It may be me, but I think they buffed up the movement speed. I remember a review saying how slow T3 movement was compared to one and two, and the og T3 on N64 did have slower movement imo. Seeing the characters actually run on the remaster improves the pacing nicely
Does that also not work very well? I have to think, "Do I want to help the enemy take all my life? Let's try using the Vampire gun again," when I select it.
This is where Joseph really begins to shine. His weapons are really good against most of the basic enemies, But once again the poor weapon balance shows here.. the shotgun does more damage than the upgraded shredder. And WOW is the Storm bow downright broken. I do love it all the same though.
i was really hoping theyd either fix the shotgun ammo consumption, or increase the damage, theres no reason why they shredder or fireswarm should use 5 ammo per shot when they suck so bad
@@makethemscared oh wow. Yeah I actually forgot about that as well. That definitely needs a patch lol! Well against the Ophistor the Base shotgun does 2 bars of damage. I'm thinking it should do 1 bar and the upgraded shotguns should do 2, and also fix the ophistor bug with the Fireswarm. It's only slightly stronger than the pistol against him, doing 20 damage instead of 10, apparently because he is standing in acid the game treats it the same as water so it puts the flames out. Making the damage terrible.
Wouldnt be suprised if the Shotgun does more damage, simply because Iguana prefered it as some sort of "classic gun", and not for some other reason. Although if Turok 2's balance was more logical, then maybe not...
Yeah, I've noticed the problem with Ophistor, it feels like they either buffed him a bit much or something clearly wrong with he weapons. Grenade Launcher, Tek bow, Firestorm Cannon, and now the Shredder aren't dealing enough damage. I know the Shotgun and Storm Bow were really effective against Ophistor in the original. But also in the Original, the tek bow, Grenade Launcher and Shredder, did do good damage, and the Firestorm cannon was able to melt Ophistor. Can't say what's going on with Sniper cause it also was doing great damage to him in the Original.
@@theseer656 the way i always felt about the shotguns in general is they aren't really worth using all that much to begin with, i know the fireswarm has it but it needs to be changed, the shredder has no advantage over the normal shotgun aside from a small chance of stunning but both shotguns should just be better, i used to think maybe doing the normal damage as the default shotgun would be cool, but they both do elemental damage over time that lasts 3-5 seconds that could also equal to an extra bar of boss health, the fire swarm does a decent job at that, but for 5 ammo it needs to be better as for the shredder, the stunning effect doesnt always happen so it should just be switched out for an electric damage over time like the fireswarm it would be a very good change especially since they're increasing the health on a lot of enemies, it would make using the upgraded shotguns actually worth the extra ammo
The rats having glowing red eyes, they are Skaven scouts. Cerebral Bore was godlike in Rage Wars, mostly for the effect of making your enemy stand still while it works, so you can switch to the shotgun or the sniper and finish them off. I think the vampire gun got remade into "The Emaciater" (E-Mace-E-Ate-ur) in Rage Wars. It was cool because the primary fire would suck your blood out and make you look thin like it does here, but the alternate fire was a charged shot that did the opposite, if the power shot landed your enemy would inflate until they burst.
what i find wrong with these remasters is that they do not re-balance the number of enemies or their location, i mean, playing these games with m/k make shooting enemies so easy and boring IMO, still great games of course.
I think that would be more of a remake than a remaster, but they have released editing tools. You probably haven't seen it yet. ua-cam.com/video/KFZRNVCL4MI/v-deo.htmlsi=vYz57pXuykJGFxAv
I'm planning on creating a mod that introduces more enemies. I will also add additional furniture and objects to various areas to make the game even more vibrant and detailed. Additionally, I have a weapon pack, and once I figure out how the scripting works, I might create a weapon pack mod for this game.

i think its an illusion the wider FOV creates
Oh wow I just realized. I think the Vampire gun is the Symbiote from Rage wars... It looks very similar to that thing on Symbionts back 😮

It's a shame that Turok2 Remastered have no autoaim on consoles. So good to see it back in T3.👍

Cool I never played rage wars but I'll have to give it a try sometime.
Yo Buddy! I snagged, in bottom sewer far grate, an early Shredder! 5 mins ago @ 1:35! Never seen a gun like this.
One shot kills on Raptors, 2 wall-bounce shots on Raptors too.
I want to play it so bad

Have you shown what the graphical options are in any of your videos? I'm hoping you can still turn bloom off like in the first two remasters.
You can turn off Bloom
When did this get announced??
A few months ago.

@@TheGamingChad. Are you using the Blender addon for this? I would be happy to promote it on my channel.
Did you get the shredder upgrade in the first sewer area?
I didn't know there was one there!
No worries. Used your videos to help complete my opening Joseph run so thanks for the uploads.
@@RK13208 thanks for watching 😀
