The extent of their interactions seems to be staying on stage when BTS wins at award shows, meeting for the first time in the Bangtan Bomb where they briefly ate pretzels with BTS, then again before their US tour to ask for advice in their One Dream show and most recently they attended a BTS concert in Chicago and met them backstage. They have barely met at all so it's a fair question for the interviewer to ask.
