The card toward the end of the video, in pink and white with the little bird on the heart in the upper left-hand corner is probably one of the most beautiful cards I've ever seen. If anyone had sent that to me, I'd have framed it and put it out just to be able to look at it. So lovely.
I absolutely agree that I prefer watching real time real crafting and not a finished product or preplanned steps. Your videos appeal to me so much because you have a way of making crafts that fit into my frame of mind. I've always loved children's art for the innocent and spontaneous presentation of how they see their world. So it struck me to the heart when you likened "Mindless Crafting" to children child's joy in creating art. I've just started making cards so not much stash. Yet. But now I'm more jazzed than ever anticipating how much fun I'm going to have! Thank you.
What I love about your videos is your focus on relaxation and having fun. I had a really stressful day on Friday, but instead of the usual binging on chocolate or retail therapy, I was suddenly inspired to pull out my paper and make some embellishments. It absolutely did the trick better than the other two approaches would have, and for a lot less money or calories! Thank you for doing what you do

We’re still here. This is faaaaar from boring lady bug. It’s five in the morning when I’m watching this and it makes me want to go to my lab. I used to call it my studio but I do so much experimenting it’s more of a lab. I’m always diy ing stuff that I don’t like paying a lot of money for like stencils and stencil butters and wax guiding pastes. I’ve made a few masses but I’ve had waaaay more successes. It’s fun and never a dull moment. Somewhat unpredictable.

I used to hate long videos, but when I found your channel a couple of nights ago, I grew to love them. I am a few years late finding you, but did so enjoy this. This is my 3rd you have done, and loved every minute of how you managed to put it all together where they were so fun. Thanks for your hard work, and thank the dog for me for being patient with you. Thank you for turning on the camera and just letting us in on your thinking process. I have the problem of getting all inspired and then sitting down and not knowing what to put together. It takes me hours to do one card and tags are even worse. I so appreciate watching your process and listening to your thoughts along the way. I am hoping this time I can let go and it will just come naturally.

I loved the cards, so many do only matchie matchie and what you do is so refreshing. You’re not afraid of putting different colors together.
I struggle with layering and matchy matchy designs. I am trying hard to figure it out and get comfortable. Her videos are inspirational for sure. I need to make some embellishments to use up some of the stickers and such that I have had for years, and some that I love and are reluctant to use.

Yeah girl we all rooting you on. Some of us are bossy and sayin’ do this or do that. No matter what they always look beautiful. Tell Bill you snooze you looze. Nice dog. Would not want one that don’t cuddle. You have a wonderful life it sounds like. I am very blessed. I get to take care of my mom and craft almost any time I want to. Have a twelve by sixteen metal building with all the bells and whistles for a craft studio. God lives crafters. He’s a creator too! Love them stitches girl. You need some of those markers on Amazon that have this little wheel on one end and a fine line marker bib on the other. They have a stamping wheel on one end that does little stitches on your borders. It’s really cool they come in six or seven different stitches and about twenty four colors. You would love them since you like stitching. I like stitching too and I got some. They are a lot of fun.

Love every one of these cards! Now we just need a video from you on how to write inside and make our normal and mundane handwriting look beautiful! I keep trying to make mine fancy and pretty, but I just doesn't seem to come out very good, no matter how I try. Wish there was an easy method to writing beautifully and scrolls and some flare!
My handwriting is pretty good but when I am doing my Christmas cards or special cards on behalf of a group of people or a Club I write my messages on the computer and print them out. I have several that I can just change the name of the group and the recipient
Thank you Ruth! Good idea. My husband's writing is really pretty, and I keep telling him he ought to write my verses and then I can scan them and print out for different types of cards. I AM going to do that!

I have been crafting along with your videos all summer primarily making Christmas tags, Christmas "Pick Me Up cards", very small cards to tuck into a gift etc. I have a double shoe box size plastic box full and plan to share them with family and friends to use on their packages at Christmas. Once I have finished, I am going to start on All Occasion type cards and gift tags.
I have learned so much from you in the manner of layering and elevating embellishments and also making embellishments....thank you so very much. Have a Blessed day...both you and Bill. I enjoy him poking his 2 cents worth in there and I am looking forward to seeing the results of his crafting too.

I must try making some embellishments when I get through all my other jobs. I cut out some card shapes and sorted my little scraps into one box. I just need to find the time (and space) to sit down and do it!
