The MJ thing as previously mentioned- but no, JC couldn’t have carried those high notes because he doesn’t have a falsetto (at least not in the same way). If anyone would have been a suitable alternative, it would have been Chris. this is the best NSYNC song and Justin wrote it/produce it. He produced a lot of NSYNC songs too. And people still claim JC should've been the star when he had no pasion for music besides having a good voice. JT had the passion, the pen, the ears and the vision for music.
JC literally wrote songs for multiple other groups and did back up vocals for them as well. He also wrote a lot of the songs on this album. He's a well credited write and producer. He just didn't make himself the singular lead for the songs he wrote and produced. He was involved in a lot more of the writing and producing for Nsync. JT was as well but JC a bit more.
