@@RenewedRS First of all, roles are assigned randomly - Ben didn't *give* her Damsel, she just got it by chance. However, what *isn't* assigned randomly is how misfires happen - that is decided by the Storytellers. And it's precisely because Carely got the Damsel that Ben and Tom choose to have her ping as evil to Issac. In addition, she was not "provably good", she was just "provably the Damsel". Issac was actually the Drunk, not the Bounty Hunter, but if Issac *wasn't* Drunk, then one role that is normally good would have been aligned for evil instead.
@@Ruminations09 FiRsT oF aLl you're just leaving out the part where the ST decides the Damsel's new Townsfolk role? Ben and Adam have said that they've handcrafted games around a certain player being a certain character at times in this series so your entire comment was without substance.
@@RenewedRS Oh, you're complaining that she was given Snake Charmer, not that she was given Damsel? Well that's easy to address: she was given Snake Charmer because 3 different players had already expressed suspicion that she was the Snake Charmer (Issac, Adam, and Jon). In fact, Adam hard-accused Carley of being the Snake Charmer. For the Storytellers to choose anyone else EXCEPT Snake Charmer would have completely given the game away. Also, I have no idea what you're talking about with that second sentence. They do choose who the Good Twin is in games where there's an Evil Twin and they have talked about how they intentionally choose the Good Twin to be someone who would pair well with the Evil Twin, so maybe you misunderstood that as them saying they select the roles themselves for the players? Cause otherwise I have no idea what you're talking about.
Holy hell, what a game, what twists, what plays. And Carly cements herself as the G.O.A.T. of NRB BotC and someone that will never be trusted again. Bravo everyone.

And then later, the fact that everyone kept saying "Carley is guaranteed good because she's the Damsel" and entirely forgetting that the whole point of a Damesel is to change roles... holy shit, this game 😂
I respect Dakota immensely for actually engaging with madness and not just being IM THE THING IVE ALWAYS BEEN THE THING IM A THING GUYS THE THING IS WHAT I AM.
@@GerritCoulter eh, it’s hardly always. Her NRByt BotC record is 9-3. Only slightly better than Adam (9-4) and Jon (9-5) and not as good as Sully (10-3). It’s honestly pretty balanced considering how good she is at it.
As good as she is, I think some of the performance and outcome of this game, to some degree, can be explained by a bit inexperience in the other members for this particular script. It's just a lot of characters, plays and rules to take in, and everyone is doing far better than I ever would. Great show nonetheless, I hope everyone enjoys playing it too.
@@preppen78 I agree. And I think in this game especially, Carley should have lost. She did not immediately tell Angela her new role, despite Angela being 100% confirmed Huntsman after Carley changed. That should have raised a yellow flag if Angela were more experienced. Worse, Angela even casually mentioned it to the group and no-one picked up on that. Also, Carley mentioned that she did not want to turn Evil - but in a little monster game, there is little incentive to snake charm until the final night, unless you want to turn Evil. As previous snake charm information is immediately outdated.
I am in stitches. Oh my god! Carley going from a possible downfall of the good team to spearheading the evil teams victory. Poor Blair almost getting a one of a kind day 1 good victory except for a blind poisoning by Jon.
That was the greatest game I've ever seen. Great script. When Angela and Carley realised, me and my wife jumped off the sofa, screamed and hugged. IT. WAS. EPIC!!!!
@@GnarlyCarleyGaming This has all the makings of a torrid Greek tragedy as Baby Jon eventually grows up & destroys his mother before the cycle begins again
Just watched this--how did it never cross anyone's mind that Carley could've turned into the Snake Charmer from the Damsel ability and hit Jon? Just an example of the town becoming railroaded on a particular worldview and not chasing down all leads. In any event, a great episode.
It was really funny when Dakota said “we don’t win this on information anymore” when all the information they needed was staring them in the face. If they listened to Isaac, Carley should’ve died, and if they realized he was drunk and Luke wasn’t, Carley still should’ve died because Luke’s empath makes it clear that Carley’s the new evil. They just didn’t consider their options well enough.
@@meko750 I think the nail in the coffin was that the Luke himself was sowing doubt about his own information to everyone else. He was so convinced he was drunk that he told everyone not to listen to him, setting him up as unreliable if he's good, and also setting him up as a potential bad guy trying to hide behind a drunk claim. From our perspective knowing everything, it feels like it should be obvious to investigate all leads, but to them the case was all but solved.
It probably would have eventually, but they chased down what they thought were more probable leads first. For her to have been evil they would’ve had to be able to confirm which nights the empath were poisoned, that the drunk, bounty hunter who should be wrong was actually right, and that Carly sniped the demon in a single round. Not impossible to figure out as they did have all the information they needed, but much harder to source through, then the empath claiming drunk or the actually drunk bounty Hunter that conflicts with everyone.
@@pinacosaure It feels like a few people never realized the Damsel changes to a new character. Carlie even mentioned that, but no one questioned her amnesiac claim. @@Moleoflands Well actually, Sully shouldn't have been mad in the first place. Since a new Vigormortis came into play (And the snake charmer swap does count as a new demon), all effects of the previous one would've been gone, so Carley wouldn't have been able to make Sully mad.

I keep coming back to this video. Thank you all for the entertainment, thank you TPI for the fantastic game, and thank you Clocktower community for somehow being even more fantastic than the game.
Oooooooh yes, here we go! EDIT: Wow, I really don't want to spoil anything, but that was well worth the wait. Everyone did really well, some really heartwarming moments & utterly devastating betrayals, marvellously astute deductions & magnificent leaps of faith. What a roller-coaster, & a round of applause for the storytellers keeping everything from going off the rails as such a complex script so easily could.
Carley once again proving that she is truly incredible at this game. She had everyone so bamboozled that they barely questioned her at all with her amnesiac claim, even though like she said there were clues that she was lying plus the good team forgot/didn't figure out that she could have easily changed into the snakecharmer. Such a rollercoaster of emotions in this game. The good team had it in their grasp and yet they were their undoing. 😅 Loved this custom script, a well deserved winner, and hope that they play it again in the future. Also awesome to see Dakota on the team! 😊 She was a great experienced player that like Carley has useful insight into the game and its roles.
That was the greatest game of Blood on the Clocktower I have ever witnessed! So many crazy plays and good gambles and tiny chances and great picks! What an amazing script and an absolutely INSANE game! I loved every moment of this video.
When I watched the script reveal, I was terrified of the possibilities. But never in my wildest fever-dreams could I have imagined such an irresistible thrill-ride as this game turned out to be. Seemingly terrible decisions rescued with moments of accidental genius. The twists and betrayals. The emotions. Epic seems woefully inadequate, but I simply can't find a better word to describe what you wonderful maniacs have created here together. Thank you.
What really annoys me is that Isaac who has played as the amnesiac before didn't pick up on Carley lying, because you have to guess your ability during the day, not during night
@@arthursimsa9005 I disagree. She was the focal point of the narrative that deflected from her, pinned Issac, and pitted Luke and Dakota against each other. Aside from that, the group had all the information they needed in order to sus out that Carley was the new demon. She was able to construct a perfectly convincing narrative (despite some fairly large plot holes) that everyone accepted right away. She even said that she has changed roles while the group was looking for someone who changed roles. Adam said it best, by that point, it was all on Carley.
Lol even though it didn’t end up affecting the rest of the game all that much, her play to stay mad as the philosopher while also implanting the idea in sully’s head that that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t trust her was a bit of underrated genius ngl
Finally played a Blood on the Clock Tower game on the unofficial discord. It was so fun. I was a slayer and I didnt know what character to bluff as because it was my first game. So an evil tried to vote me, I used my power, and was able to confirm one player as not the demon. Which the player became one of the last 3 players left. "I'm an innocent, single parent" The best line in context, nothing is topping that!
And just wow, Carley is amazing again! You know what, I take back the 'wow', it's just common knowledge at this point 🤷♂️
She's already the best player, don't know why Ben gave her such a lay up. Provably Good, turned Snake Charmer, turned Demon. Impossible to lose.
@@Ruminations09 you're the only one complaining here lol I'm not reading that wall of text either
Shoutout to Big Daddy Ben for running excellent games (throughout the series) and for keeping track of everything. He’s the MVP
47:50 legit cheered for this convo, that was so tense. Carley and Angela showing out with the wrinklebrain social reads.
Holy hell, what a game, what twists, what plays. And Carly cements herself as the G.O.A.T. of NRB BotC and someone that will never be trusted again. Bravo everyone.
Rule 1: if you're in a Fang Gu game with Ben, they'll be the demon in the final 3
Rule 2: if you're in a game with Carly, she's evil
@@ykl1277 which episode or where Is the fang gu game?
Carley decided this game to prove how good she is by not even needing to talk to John to play him like a fiddle!
Yet again another treat of a game, hope these never end!:)
Yeah absolute masterclass from Carley, what a genius!
The most beautiful mess I've ever witnessed.
A car crash in slow motion that gave life to my soul for 3 hours. What a treat! Well played Carly! Well done Adam too for standing back and letting the chips fall where they fall
Adam convincing Dom to do Jack Shite was a lovely talk...
If winning the game means I have to trust that Carley can carry the day against all odds, that's a bet I'll take every time.
This is a Carley stan account. 3 hours of absolute madness and chaos. Loved every single second of it.
We should make a fan club
Holy shit. There was a point midgame where Adam could have 100% used what Dakota told him to make a cogent, three-level, supported argument for executing Dom when he didn't have the baby, and basically won the game there. And then later, the fact that everyone kept saying "Carley is guaranteed good because she's the Damsel" and entirely forgetting that the whole point of a Damesel is to change roles... holy shit, this game 😂
holy shit the moment carley and angela realise that angela is the huntsmen to carley's damsel... more joy than a pixar film.
This was one of the most epic games PERIOD, wow, what a treat
We have to see a second round of this script. This was easily the best game of Clocktower I’ve ever seen
I respect Dakota immensely for actually engaging with madness and not just being IM THE THING IVE ALWAYS BEEN THE THING IM A THING GUYS THE THING IS WHAT I AM.
Madness is my favorite mechanic
Carley winning what was basically a 1vs8 game is possibly the top No Rolls Barred moment ever
I love Carly, but NGL she's a little OP at Blood on the Clocktower. Her team ALWAYS wins, and its usually mostly because of her.
@@GerritCoulter eh, it’s hardly always.
Her NRByt BotC record is 9-3. Only slightly better than Adam (9-4) and Jon (9-5) and not as good as Sully (10-3).
It’s honestly pretty balanced considering how good she is at it.
@@TURNABOUT_FITNESS yeah she lost 2 out of 4 in s & v and lost as the demon in BMR
For once Carley and John never spoke, but were so connected in the end
"We're just three townsfolk, hanging out" - says the townsfolk to an outsider and a minion.
I am in stitches. Oh my god! Carley going from a possible downfall of the good team to spearheading the evil teams victory. Poor Blair almost getting a one of a kind day 1 good victory except for a blind poisoning by Jon.
Aren't they technically the same thing?
She got really lucky that they forgot Damsel actually change roles.
@@BlueWoWTaylan Not only that, but they 100% believed her when she said which role she became, ignoring that Snake Charmer was a possibility.
That was the greatest game I've ever seen. Great script. When Angela and Carley realised, me and my wife jumped off the sofa, screamed and hugged. IT. WAS. EPIC!!!!
can we also not forget that on carleys roll it was for adam jon dom and sully... she already had the enemy team sussed out
Late ik but it was adam isaac jon and dom, jon was 3rd in row

This was by far the craziest, and most entertaining episode so far! Carley has been MVP every game she is in!
Feels like no one actually reads the scripts sometimes not gonna lie.
Luke's reading of 1 just when Carlie's new role had a chance to act was so telling, but Luke never thought about that option because he was convinced Carlie was still the Damsel I think.
Easily the best BOTC episode they’ve ever done (have been watching chronologically). Just fantastic.
That was the most entertaining game so far! I completely forgot Blair was poisoned round 1 and was convinced we were getting a two game video.
That first day whisper between Dakota and Sully was a beautiful thing to behold. Dakota’s Brooke impression on point.
I've made a ranking of all BoTC episodes, and this one was the best one. Everything great about this series in one video. A combination of tactics, wild plays, insane luck and some hilarious bits

This is probably my favorite Clocktower game. All of them have been fantastic, but the intricacies of this game make it killer. Multiple different win conditions for both teams, random lucky shots all over the board. Several times I was out of my seat in excitement, screaming because of how killer some of the plays were. I absolutely adore Clocktower, and this game shows me all of the best parts of it. Can't wait to run some games myself one day.

Merry Christmas to everyone - to everyone at No Rolls Barred, to 'Daddy Ben', and to everyone watching - and I think that this is very much my favourite episode of Blood On The Clocktower, with the May 25th version (hopefully that's the one were Sully turned good on the last turn via Issac) being joint favourite as well. Keep up the amazing work!
The only thing I didn't like about that one was that Sully should have been killed by madness instead of winning
Common thread being big plays by Carley. That blind Cerenovus play was so spot on, and in this one, well, just wow.
@@Moleoflands Well actually, Sully shouldn't have been mad in the first place. Since a new Vigormortis came into play (And the snake charmer swap does count as a new demon), all effects of the previous one would've been gone, so Carley wouldn't have been able to make Sully mad.

What a Christmas Day gift, nothing like absolute betrayal to get into the holiday spirit
To whomever submitted this script, I really hope you feel justified with all the chaos! What a game!!
I almost always want the good team to win, but you just can't want that with how Carley played. I am speechless!
“That’s quite rare, that people figure out what demon is in play, that quickly” says Ben … at just under 2 hours into the video. 😂

Can't believe they never questioed Carley when they knew the Damsel changes roles lol.
Right? Or did they just kind of forget that happens or something.
What really annoys me is that Isaac who has played as the amnesiac before didn't pick up on Carley lying, because you have to guess your ability during the day, not during night

Carley's ability to turn a bad situation into a win is legitimately terrifying.
She barely did anything though.
