care if I've lost any weight or not, the benefits to my mental healt has more than made it all worth it. I have a tip regarding fixing the time machine. You should just decide to fix it later and then (after fixing it) go back in time to this moment and leave the fixed machine. And it won’t be a problem leaving the machine since you now left the repaired machine already so you don’t need to fix it! Problem solved!
But then there are two of him... but wait, clones, maybe that's how the cloning process works!
Jonathan Berry that makes no sense. Cloning is obviously done in the cloning machine.
@@PontusWelin A time machine you use for making temporal copies of yourself would be labeled a cloning machine right!
surely you don't just have your future self drop it off and then just stay in their past as your double! They bring it and then you drop them back off in your future, keeping the machine and bringing it back to now, right?
Kira Ragged the future self can just go back in the machine it came in since present self now has a working machine.
Please please please become a scarecrow for a month... or at least make one of the clones do it.

There was a big hoo-ha recently as one of Nord's servers (or a server that had access to it) was hacked, potentially causing problems for people that use Nord. A lot of tech UA-camrs dropped Nord as a sponsor due to the way they handled it (not because of the actual hacking).

Hmm, challenge ideas:

Try yoga every day for a month. Or jogging.
Try to read a book a day every day for a month.

The first video of yours I watched was the quitting sugar video and I've watched every one since.

Idea for Chyna for the no coffee video: drink decaf. It doesn't work for everybody, but if you like the taste of coffee, you might be able to "fool" your brain into "thinking" you're still drinking regular. It worked for me.
Isn't decaf still 5% caffeine?
There's still caffeine in decaf though.
@@GoddessFourWinds Well, we don't live in a perfect world.
I feel like Chyna probably does it for the pep anyways
I recently discovered that I have a sensitivity to caffeine. I can drink a cup of caffeinated tea but a cup of caffeinated coffee will make me jittery and even trigger my heart palpitations... but I do like coffee so I only drink decaf now. I never understood those people that only drink it for the buzz, I only ever drink coffee for the taste.
Chyna is so refreshingly honest.

The ultimate challenge; Do all the challenges combined. You'll be a real master.
I really want to go on more walks. I just went from a physically demanding job to a sedentary one.
But I’m a petite young woman so walking alone in the early morning or evening (especially in the dark winter months) can be anxiety inducing. :(
Maybe instead of walking, go running at a gym. If a nearby gym has a track you could walk or run around that, if your going for the physical activity.
Can you get a large dog?
BeKindRewrite I WISH. Apartment living and the like.
(And the membership is +$$$)
Could you find a walking buddy?
Journal for a month. Much like meditating, but an easy way to start tracking what thoughts pass most on your brain.
I started intermittent fasting because of your video and I’ve been doing it pretty much since then. Lost a bunch of weight and highly recommend!
Becoming Godsize the eating window helps keep me from snacking especially at night.
Congratulations. Ommmmmmmmmmmm.
Today I meditated through my timer - instead of 20 minutes, I did an hour and a half. Now I'm serene af.

Glad your channel has peaked again, you went through getting below 20k views for ages but glad it’s successful again
List of my reactions to your video:
Great comment
Honestly, you've inspired me to do better and make better choices.
IDEAS:
1. Yoga (or a new workout class every day with class pass)
2. Keto/paleo
3. Some kind of budgeting/finance video
4. Wear new outfits / style
5. Drinking enough water everyday
6. Raw vegan
7. Take some kind of class everyday for a month and see how good you can get (ex. A dance class, archery, etc.)
8. 100 burpees every day or some other fitness challenge (p90x etc )
PS: Love your videos and humor!

-10k steps a day (work requires me to move more so it is easier. Some days I just sloth but it definitely feels good walking more, Lost a little weight)
-Meditation (off and on, doing guided ones so far, that motivates me to come back for another, should do it more regularly. Still waiting for more good results, so far it just helps me fall asleep better when I meditate before bed.)

What did he used to do?
He said he felt a little bored and unsatisfied with the same format for so long, and wanted to try something new. I really loved his comedy style but I don't think it's totally gone, so as long as he's creatively fulfilled :D the archives will still always be there
I completely agree. I loved the old content and usually watched every single new upload, but barely watch the new content.
I agree with Wheezy. The old stuff got boring and he needed to go in a new direction. That's what creative people do.
Iva Čukić agreed. While these month long challenges are certainly entertaining, I’m afraid they might be sending the wrong message to their audience-that these are short term activities to be pursued in short sprints and one should expect results immediately or discard said activity as ineffective...
