Ok, now this is my absolute favorite Galadriel and Sauron video on the internet. The use of the quote in the beginning is so perfect! And the coloring adds such a beautiful, mystical feel to the whole thing. I love the manips you used, the romantic clips of them that we never got in the show. Used in this context, they are even more enhanced and enchanting than they were on their own!
I'll list some of my favorite parts here:
0:35 : I love how you edited the water effect onto the scene where Halbrand touches her face. And the use of the mirror for her to look back onto her past moments with her love is such a great idea.
0:37 : The audio clip of Halbrand telling Galadriel to look at him!! I love how that gives off the effect that his words are echoing in her mind, (or through the mirror!)
0:40 - 0:45 : The scene where you had Galadriel look back on such a tender and intimate moment of Halbrand kissing her cheek is so genius! I love it! The cut to black before it starts, Galadriel looking at the mirror, Halbrand kissing her cheek, and present Galadriel closing her eyes as she remembers how it felt as he kissed her, and how much she misses and loves him. The coloring on that manip (or is it ai?) clip is perfect. I love all of the manips you used, and the added coloring adds so much to them! And I adore how the music matches the scene with it's vocals.
0:46 YOUR LIGHT!! And that scene! I've been obsessed with it since I first saw it. I think all us Haladriel shippers are.
0:51 Elrond confronting Galadriel scene!! It's like, she knows she has done a terrible thing, but it can't have been ALL bad, because she loves him, and she knows how strong their love is. (cosmic connection anyone?) She knows it's wrong and that she deserves to be confronted and punished for it, but still... arghh they make me go insane.
0:52 Again with Galadriel closing her eyes and remembering her and Halbrand in the Forge. How his lips felt on hers... she knows it's wrong, but she still craves it.
0:54 I FREAKING LOVE THIS SCENE!! The way he leans in to her, the coloring!! And the way the filter makes it look like it's dark in the Forge, which is different from the show, and great!! I love to see a new spin on old scenes!
0:58 Morfydd looks so ethereal here! Such great casting, she really looks like an elven goddess! And again, props to the coloring to making it look even cooler.

1:02 The "Who is this man?" with the lyrics: "I don't think they'd understand it, no." YUPP!!
1:08 The "He is Sauron." and Elrond and Gil' Galad looking on with the lyrics "I don't think they would accept me, no..." The looks on their faces with those lyrics are so addicting together! Loveee this part!!
I love the scene at 1:16 where they're looking at each other, but instead of the it being like the original scene in the show, at 1:19 you reversed it!! to where she looks away from him. She wants him, but she can never even think of going towards the darkness like that. It would be too terrible for Middle Earth, and people would never look at her the same again.
1:27 AHHH!! Them both saying her name at the same time, but she's remembering him saying it while she says it. Her closed eyes give off the feeling like she's remembering how it sounded like a carress coming from his mouth.
1:33 How she runs to a private space because all she can remember is how his arms felt around her, and right now that's almost too much for her. She misses him so much, and that combined with the fact that they never truly can be together is too overwhelming!
(Also that HUG?!! YES GIVE ME MORE I NEED TEN THOUSAND MORE SCENES LIKE THIS!!)
1:37 Them smiling at each other on the boat as Galadriel and Halbrand, AND THEN THAT TRANSITION TO ANNATAR?? The smile to the look of evil!! YESSS you're picking up what I'm putting down!
1:43 The lyrics with her falling off the cliff with those effects?? Perfection. I love how you utilized the effects in this video and the transitions too.

1:48 (Lyrics continuing with "...MY HEAD!") THAT LOOK!! The look Sauron (in his Halbrand form, mind you!! *cause that's the form she fell in love with*) gives her?!! OH MY GOD! And the look she gives him back?! God, she really wants to say yes to him.
(The use of the lyrics with these specific clips being used gives off the insane vibe. I absolutely love it.)
1:50 THE CUT TO THEM FIGHTING IN THE FINALE AND SAURON USING HIS HALBRAND FORM TO STOP HER FROM KILLING HIM/MANIPULATING HER TO HIS CAUSE!!
1:50 ("LIKE ADVERSARIES!!") and this clip, YESSSS!!
1:53 The effect and the cut to her in the present where she's fighting to say no to him!! Yupp!

1:54 THAT CLIP OF THEM and the lyric ("GOD!") is so romantic and also SO intense. It works so well because the pull Galardriel feels towards him and the firery passion IS so intense, and the use of this lyric and this scene convey that.
(I'm also just gonna say that I absolutley love this scene!!)
1:56 The lyrics saying "Wrestle me free" and those clips playing work so perfectly, because she wants so badly to be free of him, of his influence. She has to be. For the greater good. No good can come out of them being together, but somehow, she still wants it. Wants him. Wants the POWER.
1:58 That part of the song and them fighting with the sword and Morgoth's Crown. (God, she's fighting against him *and herself!!* so hard, I feel bad for her.) Sauron saying her name like he does, and then the cut to them kissing!! Perfection.
2:02 It's so hard for her, but she does it! She breaks from his grasp, she says no! And it breaks her heart in doing so, but the point is, SHE DOES IT!!

2:52 It's so sad seeing Galadriel staring at the mirror pool just thinking of all that could have been, and all the things that never should be. She looks so broken. Doomed lovers for the win. Everytime.

Looking back on these notes, I've come to the conclusion that I love the whole video. Every part is my favorite part. This is so well done, I literally cannot.

I love how it looks, and I've been trying to create a similar sort of thing with the effects/transitions on my own edits, but at the moment I can't seem to figure out how to create ones that I'm looking for, ones like this. Thanks in advance!)
OMG! First of all, wow thank you SOO MUCH! This type of comments mean so much to me, really. The fact that you caught every single thing I wanted to convey with the video astonished me 😊 I'm glad you really liked it, it took quite a bit to make 🙃 and of course, thank you thank you for taking the time to comment about it in such a detailed way, it made me really happy and I got really excited 😋
I use Sony Vegas Pro 17 for editing the videos, and then I use the transitions and effects that the program provides (I also downloaded newbluefx which provides more effects and transitions to use) The coloring I downloaded from youtube from other content creators and I edited it a bit for my liking. These program and effects you have to paid for (but if you are a little bit sneaky like me, you might or not might find a way to download them for free 😜) (I don't remember how I downloaded them, it was a years ago, sorry I can't be of more help)
I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP! I have another vidding channel but I hadn't uploaded anything for quite a while and this TWO inspired me to vid again, so I'm really stoked that you liked it so much and that I was able to connect with you in this matter. 🥰

About the editing service question: I have Sony Vegas Pro 17 as well. I have for years, but it seems that every time I try to edit on there, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use it! It's so complicated and advanced, and I don't know where to start with finding out how to add transitions or effects, or finding the right buttons to press. Let alone finding tutorials on how to do what I want to. I've been at a standstill since I first bought the service in 2019. Recently, I've tried using Capcut, which is free. But now that service is adding more and more effects/transitions/colorings, etc. onto their paid for pro plan, which they didn't do back when I started on it in 2021. It's so frustrating, because I have so many edit ideas, and no way to create what I think of! I think I'll have to get NewBlue. I have been meaning to for years, so I'll probably invest in that, so I can utilize more colorings and effects.
If you could give me any advice on this subject, that would be so helpful. Even if you could just point me in the right direction for tutorials on how to work Sony Vegas, and ones on how to edit videos like the fan edits I see on UA-cam.

@@madfedererlaufeyson7539 I have been editing videos for like 15 years so it is a bit difficult for me to explain how i started, but what i can tell you is EXPERIMENT, it takes time to learn this things, I learned by trial and error, try to imitate other creators, 'press buttons' that you are not sure what they do and you will start to find new things to try, and don't worry if it doesn't look how you want it to (you should have seen my first videos...yuck). Don't stress out, little by little you will start to improve 😚

I'm still loving the romantic Galadriel and Sauron scenes you used in this edit that don't exist in the show. Did you create them with Ai? I'd love to use these clips in my own Haladriel edit, so I was wondering if you could you pass on the link to me? If not, it's totally ok, I understand. Thanks in advance!
I did create them with AI. It is quite easy to make, you just find an AI page, upload a screencap of what you want to edit and write what you want the AI to make (I used pollo.ai, but beware, it's not magic and more likely than not it will not look good)
