If he was expecting a tech roll in he likely would've just dashdanced out of Fox's getup attack range and reacted to it instead of emptyhopping, plus Fox can get a lot more off of CCing a Marth fsmash at that percent (shine>upsmash, upthrow>upair, you name it). He _could've_ just shielded it but M2K made it seem like he would go for another grab after the emptyhop.

m2k is hands down my favorite smash player of all time. Right now the community is in limbo. One thing this community has had more than any other gaming community is character. I don’t mean that in a “these players have better character,” but that we got to know the gods, and the other players at the top and throughout the ranks. We felt these guys were our friends. A lot of that feeling has been shattered as of late; however, Jason is pure. He’s a god of the game, but he’s also the heart and soul. This community is not dead. The person that threw the false allegations against this man out there should be ashamed of themselves. Especially for making Jason have to respond the way he did. It makes me sad and angry. Those players we looked up to that have been terrible people, and have done shitty things, sure, they deserve it, but m2k did not. If we lose m2k, the entire smash community will die. For now, we have the king, we will be stronger than ever

I almost clicked off this video cuz M2K was playing kinda rough at the beginning and I didn't want to see him lose like that. I'm glad I stayed though, good job M2K
M2K may be known for abusing ledge but at the end there on his last stock you could really see M2K using his time to think and cool down which helped him to make that comeback both waiting on the angel platform and on the ledge while he was at 90% Take your time.
