I'm loving these matches, but the fact that there are fairly clear tiers in terms of skill level (Aggy, Chris, Tom, Bushy, CBD, Blanxz /adef & parky/ vswed and GPB) makes the outcomes of a lot of these matches fairly easy to predict
@@Falcontf It's not unusual in some sports and especially in casual competitions to give a player an advantage or disadvantage to even the playing field, e.g. handicap rankings in golf. In bingo I think you could implement a system of putting a delay on the better player's start, or maybe giving them less starting runes, both of which can be done proportional to the gap in skill level. But it would be a tremendous pain in the arse to get balanced, and I'm not going to argue it's a sensible approach to actually take here given the complexity/randomness of the game and limited ability to test and refine it
Ah, a tough but interesting match. Since Chris' progression showed no ADM, I had really hoped swed would have went through some of the collection squares to apply some scattered pressure by shifting to forges, bloodfiend, sorceries or Lightning Ram and maybe using a ghostflame dragon + jagged peak drake for 3 dragon bosses while making progress to Bayle. When there was a push for Rellana I think taking on Gaius for hitless alongside existing map progression could have then contested Scadu 10. Looking at the scoreboard, Chris has NEVER taken a line this season but has the highest square count by a healthy margin; despite his love for Bayle, it didn't benefit him to actually take the path to the boss at all It's easy to think this way when we see both screens. I think swed went with his gut a lot which is great board reading, but Chris' speed and consistency can be so devastating and he doesn't seem to fear having low scadu if a square is valuable. I'm guessing he finds it easier to be in the right position after dodging Gaius' phase 2 attacks if he's in medium roll rather than getting the extra distance from light roll.
I hate light load lmao, I only don't put armor on earlier in the fight after the first dodge since I don't have time to do so, and the phase transition is the only moment where I get time to do it. I'm just used to medium load and prefer it over light load in 99% of situations
@@star0chris I figured the reason you didn't do it before the fight was because you preferred light load to dodge the charge. (Maybe that's what you said I'm having a hard time understanding if you saying "I only don't put armor on earlier in the fight after the first dodge" means you purposefully don't put it on until after the first dodge or if you mean you don't wanna waste time putting it on before entering the fog wall)

I think it will be cool to have entry league so that new bingo player can play against opponents at similar level, but that comes into the issue of needing double the amount of players, a lot more maintaince, when can beginners advance to normal league etc
@@mariano2378Grandpoobear had played elden ring like twice before the dlc came out , there are so many better ways to gain experience than to have him in a league with players who have 2k+ hours in the game
