Good idea mate. It makes sense doesn't it? Ultimate is absolutely and entirely different compared to basic and core ones. A lot of games have adapt this behavior and it look good. It won't hurt if they do it on D4 because now, we could AT LEAST have another skill that we can use.

Are these the only ultimates or are there different ultimates by spec? For Necro, for instance, they showed bone storm to synergize with bone spec. Is there a blood ult and a shadow ult as well? I would assume so. Very cool stuff. Super stoked for launch.
necromancer doesn’t have an explicit shadow ult. however i just found a legendary necklace that transforms blood wave and bone storm both into darkness skills with shadow damage. it’s really dope but i still feel like army of the dead is his best ult.

In end game they are going to be mostly under 30 sec, combined with higher HP pool of enemies in end game world tier, you will get pretty much at least one per pull... so yeah, definitely.
My storm druid has a lot of opportunities to reduce the cooldown and extend the duration of cataclysm, ive had rotations where it was off cd before the effect ended, clears mobs extremely well but does have some low single target/elite dps.
I think it's funny that the more we progressed from Diablo 2 the more melee physical certain casters become. We need a caster that does everything in physical range. Too bad multiplayer is dead otherwise we could have won super support class.

Not for the world boss, everything if you already unlocked it, you don't need to. The only additional is the world boss mount trophy for server slam. Don't forget they delete all your work after so play around with different characters if you got time.
No, you need to do it in this Server Slam event that's coming up. It's a new challenge they added for the additional reward. Beat Ashvara, the world boss at Level 20, which is not only the new cap in this beta, but 5 levels lower than the previous beta's cap which was 25. It might help you to learn that the world boss will be spawning every 3 hours in this beta, so plenty of opportunities if it can somehow line up with your schedule.
I used to buy the digital and physical edition, redeem digital and play the game, after you receive your physical edition ask for a refund of the digital, always explain in your ticket the reason. Always worked with the old Blizzard, not sure now.
Gear def matters. Maybe not as much as before but aspects and gem slots can make or break a build. My barbarian would be much weaker. Lvl 40 hardcore and it slaps in both world tiers

The only thing that you need to improve that is to add more interesting content in the game. Why don’t you? The graphic and game play is perfect as my personal perspective but lacking of content. Doing daily nightmare dungeon is boring.
Im going barb as main, but man ults are so boring, uninspiring. Whats with that giant weapon and chain swinging...kills my immersion. Played beta without any ults in my builds.... Not hating on the game just my honest thoughts about some skills.
So good at making trailers but gameplay not so great.. What the trailer doesn't tell you is 90 second cool down on ultimates that last 3 seconds and that you'll be spending all your time using a "generator skill" that hits like a wet noodle.
Ultimates should be a builder spender or a separate button a lot to sacrifice for its cooldown
diablo 4 should have added a seperate ultimate button.

Yeah each Class has 3 ultimates to choose from.
3 for each + there are Gear effects that change element type for some of them.

I loved the look, but damage felt bad when I was lvl24. Maybe my stats just sucked, but Hydra and Chain Lightning felt a lot better.
