What style do you like to decorate with for fall?
Loved the yellow flowered plates!
I love mugs, quirky and different kinds of mugs.
Love the copper. And banged up copper just shows that it was used alot. I have my great grandmothers copper water kettle from the 1800s in Sweden. Full of dings.....i love it!
Lots great stuff
Thank you 🤗
Your style will evolve as you discover the many treasures in the "beauty of yesterday"
Thank you for this inspiration! 🤗❤️
Wow, I absolutely would have picked up that plastic mirror. I collect vintage acrylic, plastic, lucite pieces. Some can be worth good money, but more importantly, they can have great lines, and can be quite beautiful. I also would have grabbed the copper piece. I never leave copper behind. It can be expensive when purchased new, and looks great in any kitchen. ❤
When I first picked it up, I noticed the lines and how pretty the color was but once I realized it was plastic, I disregarded it. Your comment enlightened me; I realized that due to the extreme production of plastic in modern times, I was quick to disregard anything of the material or similar without appreciating it's beauty or worth. I will definitely take the time to appreciate pieces in the future and educate myself further. Thank you for the insight.
Totally! I'm still kicking myself for that. It was such a good deal too. Now I know moving forward! As you can probably tell, I'm pretty new to thrifting and the vintage/antique world 😅 ❤️
I went through the same phase with thrift stores ...
It can be overwhelming sometimes but so much fun!
Certain baskers I would like to uave ro store things inaide of the closet.
Just wondering if you buy to sell or if it’s just for the history?
At the moment, history and creating my own collection. However, I might sell some items to re-home them as my own personal style further develops.
You found some really nice things! I can never say no to copper! ❤
Thank you! I feel like the days where I go thrifting casually are the days when such great items pop up vs. when I'm on the hunt. Yesss! I'm starting to want everything in copper now.
