Yes... the long fingers with the long nails and the strange ring-amazing scene , its a classic and i will remember it always when i hear this music!Mr.Sarandan was acting so well ...this movie is a classic , do you remember when you watch it for the first time ?? I do remember - its scared me and amazed me , i was 10-11 years old alone in home and i watch the movie on TV , it was 12.00 PM and if my parents were in home i would not watch it , but they were gone on some party...it is one of the movies i will remember all my life , the music was nice , the actors were very good and in my childish imagination it was a real deal ... i still believe in vampires just because this movie!
The scene were Charlie iz pulled by Regine and that sexy as hell dance was soooooo hot. Why you knew some was gonna get their bones jump tonight. Woohoo!!!!
I vividly remember his long fingers and nails and the dark-eyed deadly stare he shot at Charlie across windows, thought it was real creepy and strange. I was around 6 years old when I watched it on videotape on my parents' tv. Just a year after it's release. Didn't watch it again until like ten years later and found the scene and many others just as riveting and spine-tingling. This is music you never forget. Brad is a brilliant composer. He did a similar sounding score for a Tales From the Crypt episode way back as I recall. Something to do with an evil cult. I have always been fascinated by the various rooms and halls and decor in Jerry's home. The paintings of probably his past lovers including the Amy lookalike and that stain-glass window at the top of his front hall stairs. Oh yes.
For me this is the best Scene in the whole Movie! Everithing is just perfect , the acting , the músic , the fangs & those long fingers with long nails closing that window is just epic!
I really miss how vampires used to be. They had a really deep seductive notion about them, they could charm you in a mere glance but should you try to fight them they show you an ugly evil.
That guitar! Holy crap! When I heard it the first time I never realized that a screaming lead guitar would be such a great instrument for a horror flick soundtrack. I dunno ifthe movie would've been that good without the scenes where that guitar just adds such intensity to them. Brilliant Brad! Just Brilliant!
@@shayekisitu I think the electric violin was used on the other version. The scene where him and Amy are getting it in. This version is when he first sees Jerry through his window. I think this is an electric guitar or some sort of synth that sounds like one.
the solo was done on an electric violin,he thought it would be interesting to go back to the eastern European idea of equating a vampire with a fiddle,Then twisting it to sound like a guitar... which makes it even more fucking cool!
Your life is the same Day after day Everything that you do You do the same old way I can show you the world in a different light Keep your heart to yourself Give your soul to the night Come to me When you're lonely Come to me When you need something new Come to me When you're restless 'Cause I've got something just for you Just for you...
+Rish Fish I wonder what happened to him, what made him quit... I wonder if he still plays music just for himself... Such a talented man, wish he would keep on sharing his gift with us...
+Antichrist2000 I agree Hans Zimmer is overrated and repeat his own material to much. Now Brad Fidel is unrated, for you can hear his music from his film he compose the score to, like The Terminator, True Lies, and few others have there own feel.
+Eliskoopa Maybe it stressful to think of music can be different and not reused old material. Sadly the truth most composers if get so much work, they'll repeat the same material over and over again with only little differences.
One of the most best 80's vampire movies i have ever seen!!!It's the music that makes the movie so brilliant, atmospheric, seductive and irresistable...could never make such great vampire movies like this again
This song had me feeling weird feelings as a kid when it came out and realizing - ohhh, something’s gonna happen to me one day and it has something to do with this…never forgot it. Genius.
Thank you for uploading this! It is so hard to find the soundtrack online, I've looked many years ago searching for this! Best vampire film of the '80's!
I just watched the remake last night and while it was cool in it's own little way and better than a lot of today's horror movies? It just doesn't even come close to original. The original is easily one of the greatest pieces of horror genius ever created. I would go so far to say it trounces Bram Stoker's Dracula. it was so original and is still fresh today. No one ever thought before to make a movie about people laughing off vampires as TV trash or the fact they've moved right next door to you.
LOVED this song when it came out in freight Night. Even watching it as a kid, the song moved me and I never forgot it! I'm glad I wasn't the only one loving this sexy, weak at the knees song!
this is so so so fucking BEAUTIFUL!!! \m/ all the guitar-people think that this is electric guitar, and they are wrong - because this is ELECTRIC VIOLIN !!!
The intensity of this song electrifies to this day. Wonder, lust, passion. All crammed into this one. Dang it, Brewster how the heck did you miss this one. She could of jump ya bones that night.
@Dylansmovies1 I very much agree,im only fifteen and i love the older movies way better then the newer movies today.Mainly because they are more thoughtful in what they made, not just scratch something that everybody already have seen.....but thanks for showing me that im not some weird kid who loves fright night but hates twilight!
Fright Night!! I thought there was also another theme? At the ending credits, there is this song "Fright night, fright night" etc etc. Not sure about the melody and lyrics. I only see Marcy Darcy when hearing this theme 🤣
agreed... this captures that magic feeling only 80s movies and music can bring for some reason. and the scene with the window when u see sarandons long nails gives me goosebumps!
Its nice to Know the fright night fans are still goin strong. Peter Vincent rules. And the soundtrack is just awsome. Keep it goin. Hey. There are two guys outside, and I think their carrying a coffin. Groovy.
tashisso kute His name is Chris Sarandon - a very great and charismatic actor. For me it's the best performance of a seductive, dark, evil but damn sexy vampire ever in a movie...
+Melissa Hartevelt my god I was like 6 in this and new at that age he was an attractive man, and as I gre to teens I was still like WOW haha! sexy man, especially in that turtle neck haha !
Facts, surprised nobody has sampled it. Hell, how has nobody sampled this song period, the whole thing is dope. There's 2 versions in Fright Night 1985. This is the Dream Window version. The other is the longer electric violin 🎻 version, when Jerry bit Amy.
The guitar riff gives me goosebumps every time 😩✨✨✨
To this day
It's an electric violin.
Me too babe ❤
Nada más la piel ???
Love this tune
Sensual, scary and full of power. It makes me love the night.
i love this type of music....80's will always be the best in terms of movies and music...so proud to be born in the 80's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mikeyboy426 I was born in 1988 but better late than never
I was born in 1988 also. Still proud to be an 80s child
86 yo!
83 Xennial baby. Coolest era in my opinion. We got a little of the old and went into the new. Last year's of anologe and into the digital.
THE 80'S WAS THE BEST DECADE EVER.
Wish it was longer! Ugh I can't get enough of this song
@xlverrx4681 i Feel the Same way!
Look up- fright night come to me insteumental
The perfect vampire song. It was used as Jerry's theme in the first movie, and as Regine's theme in the second movie.
Anyone else just picture those long fingers slowly pulling down the shade there at the end?
Yes... the long fingers with the long nails and the strange ring-amazing scene , its a classic and i will remember it always when i hear this music!Mr.Sarandan was acting so well ...this movie is a classic , do you remember when you watch it for the first time ??

Yep!
amberdelle88 that’s nothing: watch the sequel (if you can find it) and watch Charlie get pulled in by Regine!
The scene were Charlie iz pulled by Regine and that sexy as hell dance was soooooo hot. Why you knew some was gonna get their bones jump tonight. Woohoo!!!!

Its funny how many "sexy songs" have all those lyrics blah, blah, but this one, IS sex in a song and without a spoken word.
Yes 💋💜
This exactly. To the point that I'm not comfortable playing this out loud in the car or around my mother - and I'm grown.
💯% agree. This song screams sex appeal without saying one word!
@@psychoticentertainment34 Seduction before destruction.

The original film brought me here. Truly stunning track !
the remake wouldn't bring you here ....

They were the good old days! I will always look back on the 80's with deep fondness.
This song is so smooth. Goes perfectly with this movie

1985 * * * * * * THE BEST OF MOVIE HORROR '80
GUIDENGI BOLLITO uh. Aliens? The Thing? idk about best
I'm sorry I love fright night to death but the lost boys is my shit

I dunno ifthe movie would've been that good without the scenes where that guitar just adds such intensity to them. Brilliant Brad! Just Brilliant!
pretty sure it was a korg synth of some sort
Brad Fiedel.......Incredibly talented composer. Brilliant use of the electric violin 🎻
It’s sounds like a wolf howling
And he did the Terminator score the man was on fire in the 80s.
@@shayekisitu I think the electric violin was used on the other version. The scene where him and Amy are getting it in. This version is when he first sees Jerry through his window. I think this is an electric guitar or some sort of synth that sounds like one.
This was my favourite scene! The synthesiser and having a major crush on Chris Sarandon 🤤
My ears need a cigarette after that! :D
ohhh yess, I'm on my 2nd one already.
LOL brilliant!!!!
the solo was done on an electric violin,he thought it would be interesting to go back to the eastern European idea of equating a vampire with a fiddle,Then twisting it to sound like a guitar... which makes it even more fucking cool!
HELL YES!!!! IT SOUNDS COOL AS HELL!
fishy264 This is version 1 was done with guitar. Version 2 is the one with the electric violin. Listen closely brother.

True 👍
Nobody even remembers the remake exists. 😂
Actually it’s Fright Night, for real
What a gorgeous gutair piece!!!!!! That passion, that emotion, a crying gutair if there ever was one.
This guitar and production blows me away. 34 years on and never ages. Timeless
One of the most underrated bits of 80s music
“I destroyed your car, Charlie.”
"But that's nothing, compared to what I'm gonna to do to you.....tomorrow night." 😈
@@mrblacksmith33 "I know you're there, Charlie....I-Can-See-You...."

I play this on before I start looking at all the nearby windows.
That Brad Fiedel is a genius with the synthesizer! One of the best of all time! You got my highest vote uploading the best music scores on You Tube!
Welcome to Frrrrright Night... For real.
I was doing some cleaning and I ran across the vinyl disc of the soundtrack. Best vampire movie best soundtrack and its 35 years old !
Totally agree. Alot sat lost boys ( which is great) but Fright night has always been no.1 for me. Both in film and soundtrack
Your life is the same
Day after day
Everything that you do

I can show you the world in a different light
Keep your heart to yourself
Give your soul to the night
Come to me
When you're lonely
Come to me
When you need something new
Come to me
When you're restless
'Cause I've got something just for you
Just for you...
Best vampire ever.
Without a doubt, classic vampire with a modern twist.
Pure 80's beauty , epic movie with an epic soundtrack!
I love the end when it gets all screechy and evil, wish it was longer, great version of the song!
Ive been coming back to this song for over 10 years. Absolutely obsessed with it!
I picture the vampire on roller skates, with her finger nails scraping the lockers
WHAT A PIECE OF MUSIC!!!!!!! Brad Fidel you LEGEND
Beautiful music so brilliantly put together, envokes emotion
Excellent, thank you. Love this version.
Damn I wish Brad Fiedel still composed music
+Rish Fish I wonder what happened to him, what made him quit... I wonder if he still plays music just for himself... Such a talented man, wish he would keep on sharing his gift with us...
+Eliskoopa Me too. He's a musical genius!

Favourite 80s vampire film since 13 years old!!
I wish this was extended
Chris Sarandon is the sexiest vampire in any film or tv show ever and likely won't be repeated...And I say this as a straight male.

That song is as sexy as some of ENIGMA'S music.
Love this little song. Best theme to a vampire film, ever. Thanks for sharing.
It came out just two years before The Lost Boys, but this movie makes feel really old. And as cool as Colin Farrell was, this is the superior version.
Such a shame that this isn't on Spotify.
