Impressive video and I like the music. Video is fast, can digest better if slower, need to repeat and pause several times. Suggestion: it is more appropriate to have the test valve located at the highest point for venting air.

Excellent and informative video!...I have a few Qs though -
1) What is the need for a Press. Reducing Valve(PRV) as I understand the pump has a built in pressure regulator ?
2)Is it necessary to put the metal length of pipe on the discharge?
3) Is the bypass achieved automatically during power failure?(though gravity)?..meaning no additional hardware required?

Hello sir... Thank you for your response to this video. For the two questions that you have the replies are as follows:
1. The yellow colour kit which is shown in the video is a pressure kit and not a pressure regulator. Th kit's function is to avoid dry run of the pump while a PRV (Pressure relief valve) is to reduce the pressure as per the customer's requirement.
2. The bypass which is given is for the normal flow of water during power failure. No additional work is to be done during power failure as the water will itself flow through gravity. During power failure the pressurized water will not be available whereas the water will flow at normal pressure itself.

I think you only need NRV for the bypass pipes so that during working condition of the pump the water doesn't go back into the tank. The rest is all the same

Can we use this to increase the pressure of water from Borewell to OH tank.We have a jet pump , but the water is treated in softening plant installed on line, which reduces the flow considerably and takes time to fill the tank.

I have crompton 0.5 HP mini cruz II pressure pump with pressure regulator kit and it automatically switches on and off every 1 minute, It runs for 15 secs and then stops. It keeps on repeating. WHat may be the problem and what can be the solution to it. And there is lot of pressure in water. Can i reduce it.

The three pipes have two ball values each with a total of 6 ball valves used in this plumbing circuit. But from what I can see, they serve no purpose because all the three pipes are connected to each other down below where the booster pump is connecting to them. I think the ball values need to come after booster pump outlet is connected. Then only each of the ball valve will be controlling the flow in each of them.
For example, if the three pipes are used to supply water to 3 different bathrooms and if you want to stop water in only one of the bathroom, then with the above connections this is not possible. With the given connection diagram you need to stop water in all the 3 bathrooms. Kindly think about this and make improvements.

Nice fancy impressive graphics WRONG !!! For starters just the vibration of the motor on the inlet side will break those pvc fittings and leak. Should always use a flex on the inlet. Not any old flex a HD stainless steel with pre fab connectors. Ty

Thanks for your enquiry. .This pump is to be installed near over head tank on delivery line to your bathroom as shown in UA-cam video .Nearby the motor pump 15amps plug switch will be kept and it will be kept always on,this part will have to be done by a plumber cum electrician . When you open the tap the pump will automatically runs. after closing the tap motor automatically switch off .
