Hi, in 3:45 although the spring-mass system is put in vacuum, the energy is still lost to the surrounding in form of heat energy by radiation due to the compression and stretching of particles in the spring. (According to textbook, spring mass system exercises more significant internal damping than pendulum system). So, damping effect is still happened in vacuum right, although no air particles to cause external damping?
