I work with stained glass, but absolutely love all my glass makers, designers all of it! Every time I tell someone I work with stained glass I always get "wow, thats a lost art" and it kind of leaves me dumbfounded. Not lost at all to me or those who commission me to do work! 😉😆 Thank you for the video!
But? Any fool can do stained glass proper glass blowing is something close to wizardry. My moms friend does stained glass so I've got some experience. It's not difficult lol
@@jessee7334 anyone can blow glass too, it just takes practice. Stained glass is still an art, takes a lot of patience and skill to get perfect. Don't be a dick to fellow artists, especially in this tiny lil community.
i cant thank you guys enough for what you do with all of this brilliantly filmed content, creating a treasure trove of glass information paving the way for generations of glassblowers to come, myself included. your passion spills out of all your work and it is very inspiring, thank you torch talk -donjah glass
Sometimes the most important part of the piece is the glass that gets pulled away..if you make your sections to small or close to the exact shape then you risk the chance of leaving clear at the end
