It's kinda weird, to me. It's like this cover encompasses all the rage, betrayal, anger, and deep hurt you have after a bad breakup. Gotye's version has a similar, but also different effect. You feel more of the sadness, the loneliness, the crying and shaking that comes with a bad breakup as well. Brilliant Contrasts of the same deep, emotional hurt.

The first time I realized this was a thing was when I learned Whitney Houston "and I will always love you" was a Dolly Parton song. The two are night and day different, but it's definitely the same song. Realizing this is a thing blew my mind, and really opened up my appreciation for music in a pretty big way.
Wish this version had the woman's part too though, that flip of "hey what's the actual story here?" is probably my favourite part of the song.

Not a big fan of covers BUT this along with Seether's Careless Whispers have changed my mind. Both are amazing an add a depth of emotion not found in the original versions
I used to be a heroin addict (I now have 4 years clean.) this song always reminded of getting high cause the original came out when I was using it was always on. I am loving this new cover. It reminds me of how far I have come from being a POS junkie shooting everything I owned into my arm.

I cant believe even now people are still going on about Matt vs Adam like they're both great. And clearly the band is better for both they each give a great sound to the band and are truly amazing vocalists. I love bkth and can't wait to hear what the bands coming out with next!
Lmfao Adam Gontier is indeed an amazing vocalist, but Matt can't sing for shit. Matt Walst sounds absolutely terrible without autotune and other enhancements. I seen them last year and it was really bad.
