We were in the 84% range for the eclipse here in Iowa. We used welding helmets to look at it. It didn't get very dark, but we had clear skies to view it. Philly cheesesteaks, yum!

Got to watch the eclipse from my house lots of people came to Ohio to see it . I got very emotional watching. When it got dark my outside lights started coming on , it was like three in the afternoon . Hope you get to see it ! 🌸🦋🌸
I watched the eclipse here in missouri ... its was about 87% but still got fairly dark. I had a picnic too and even a made-at-home banana split to end the picnic. A fun time was had and at 70, I most likely won't be alive for the next one. Whoo hoo!!!!!

I live in Seymour, IN and we were in the Solar Eclipse Totality. It was awesome! It got dark like a twilight, the temperature dropped 4-5 degrees, the birds got quiet, my dog got spooked and all the neighbors were out looking at the sky (with approved Solar Eclipse Glasses) and the town set off some fire works and people were all excited. Was a good experience.
We live directly in the path of totality, Buffalo NY. But, heavy, slow moving clouds were over the area. It was hit or miss if you got to see it-we didn't. But when it got dark it was magical, a thin, beautiful sunset appeared on the horizon and it went dark really fast and then light really fast. We had shirts and glasses and a once in a lifetime experience even without the view of the Eclispe. Our grandson about 20 miles away saw the whole thing. Life is good! Stay safe all. Sarah K.

The giant Reese’s bar makes a great easy pie! You melt it in the microwave then stir in a container of cool whip and put it in a graham cracker crust. Refrigerate until firm then try not to eat the entire pie at once😂😂

We spent the evening yesterday making homemade hot pockets. We made burnt ends, onions, and cheese and also ham and cheese. So much better than store bought. Philly cheesesteak is one of our favorites. Dominos pizza makes a good Philly cheesesteak pizza, but it tastes even better on the hand pan crust. Yum 😋 Thanks for taking us along for your day. Hi Falon I live here in Ohio and we got to see not only the total eclipse, but we also were able to see Venus, and some were also able to see Jupiter. My ten year old granddaughter loved it but we were so surprised how much my fourteen year old grandson, who is autistic, enjoyed it! 😊
Did see it a little as clouds broke up some here in North Dakota. My husband viewed it through his welding helmet!! That and sunglasses worked great! But we were only in 60% totality.

We had totality here in the Dallas TX area starting about 1:35 pm for 2 and 1/2 minutes. My first time to see an eclipse and it was surreal. ☀🌑☀
