    The beginning of the high definition era. All networks were in HD (except for Fox) but only a few series with big budgets were produced in HD (or widescreen for Fox). The rest were still in standard definition due to the lack of HD editing bays.

    it's kind of trippy seeing how some people get 'Typecast' as 'the cop' the 'lawyer', the 'Bureaucrat'... and how their old work could almost be re-cut/dubbed to function as a flashback for future roles...

    I remember those shows. 18 of them were cancelled after first season, smallville and "law and order" lasted 9 and 10 seasons respectfully, The amazing race is still currently on TV.

    I was born in 1991 and watched a ton of TV, but this is probably the first year I really paid attention to new shows. I actually remember quite a few of these even if I didn't necessarily watch them then. I finally started watching Smallville in November 2020, so I was just a couple decades late. :)

    Scrubs would go on to become my favorite show. To the point where I couldn't miss a single episode. I remember hanging out with a friend, and I literally needed to the new episode of scrubs, so I sat in his room, and watched the entire episode by myself.

    I have my own tastes to account for but the intros here that pop out here like Alias and Scrubs really understood the art of credits was more than just a parade of names over montages. Truly the beginning of a new era for television...

    Some of these intros, you can hide the lower right hand corner and I'll be able to tell what network they aired on just by how the theme song goes.

    Why did anyone think it would be a good idea to make an Emeril Lagasse sitcom? I'm still wondering. However, I LOVED Undeclared, According to Jim, Law & Order: CI (still one of my favorites), The Bernie Mac Show, Reba, Crossing Jordan, Undercover, They had a lot of hits this year with Scrubs, Smallville, Star Trek: Enterprise, 24, Alias, The Amazing Race..

But there are a few stubborn copyright holders still blocking a handful of my uploads for no good reason. It seems the more I get into the 90s and beyond, the more problematic it becomes. Series I'd love to have seen, or did and enjoyed: Reba, Smallville, Crossing Jordan
    Maybe: Emeril, According to Jim, Scrubs, Maybe it's Me, Raising Dad, Undeclared, Men Women & Dogs, Tick, Enterprise (niiiice theme! And long. A ballad), Wolf Lake, Education of Max Bickford (liked second intro better), Citizen Baines, Guardian, Law & Order Criminal Intent (did not get to see this installment), Undercover, 24, Agency, Alias, thieves
    Intros WAAAAY too short. Except Enterprise.

      @RwDt09  7 років тому +3

      This would be true. The original intro... well, yeah, there was none. Merely the number 24 showing up followed by "previously on" scenes, then followed by the episode starting up with the credits popping up one by one as the action transpired. But the fan-made opener seemed decent and credible enough to use, even if I didn't realize it was fan-made (I was never a follower of 24 - Sutherland has no appeal to me - so that's why its lack of any real intro escaped me). But I get things right 99% of the time.
