Mage's Passive is a insane boon to stay in Dungeons for very long times. If you have Mage on the MC and kill enemies in overworld combat instead of turn based, you regain Mana. Which you can loop to inifinitly stay and farm a DNG or deep dive it all at once.
@@RallForeman THATS INSANE!!! I didn't know that perk existed!!! This game heavily relies on MP for fighting, so knowing that you can get it back without items is legit!!!
The leveling system is more similar to SMT than to Persona, so you will probably be able to farm incenses and other stat-boosting items in the late game. This may be a bit tedious, but should mean that you can “fix” any mistakes you made in your build during the course of the game (i.e. have a magic build but want to pivot to a strength one). Also, even if your protagonist has a strength build, I recommend having mage on him since the hero-specific passive of healing SP by stunning and beating enemies on the overworld is by far the best one and can help a lot to be better prepared for bosses and depend less on consumables (as you can always use the healing skills of the protag and hulkenberg to heal your HP and then simply defeat more enemies to heal the SP).
I believe I picked up a couple stat boosters, so I'll have to remember this, and yes, that mage passive is insane and a must-have on every playthrough!!!
"You won't be able to beat the dungeon boss unless you grind" I beat it on hard and I skipped half the goblin fights, was avg level 10. It just takes smart use of the knight synthesis skills to nullify phys damage, and use the back row for people who aren't protected, and likely some mp/health items. It was really satisfying seeing how much strategy potential there was even so early. You should encourage people to try clear dungeons in one go since it gives you more daily time.
I didn't know until I posted this video how, if you truly understand the combat system, you can conquer many high-level fights!!! I love games that are like this!!! Also, I agree with you that it's better to do the dungeon in one go. That's what I did with Persona 5, haha

By planning ahead, he means reading a guide on what activities to do. Unless P5 is way diff the 3 and 4 there’s no way to plan a perfect run through the year.
This game is actually pretty forgiving, so you don't need to read a guide to be able to get everything done as long as you just plan ahead by using your own head :)
@@dos_feratu I bet you maxed out Kingdom Hearts level on Destiny Island, haha I like the grind too, because it feels rewarding when you are several levels ahead of the enemies and you just dominate, haha
If You’re familiar with previous JRPG’s especially those from ATLUS, The grinding in the demo is nothing but a grain of salt. With 40 different archetypes, the cost of crossing abilities, upgrading gear multiplied by the amount of party members we have yet to encounter, “maxing out the demo” meant you’re preparing for a start.
so what do you think, is it better to focus on conversations with companions first or do other activities... and during conversations or activities do we have something like in persona 5, i.e. musical notes, the better the conversation, the more points you get... I ask because I haven't played the demo and I'm trying to learn as little about this game as possible to have as much fun during the premiere
This is a great and difficult question haha This might be a copout answer, but it is a balance based on what is needed at the moment. For example: If you need to unlock a quest by raising your virtues, then I'd recommend doing that first, but then once you have met all the virtue requirements, probably spend a few days talking to allies, followed by doing a 1 for 1. For the most part, by the end of Persona 5 Royal, I had all my traits maxed out with plenty of time to spare. As long as you aren't spending an entire 10 days doing 1 activity, you'll be fine. Each time you raise a virtue a level, it takes more experience to get it to level 3, so maybe wait until there's a more rewarding activity later in the game and concentrate on the level 1 virtues. To answer your other question about what I've noticed with the musical notes, yes, they do give you more or less based on your answers. Sorry for the huge rant haha
@@Gamendx thank you, if there are some differences then maybe the grind might not be worth doing till we get the full game, looking forward to playing it
Yeah. It's very tedious, but once you max 3 archetypes, any excess experience past level 20 gets converted into an item that grants 1000 Archetype experience to whatever one you want. Makes farming the grind a lot easier.
@@Arkos_Sloth Realllyyy very tedious. Nothing gives that much exp anymore after you've beaten the eggs. I even tried keeping the two spawning crystals alive and farm the never ending spawns. Will still take a long while.
