For all Kingdom readers who ended up here, I just want to give you a friendly reminder that Kingdom itself is a manga based on historical events...it is by no mean should be treated as a valid history source. its just like with the Romance of Three Kingdoms. The popular version of it is based on a romanticized novel while the real history is different.
When Qin tried to attack Chu, they failed at first because General Li Xin was sure they can take Chu with just 200.000 army despite Wang Jian suggested to bring 600.000 army. It was one of the biggest set back in Qin's history of unification. After that, Wang Jian attack Chu with 600.000 army and achieve victory And yes, general Li Xin is our main protagonist Xin in Kingdom anime/ manga series. Xin retired and was given a land by the king after the unification of China It's the history, but I still hope Xin can be the greatest general in the Kingdom series
To be fair Li Xin is an okay general. He was stated, being a bad commander for a huge army. But a very good one for smaller troops. He help attack and conquered many countries with ousen. ( yes ousen is technically the strongest general at the time.) He survived all the war, and end up haveing a huge family. One of his descendants Li Guang became a famous Han dynasty general. Who help Han army defeat the Xiong nu empire, basically making Han people the true boss of Asia at the time. Later the first emperor of China Tang Dynasty. Li shiming was rumors to be a descendant of Li Xin as well. In China Lin Xin was famous for having possibly one of the most badass bloodline in Chinese history.
Oh please that is meant to glorify ou sen... The invasion of chu by the hi shin and mouten army failed because of the betrayal of qin's primary strategist and attacked them from behind
That is nice for Xin, since most of good generals in Chinese(or around the world) tend to end up being framed for the guilt they havent done and got executed lol
The problem now arises cause riboku(Li Mu) and ousen(Wang Jian) have a standoff on the latest chap, according to the history Han should have been the first to fall in the hands of Qin but the manga first attacks Zhao, so now the manga is pretty unpredictable in his upcoming chaps.
@@polaropps_ just because Zhao is attacked in the current arc in Kingdom it doesnt mean its gonna fall now. As it is stated in this video Qin conquers 9 cities of Zhao and they retreat and that is what is gonna happen in the current arc.
+Adolf Shreklgruber a full span of Imperial China would include the Jurchens, the Yuan (Mongols), the three Korean dynasties of Goguryeo, Silla and Baekje, the Vietnamese, Siberians(representing Russia) and of course, Heian period Japan. The three kingdoms should be one group (like the Greek City States in TWR) as separately they were not so notable.
For kingdom fanbois, Li Xin did become a general and was the one who led the first failed conquest of Chu. His bloodline would continue to become generals for the Han, and eventually Emperors of the Tang dynasty.
@@aaravjain7090 Nah, he was overshadowed by Wang Jian (Ousen). I think he died of old age cuz he retired after the reunification of China. But Qin China didn't last long, and was soon succeeded by the Han. Granted his family had produced generals for the Han dynasty, it's safe to say his family didn't opposed the Han's takeover.
lol it's pretty certain that Li Yuan is not related to Li Xin. In fact the Tang dynasty are very likely turkic in origin. They even claimed that their ancestor is Lao Zi to hint at their difference from the Han people. "Li" is just a Han name they adapted.
the Great Wall as we know it was mostly from the Ming Dynasty, much later. The real protection against the northern steppe people was often client states in the north of China who kept the invaders out. One of them, the Liao even became a dynasty in their own right, while the Jin Dynasty's foundation was also in the North.
Li Mu was the second most powerful general in the Warring States Period. He used infantry to destroy the Hun cavalry regiment in the north of Zhao State and defeated Donghu. Then he went to the south of Zhao and defeated the most ferocious Qin army at that time. Regrettably, King Zhao killed Li Mu because he listened to other people's rumors. Because of Li Mu's death, Wang Jian, General of Qin State, soon occupied Handan, capital of Zhao State, and Zhao State declined thereafter.
Tok lin yeo manga doesnt go exactly same as history because riboku never had lost a battle in the history and he is one of the four greatest generals of chinas warring states period and he never involved in the battle with ousen
Changping is one of the most decisive battles in Chinese history as it finally established Qin as the strongest power in China and led to the unification of the countries under Qin as the Zhao was the only state strong enough to resist them at that time especially after they reformed their army then Changping happened.

@ايجون تارجاريين qin as an Chinese dynasties did their job. Han inherited the qin and did what they couldn’t do. They rule for 400 years. Also the descendent of shin actually becomes general of the Han empire as well. Tang dynasties also claimed they are descendants of shin. Shin’s blood line is very famous in China
Broing. compare to the massive Chinese armies numbering in the ten's of thousands, the japanese warring states battles are more like minor regional skirmishes
This period is possibly the most dramatic era of Chinese history that has not been properly dramatize in popular culture or film. You have hundreds of years of on and off battles, war, plots, intrigue, assassination and etc. Not to mention the birth of many schools of Chinese philosophy. Everything that came afterward in Chinese history and culture could not compare because everything fundamentally changed after the unification of the states as China became a more internally pacifist state. But almost everything that came afterward has it roots in this period.
What about the Terracotta Army? Once thought a myth but discovered by accident, in fact it is said that the entire province of Xian is littered with historical relics, underground, literally everywhere you dig, if you dig hard enough you did find a historical relic from some period or the other. Too bad excavation is impossible nowadays due to development but the relics are still there buried right under the ground. Imagine if farmers had not accidentally dug up the terracotta army site, today that area will have been fully developed and the legend of Qin emperor will only remain a myth in historical text.

Hi,
Just so you know, you should have emphasized the difference between the "Han" State during the warring state period and the "Han" Dynasty founded by Liu Bang
Han State - 韓
Han Dynasty - 漢 founded by Liu Bang who's from Chu and broke away from it to form his own Dynasty
Shit now I have to stop reading Kingdom. So everything Shin is doing to become a great general of the havens ends up for nothing.
Airnicco no dont
The mangaka might take a different route. Who knows
? What you mean? His is a great general even according to chinese history

Chleo SaMa- 1.岩里正男?蔡英文?2.是少民贵和四等汉

謝了啊!!!XDDD 我剛把我的水吐出來!!!唉,好久沒那麽笑了。
Im chinese but i prefer the warring states of japan era a lot better
Broing. compare to the massive Chinese armies numbering in the ten's of thousands, the japanese warring states battles are more like minor regional skirmishes
SilentNoise103 I know the feeling, Many relics had existed in Japan until today, but for China, most of relics had lost due to the time.
