@1:55 JS2410 is Alder body, not basswood. (not being argumentative just some people won't buy basswood guitars, they dent easy and wont hold screws like alder/mahogany.) The js2410 is Alder on ibanez specs.
Im selling my 7 string prestige Ibanez and 25Th Anniversary RG to get this guitar. This is the only guitar i need same mindset as you. I own the JS140 and so impressed with it im sold on this model hands down.
I think one of your specs was wrong dude...... It should be an Alder body, NOT basswood like you said unless early ones were basswood, Im not sure! I own the same guitar and its Alder. There lovely guitars.
I got the same guitar, but mine is the pro series and it has a middle pickup and 3 toggle switches ! Mine is on the wall as an art display !! 😂 The floating bridge drove me crazy !! I could never keep it tune ! Mine was made in Japan ! 👍
@@Thenon-mediocreguitarist I looked all over the internet !! I was trying to find the wiring diagram for it ! NOTHING !!! Mine is Burgundy and black. I have the serial number for it, if you know where to look it up ? Mine looks like Joe Santriani's guitar ! The headstock looks just like yours ! After I put strings on it, I'll make a video of it and post it !
@@chocolatecookie8571 I made a video for you ! I really don't know why this guitar won't stay in tune ! I think I just bought a lemon ! ua-cam.com/video/yPmIivf6bH0/v-deo.htmlsi=uYJea5DSLY2II0rz

You are 100% correct. The 2400 and 2480 are basswood. Appreciate the correction

amazing guitar.
Thank you. It really is stunning to look at. Looks and playability make it an A++ in my book.
I will be buying a purple one soon
@@GaryHughes-h9b every time I look at it I’m reminded how blessed I am to have it. Joe started it all for me. Met him at Vai academy in ‘19…

@@TheBluesine you are 100%..
if it has stainless steel fret that would absolutely be perfection

How is it possible that your guitar won't stay in tune. These bridges are very sterdy when it comes to tune stability
