Ah Sahm beat Leary so bad he went into politics lmao. But like you pointed out he had a similar moment to season 1 ep 9, but all of season 2 he’s been in the fighting pits preparing for this moment. It showed his growth and I’m glad he stopped Leary’s heart for a second

I watched the recap on YT for this episode. I think the writers said that it was a last minute decision to give Ah Sahm a hero to the people image and have his mural on the wall

In case anyone forgotten, Leary visited his family's grave in the first episode so Ah Sahm asking about his kids was what triggered him
I actually did forget about that
father jun and buckley are the only ones without a sex scene. they've toned down the sex scenes in season 3,.. just slightly

I was mainly referring to the tone of the episode. It could honestly just be me but it felt like it shifted in a good way of course
