  • Lime just reduced the minimum scooter payout here in San Diego from $7 to $5. What does this mean for you? What does this mean if you're considering becoming a Lime Juicer and is Lime Juicing even worth it?

    $4 in st. louis now. still worth it for a couple hours of work. however getting beat by another juicer, and system malfunctions are getting old real quick.

    In my market (memphis) the base is $4 which isnt too bad for just riding around and collecting scooters a couple hours a day

    Also man the market that I am in it's probably one of the best markets you can be in it's a smaller campus but still big enough to have limes there is rarely any available in the day but at 9 p.m. they all go live and it's a very intense to go get them all I usually get 8 to 10 within a half hour

    He's a funny story man so I do this at University of Toledo I was riding the scooter thinking there was a path over the railroad tracks where I was going to take it back to my vehicle and it was raining at night and I hit a mulch puddle that was about 3 by 3 ft and face-planted into the water and I was so soaked 😂

    They just started in my area last week. First night out started late (10 pm) but I snagged 4 easily. However the next morning and to this day all of the local "serve" locations are gone and no longer available so now I have to drive 6 miles away to the nearest serve cluster. Last night (my second attempt) I was out in the field ready to go at exactly 9 pm. By 9:40 pm everything was gone and I only was able to get 2 which is very disappointing. Chased down 3 ghosts. Not enough chargeable scooters available and too much competition. I need to get at least 8-10 to be cost effective. When it was all over last night I worked 90 minutes and only took away $6. Not good. Still no available serve spots in the area where I collected the Limes. Looks like they are shifting everything to the East :(

      Hi snackman thanks for the detailed response. Were the serve points previously available but have since moved? Are they current available but just full from other Juicers? Regarding the competition at 9:00PM I can certainly echo that. When I first started I could grab a good amount and it felt like I was doing this undercover almost, like not many people knew about it. Only took a few months for tons of competition to come out. I do still recommend the platform but under the right circumstances. Regarding the competition sometimes I could try more dense areas so if I miss one I know there's another down the block. That or try a completely different neighborhood etc. Hope this helps!

      Mike. No the original serve points have been shutdown and moved. I'm guessing due to low ridership in the area. I didn't go out tonight but I watched the map from 9-10:45 pm and more seemed available to harvest but eventually by 10:45 were all gone. However 10 new serve points just popped up new out of nowhere closer to my house but not the ones from b4 that were super close. This is all in the SF Valley. Looks like they are in some type of experimental phase. Enjoy the videos keep it up!

    So quick question, what happens if. You gather the scooters in your trunk at 8:30pm? I'm Looking to get ahead so. I can supplement my uber income with scooters since I'm out and about anyway and the scooters only pay $4

    Does this run up your electricity bill charging the scooters in your home?

    I really hate the job. And I have no car. Iam walking. The only good about it is that you can drive them for free when you lock them up to charge them.

    i was told by someone that works and said they needed people to charge them scoters and they said i could get 1000$ per week for charging scoters
    was i lied too?

    • @YourDriverMike
      @YourDriverMike  4 роки тому

      Hi TheCopofDoom gamer, well technically it can be done, but the charging rates here in San Diego are a minimum $4 per scooter. So assuming every scooter is minimum payout you would need to charge 250 scooters a week or 35-36 per day. So yes it can be done but new Juicers will not be able to gather 35 scooters per as their starting 'cap' will be around 12 scooters.

      Very frustrating when trying to harvest. My tip is to look carefully at the app when harvesting. If it's inside a building or home it will show this so I won't bother going after that one.
