Well I was one of those who wrote a dm and honestly you really misunderstand the situation. I’ve never cared about the recipe itself, cause as you said, I watch the videos mostly for David. But When I saw that that pizza recipe was winning I honestly felt so bad for David bc he’s done so many pizza variations already and I don’t think he’s really enjoying them anymore. And I think most viewers would much likely watch something new and a bit more interesting as well. So it wasn’t me “trying to bully him into making the recipe I want”. 🤷🏼♀️ also, most of these dms are not even rude or enraged, I think most of them are pretty funny and lightweight. But that’s just my opinion. I don’t mean to argue or anything, we here are all fans, but just thought I’d defend myself and possibly others, bc you just got the wrong idea ✌️
I agree that rude DMs are unnecessary but the at this point I would rather he just do what he wants instead of polls bc I’m gonna watch regardless and I’d rather he be doing whatever makes him happy

At the end of the day this is your channel and your polls but my opinion is that all of these videos recently have been in your comfort zone. Don't get me wrong the recipes may be difficult like the Baked Alaska but I'm talking more about flavour profile. For example the Triple Layer Cheesecake, the Lasagna Ring and the long slice of pizza, those seems hard to make but they are all flavours you are used to. It would be nice if you maybe tried more exotic foods. Also no matter what you do Ill still watch it so this is just my "constructive critiscm".

I'm impressed with the fact that you were able to get the entire thing out of the pan when you flipped it. I honestly thought you would struggle more and would wind up having to scrape it out. Not because of a lack of faith in your abilities or anything like that, its just that even from the Tasty video its just astounding that all that stuff didn't get stuck on there. I guess it has something to do with using a cast iron pan. I've never really used them in cooking so I'm merely assuming. Anyway, glad you did this recipe because I had wondered if it would have tasted better than a normal prepared pizza. I got my answer from your efforts! Thank you and best wishes :)

If you're doing a pizza in a cast iron pan, you'd better be making Detroit style deep dish - flat dough (no huge wall of crust), cheese all the way up against the edge, sauce, and toppings. The toasted, crunchy cheese makes it to die for. Otherwise just lay your dough out on a baking sheet, it's fine. Not amazing, but fine.
