Tours change all the time. They have new directors and new stage managers left right and centre that will make drastic changes depending on how quick or slow the show is to set-up and pack down. You'd be surprised!
@@TheNickyTrixShow I've seen the UK tour set and I gotta be honest, This set is really lazy and very bland in this tour in comparison. It just feels cheep which you can't really do with a musical like Shrek, you're not watching some high concept show like the elephant man that doesn't need a large set. It's Shrek. you just need to do more. just what I think.
I love how the Kingdom of Duloc in this version looks more like It’s a Small World from Disneyland (makes sense since Duloc is a parody of Disneyland)
Great!! Why the change in the set? From on top of the castle to the giant feathers?
Noah Alexander, this is the tour version. The whole set needs to be convenient and pack down fast for touring.
Nicky Trix Yes BUT I saw the tour version in 2011, and Farquaad was still atop the castle for the beginning!

MRtoast nobody is disagreeing with you. I’m merely stating the true facts as to why the set is the way that it is.
Who did you also play in this production and can you post a video of that
He was great but no one can replace chris sieber!
