German Citizenship in 3 Years - Better than USA, Canada, Australia and UK!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 тра 2023
- Germany is making it easier for migrants to become citizens by reducing the minimum residency period for naturalization. The new law would cut the required time from eight to five years, potentially further reduced to three for individuals exhibiting significant integration efforts, such as German language proficiency, exceptional work contributions, or substantial voluntary work.
The draft legislation is expected to be approved in 2023.

I live in Melbourne and can confirm Australia is the best destination for Indians (where you still have good chance to get PR). USA dream is dead as people who don't know, the Green Card is given on the basis of the country where you were born (not the citizenship). And there is a huge queue for Indians (some calculations say more than 20-30 years). So forget it. And don't go to Canada. It's a kinda socialist country with harsh climate and low wages when compared against Australia. As a software engineer, I make 185k AUD plus bonus. My friends in Canada get around 120k. Now considering you and your spouse both work, the difference is huge. Canada won't let you get rich. You will live a comfortable life, but forget owning multiple cars and decent house at this point in time. My problem with European countries is with the language and low wages again. It's good to visit and all, but don't want to settle in. Australia is as close to USA as it gets. I lived in US, UK for many years and visited Canada and most of the European countries. These are words of wisdom right there haha
Thanks
can i have your linkdin or instaid ?
I want to ask something about australia
Hey u are on LinkedIn?
Hai are you in LinkedIn..
@@tushargupta5617 jayvardhanprajapat
Could you please share me your LinkedIn id. I had few questions.
One thing you're not taking into account is the slow German bureaucracy that will effectively take couple years more to process your citizenship application
What about PR application? How long does it take to process that?
It's not that slow, it might add a couple of months but that's all
@@meetimian3383took me like 2 years lol
Germany is going to be very bullish on immigration atleast for the next 5 years. They need foreign born workers to solve the demographic challenges.
Or the government could give the money that they’ve been giving to those refugees to families to get more babys
Language is trash
@@Momoa786 Except that the birth rates are falling for native Germany. The pension & health insurance of retired Germans are funded by working age population. This would mean that the German economy will go bankrupt if either the birth rates aren't improved or if the retired Germans don't die sooner. This is why Germany is keen to attract immigrants because the entire German economy is driven by benefits.
@@Momoa786 "what should be encouraged is native Germans having more children"
This was already tried for several decades with no result as in the rest of Europe & Japan. Falling birthrates is a global trend in countries with low child mortality rates, higher female education levels & an industrialised economy. May be the German government can force their girls to drop out of school & get them married by 18 as is the practice in third world countries with booming population. Besides this, the Germans can restart subsistence agriculture & ban farm machinery . This would force many German farming familes to make more babies & use them as farm workers as in most third world countries with higher birth rates. lol 😂
you'd think that's the case
Hey Bharat. Thanks for such an informative video. I have a question and would be great if you could answer it.
" I am 36 Years old now and carrying 11 Years of experience in IT sales and marketing. Recently I decided to move to Devops engineer role from last 1 year. Do uij think due to recent move to devops and age of 36 Years will make it difficult to get a job in germany from India?.
I am also planning to learn german B1 and B2 LEVELS.
Please reply.
Get German citizenship after the PR or when we go to Germany either a work visa or a business/entrepreneur visa?
Some people who are here with degrees and work experience from abroad dont get jobs because the system is different here. They want people to do their education here mostly according to their system. Most jobs need apprenticeships unless u re in tech maybe thats more high demand than anything else
Only biggest hurdle is german language and there is no survival without it..
I tried to learn it and its actually difficult ...
It depends on where you are coming from. If you speak English, it's in the second difficulty group. Meaning it's more difficult than Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish and so on but not as difficult as most other languages. I believe it's ranked on the same level as Indonesian, which is manageable
German is easy to learn if you already speak English!
Thanks for this information! Please 🙏 mention salary how much I need after master program. I’m doing my master in logistic and supply chain but I’m scared about my salary package? How much I need in month or yearly to ask my work visa after study!
Thanks bharat for info. But just to add if one has a german spouse and has full time job as skilled worker like hospitals with B2 , he will be qualified for german citizenship really fast than other potential immigrants.
Is the three year rules mentioned in the draft applicable for the duration from studies, or from blue card or from PR ?
Following.
Germany visa process is not just there yet. My daughter in law is waiting 4 months after document submission for family reunion visa. 😢 German govt. makes all these announcements but no action on the ground, they dont seem to be serious
Canadian citizenship does not require 5 years, it requires 3 years of residency (1095 days). The 5 years is included there because Canada counts time spent in Canada before you were a PR as part of fulfilling the physical presence requirement. Effectively, they will consider the last 5 years in Canada, even though for 3 of those years you were here as a student or under another visa.
Is it all three conditions? What is accepted as a proof of good integration or volunteering?
Hello, I have a question. When will my eligibility for obtaining PR/Citizenship be considered? Is it right after I arrive in 🇩🇪 as a student or after graduating and securing a job?
I look forward to your response.
Same question 😢
bro after living in Germany for 5 years and study years are not included
Deleting comments 😂 freedom of speech in Germany 🇩🇪 Yes
Its his yt acc he can delete comments like he wants
Its good that german citizenship is now so cheap! But here is my overview.
I came to Germany in 2019. I love it. People here are super nice and super friendly. The system is super fair. But language is not fair at all. It is for some people super easy to learn but for some is super hard to learn. For me, language learning has never been easy. I remember my struggle with learning English when I was a kid. With studies in head, trying to finance the studies, its super hard to find time for learning the language as well. So if you plan to come to germany, its advisable that you first learn german atleast till B2 level. Because then you can easily find a high paying job. But otherwise, Germany is really nice place to live and people are very friendly here (if your friends making skills are good).
genders for objects in german is confusing.
We dont have that in tamil.
Why should any object be gendered?
@@bharath2508 that's language. we shouldn't make fun of any language because every language has its own way of being there. Hindi also has genders, lly many other languages
What is the best way to come to Germany? Student visa or freelancer visa ? I am a 23 year old freelance web designer and I make good money ( more than the visa requirements)
@@Momoa786 it will still be better than India.
Germans are friendly...lol that cracked me up!
Hi, do you know by any chance whether they will count the studentship years or not ?. Means, i was a student for 3 years and now doing a full time job so in my case will they count my 3 years as well ?
I think they count half the time. So in ur case 1.5 yrs towards the pr
Did you get the answer to this question? Are there any sources? I couldn't find any
Hi. Currently I'm pursuing Bsc in Hospitality Management I'm in the last year right bow. I have question when it comes to hospitality courses and job in Germany what would you like to say..
How does 🇩🇪 fare when it comes to racism against Indians in comparison to the anglosphere countries?
It is less than in India itself
racism is everywhere its upon you how you deal with it , if you talk about racism in germany, racism is very less then India.
Germans are nicest people, the turkish , polish and other Easter European countries immigrants are rude .
Depends on person to person... there are already many Indians living here peacefully
Germany is most racist country in Europe. Read about WW2.
Unfortunately with long wait lists in Kitas/no place and other long queues in many Hospitals/Doctors etc its "not" that attractive it seems. Real life struggles says otherwise. However i agree barring these issues its better than US/CAN.
can you share the link for german talk master program. I would like to explore it.
Within in 3 years of studying German > You will be able to speak the language without any problems.
brother please when we get work contract we go to auslanderberu apply for temporary resident it doesnt matter if there is probezeit 6 month or i work with normal visa untill 6 month of probezeit finsh than i can have my work residence ??
Just 3 years in Germany? No. The last time I checked, it was 5-8 years minimum for German residency.
Should someone have exceptional achievement in school or whatever AND have c1 level and financial independence? Or is OR?
I have c1 and financial independence but not special achievement.
Does it qualify me for 3 years citizenship?
Hi, where is the link related to the rules that you said you'd share ?
It's truly the best time to move to Germany!
What about our parents? Can we sponsor them and bring them with us in Germany?
Hey Bharat, can you post the link for this new draft.

I’m always confused with these rules,
What if they change the rules before you complete your 3years? I mean 2 months before the government changes and they would bring 5 years then?

No.

What do you mean? What issues?
You probably missed that now 1 year is being taken for PR as well or if your blue card is valid for next 2 years, some cities also say come after that time
Is studying time counted in those years for international students?
@@Random.sachen1 can you please clarify years towards what exactly?
@@safwanwarind years towards citizenship
What do you know about the AFRIKA KOMMT german program?
what is the link to the complete draft please?
It depends if 3 or 5 years are calculated from the issuing date of PR (Niederlassungserlaubnis) or from the time one landed in Germany or started contributing in tax? Also, after this law is implemented, how German system handles the load. Step is right direction, much better than 8 years and other countries.
Full time job / full payments in the social contributions, pension fund and taxes

@@imshikhararora so this means the study time is not counted?
@@BharatinGermany you mean when int students finish their studies and start working (full time) after three years, they can apply for citizenship???

At 4:59 he says `German-Taught Master's program` and I think he went through the DAAD exchange program. Once he finished the german taught master's program he didn't need any language proficiency test.
Hi Aryan,
I am talking about programs with German as the medium of instruction.
Thanks @BharatInGermany for the detailed video.

You have not mentioned France!! Only 2 years if you have higher education there during stay there (e.g. Masters Degree, when you bring Bachelor from overseas)
First time, I heard from "foreigners" about something related to German bureaucracy, that is called "simple".
But at least once!
We are working on less bureaucracy.
Is this for studdeent viusa or work visa?
German citizenship is worst, we cant call our parents permanently, only tourist cisa for 3 months which any one can have.
Does the time during student count for the required years for naturalisation ?
it counts only half. e.g. you needed 5 years for the diploma, then it counts only 2,5 years for the ABH in naturalization matters.
@@SurveillanceSystemare you sure about this? Do you know of any sources? I couldn't find any
For the UK is 6 years actually, because it's 5 years for ILR + 1 year on ILR to get citizenship. Canada is not too bad, I believe for people speaking French it is possible in 4 years. Defintiely the best option out of these will probably be Germany. Personally I will pursue getting Spanish because I come from a Spanish speaking country, so the process is faster.
What kind of skill & education qualifications are requiring for permanent citizenship & job in Germany 🇩🇪 and other European countries Like UK🇬🇧

My sister has been waiting for her applied (in process) German nationality for ages. 2 years of processing time after 6 years in Germany with C1 language in hand, and she has also studied her university in German, so please stop fooling people.
2 year masters + 1 year work = citizenship
2 years masters + 3 year work = citizenship
Which is the correct process??
It is still open for discussion, It can still be rejected, Just a possibility, voting is still left.
Germany has entered recession and the reason is Coz of Supporting US and Ukraine .... Like their politcians are going to let their country suffer but they will still keep Supporting another country....my only concern is If IT affects me as a Student studying there in that period....are the Citizens Not raising their voice against the government? Why do they keep themselves aligh with US without caring about their own country goodwill
You seem to be riddled in yourself. If you think of studying in Germany as student you shouldn't be worried about which country Germany is supporting or from which country Germany is allied to. The policy makers forecast the good and bad sides of a situation before coming to a decision.
It's totally upto you which country you are finding better to study, if you find Russia better, go for Russia, making lame excuses that you are afraid for Germany supporting Ukraine and it's economy is in recession makes very less sense, Germany still 4th largest economy, have higher per capita income, better work life balance, peace, no religious and political nonsense, people respect each other opinion, better environment, travel opportunities, better labour laws, one of the strongest passport, and many more things.
Well if you say that I like Germany because of it's education system and immigration policy, but hates Germany becoz its supporting Ukraine, then it's totally your viewpoint and I won't comment on that, but the fact is Germany is still 2nd most desired destination for immigration after US, they managed this type of situation since Feb 2022, and definitely they will finally compensate all misdoings, but definitely Germany going into recession doesn't make German people poor, Germany is still one of the richest countries in per capita and other fields and German people (as far as I know) is excelled people from various fields.
@@satyam5075 Hey i dont Hate Germany, i Love that place its really beautiful and way cleaner than india.... i'm definitely going there for studies but you cant Just ignore the war Thing so that Makes you an ignorant Person....everything Matters and im Sure Most of the Citizens are Not in favour of Germany openly supplying arms and weapons to Ukraine and wasting its Money in war that will never BE won..... try to think IT more practically dude
@@Juststayhopeful The point is, if countries start having a mentality of not supporting each other, then Russia can attack other countries after they finish off Ukraine. And that country could even be Germany. Unity is strength
What about our parents? Can we sponsor them and bring them with us in Germany?
@@souravsuresh2766 your point lacks research... Russia attacked Ukraine it's because of the fault of that comedian who's a US puppet and wants to be a nato member and directly threatening Russia...any country would be offended if it's enemy is on its border ...for Russia it's US ...think more and say

Isn't Germany in recession right now ? How is the market for software engineers right now?

Volkswagen is looking for Software engineers
What about United Kingdom ?
UK is also in recession! High inflation and political unstable 😊
biggest genetical problem of germany is the language barrier. I think germany has become dumpyard of asylum and refugee beggars. instead of skilled and highly educated people. Correct me if i am wrong
Germany is doing for a reason right now there is a shortage of labour after 4-5 years (max) laws will be changed
Italy and spain will reduce the duration cuz there population is declining fast 😊

Noooo
They need to show proof of language proficiency n be tax payers in the country.
No. Parents are not considered immediate family but you can get a long-term visit visa for them through the immigration office.
no in italy canada usa its possible
That's the biggest problem for me if I can't settle my parents. They're my top priority and despite getting German nationality if one can't even bring their parents, it's useless!

it is not easy to convince people to come to germany because of the fear of the language and the other stereotypes germany also is not an easy country to develop and the problem is political now the gouvernement is open to foreigners and the opposition is playing very very hard to stop that with such parties like CDU and AFD it is not easy to pass laws

what you do not know is that german citizenship is the worse of all the other countries you mentioned. It is good for illegal migrants who get everything they need and much more than the average lower income german worker but not for hard working skilled people. Not only skilled and qualified people have to pay high taxes and bear the brunt of the costs to support the non working asylum seekers but also the costs of the lazier ones who prefer not to take up jobs as the Bürger Geld is higher than their net salary. Secondly Germany taxes on global income so if you have any property or income in foreign countries this needs to be shown in your tax returns. Thirdly once you take a german citizenship it is difficult to renounce the same. Gemany does not allow dual nationality so to renounce a german citizenship you need to pay a tax which is now being increased due to the declining population.
Wish they issue APS certificates quicker....

Main problem is learning German!
Just because it gives 3 years for residency. The kind of people germany want everyone accepts them else where as well. I think you're paid by the german govt to advertise germany as a place for skilled workers
Why you give false information to your audience ? This is not approved yet there is argument between political parties because in this case lots of people will come to Germany
Pointing system.
Australia is not a good option.
German is just gibberish to me. The rest of the countries in the list don't have the language problems. Yes Ireland being in close proximity to the UK has very high percentage of English speakers. You can make a living without learning Irish which his not the case for Germany.
Don't get me wrong. I love Germany and am still considering it as an option. If the language wasn't an issue then it certainly holds #1 position in this list. I'm not complaining or anything, just stating facts.
Another point I'd like to mention is that you cannot get as friendly and close to Germans as you can with the citizens of these other countries. This is something I have seen you mentioning in your videos as well stating that Germans keep their distance. Your life becomes lonley and you lack friends outside of people from your own country in Germany which is not good because you have to make connections with Germans right from the beginning to have a bright future there.
You are absolutely right about the German passport strength. But the difference in the number of countries a German and an American/Canadian/Australian can enter with their respective passports is very minor. What I mean is that both Germans and these other countries passport holders can enter in the major countries you can think of without any discrimination. The difference is minor.
What other countries are you considering besides Germany?
