2025 Chevrolet Equinox - Did Chevrolet Make The RIGHT Changes?

The Chevrolet Equinox is all-new for 2025, entering the popular crossover’s fourth generation. A more aggressive and mature look similar to the Traverse is new for 2025, as well as a redesigned cabin with an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster and 11.3-inch infotainment screen. There’s also an updated drivetrain and optional all-wheel drive. Competitors include the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-50, Toyota RAV4, and VW Tiguan.
Three models are offered: LT, RS, and Activ. Only one engine is available: A turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder that produces 175 horsepower. In front-wheel-drive trim it pairs to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and in all-wheel-drive it mates to an 8-speed automatic. Pricing ranges from $30,000 to $40,000.

I would like to see and lets hope a 12v plug in for the front area as people that have dash cams need to plug them in somewhere. Otherwise I am really liking the overhaul inside and out for sure! I don't have an issue with the current Equinox engine and power. It's just fine, but that's just me and I'm sure others too. I do like that Chevy is making more features standard and not just optional ie: heated seats and steering wheel are standard across all 3 trim levels.

Nice overall, but that carryover 1.5L is underpowered trash. 175hp is lame. Just like it was in previous Gen. I get it, not everyone is looking for a rocket ship in this class. I get it, but was 200-220 hp too much to ask? Come on.
