What if it started with the cat being homeless, and each bringing some food to it, because they can't take it home, and each would come at different times so they don't meet yet, then they notice what the other person gives and so each leaves messages with the cat food so that they communicate, before meeting, and then falling in love and dating and bringing the cat when they can (in a park or something, let's say the cat plays along as a wingman), and then the proposal happens:
Person 1: "So, we've been taking care of *insert cat name here* together for a while now, to the point that it feels to me like if we've known each other for a long time and *cat name* was always with us, but we can't bring it *(or him/her, you decide)* to our respective homes and give it *(/him/her)* the best we could, so I've been wondering, what if it *(/he/she) would have q real home to return to and a loving family?"
Person 2, a bit afraid of what they're imagining atm: " *P1's name*, are you saying that we should try to find its *(/his/her)* family together?"
P1: "No, nothing like that, rather, what if we became its *(/his/her) family instead?"
P2, slowly putting the pieces together, while P1 goes to pick up the cat: "Wait, are you..."
P1, after putting the cat so that both P1 and P2 hold the cat together: " What I'm trying to say is, *P2's name* , will you marry me?"
After the yes, and while they both go for the kiss, the cat gets comfortable in their embrace and purrs loudly in pride of having its job as a wingman done and the prospect of finally getting a proper home. At the wedding, it will stand proudly on a seat next to the priest, presiding over the ceremony as the link that got them together, before it goes to fetch the rings and go back to its place for the rest of the ceremony.
“Competitive seduction” actually sounds like something the main couple in my new fandom (red white and royal blue) would do in canon ngl

I would like to add a tag that isn’t necessarily ship-related and I’ve never seen in the wild but I think should be used more: Platonic tentacle cuddling. Tentacle smut is all well and good, but I think we should explore more uses for tentacles as well.
Oh my eldritch god! Non-sexual tentacle based physical affection sounds awesome. Being wrapped up and restrained in a tentacle but not in a bondage way, more of a weighted blanket comfortable kinda way sounds like it could be nice or at least interesting. Of course the hugs could be awesome. Yes, definitely all the way yes. I might have to write something like this sometime, it’d be hard to convince a reader it’s not for the typical reason people write tentacle stuff though.

I’m currently writing two works, both involving gender non-conforming characters, so it made me think of them. One of them is really fun with their gender expression. They’re completely non-binary, but present as mostly feminine, with a hint of tomboy here and there, and they really like masculine terms (king, boyfriend, brother) being used to describe them

1:31 This reminds me of this little domestic thing I wrote in my sleep that was part of an epilogue type thing after the end of a big fic I had planned. Two of the characters, A and B for simplicity, are living together after the events of the main story, A’s adopted kid calls B dad and when B tries to correct the kid is like “nah, you and my dad are together and I support it, you’re my dad too now.” B is completely caught off guard because he’s not in a relationship with A but he realizes that they’ve basically been in a domestic relationship with A for a long time now and he does really like A. He goes to directly ask A if they’re actually dating and A is like “oh, uh, yea I kinda assumed we were, aren’t we?” B explains how he was oblivious to it but very happy with this realization, and this is quickly follows up by awkwardly proposing since he was planning to but now is uncertain if it’s a good time since B just realized they’re together, but B stutters through a yes and accepts the proposal, and their kid caught it on camera.

Character A is dating Character B, but Character A has an identity crisis and has a social media account for both personas. Character A (as Character C) posts on Character C's account of themselves (as Character A) with Character B and says "I feel like the third-wheel here" when it's literally just the same person

“Deep conversations while ****ing” intrigues me; I’ve read a few smut but mostly skip over a lot of the graphic descriptions and prioritize paying attention to the character details, throwing in some personal and thought provoking dialogue as they do the do would give me something to read as a gloss over whatever I don’t wanna see.

Update: It’s a 254-word PWP Bismuth/Pearl ficlet. I normally don’t like NSFW, but I liked this fic. It was wholesome and focused on the intimacy between the two characters rather than being overly erotic fanservice like most NSFW fics, especially those of the femslash variety.

Nobody does simultaneous divorced, married, and never been in an actual relationship with each other like Kaveh and Alhaitham.
Currently writing a fic that I'm only sharing with friends, but if it had tags, they would be along the lines of "Wholesome proposal fluff and wholesome wedding fluff...if you can ignore the various crimes commited between those two events" or "Who knew wedding planning would include fighting this many hitmen?".
I wanna see more works being tagged with "Im sorry", because it immediatly piques curiosity. What is it you're sorry about, an abomination made from the darkest corners of the internet, or a character dying in another characters' arms? You dont know for sure until you read it
