Best thing about the Word of God is that it's always relevant. I've learned that the only times I've actually felt like something was off with a word I was getting was when pastors would get really far from the scriptures and preach prosperity positivity, feel good messages, or personal problem kind of messages... I love P Mike for rooting everything he says in scripture. It's not something we get often.
@@jordinstephens9355 I know what you mean, but in the bible, motivational speaking is described as the gift of exhortation. Living in lack isn't what God intended for us (the opposite of lack IS prosperity). I think there are seasons we need motivation and seasons we are challenged to grow. Your preference is your preference, but I would never put ministry is a box because it's ALL needed to advance the kingdom! We just have to use discernment and make sure the prosperity message is biblical as well as the messages used to challenge us. :)

I have no words! In 2015, God revealed that He was going to move me and my family to San Diego. He even showed me the house that we would live in and said to me "I am giving you the ocean". I immediately got my house ready for sale and had no offers, lol. It was clear that it wasn't time. So, I waited....and waited.....and waited. I recently came across another house in my area. It appeared to have everything that I wanted, but something didn't sit right in my spirit with it. I still told my husband that I'm going to pray for that house....and then this message hit me right between the eyes! I was settling for a replica of what God promised me! Praise The Lord, I needed this today. The Lord told me what career path He wants me to go down. I’m out of work, so I got hasty and started looking for jobs in other areas. Today, The Lord told me, “ I have a job for you, just apply where I tell you to.” He also told me that while you’re out of work, I’m teaching you some lessons. I have completely fell in Love with with this church. Pastor Michael Todd has delivered so many messages to me, my husband and our friends. I’m watching this in 2020, and the comment at the start ‘I’m believing in a Saul to Paul conversion for apostle Kanye’ was RELEASED! God is speaking prophecy through Pastor Mike and even watching a year later, it is so relevant for me today and I am believing that 2020 is the year that God will release me, from the bondage of chronic illness that has seen me wheelchair / bed bound for 8 years! I am believing this is the year that god will Release me from weakness and make me STRONGER! Through these sermons, God is showing me that it took time for me to get this weak and it will take time for God to release me from the generational curses, the weakness and the doubt that has clouded my head for 8 years! Living in lack isn't what God intended for us (the opposite of lack IS prosperity). I think there are seasons we need motivation and seasons we are challenged to grow. Your preference is your preference, but I would never put ministry is a box because it's ALL needed to advance the kingdom! We just have to use discernment and make sure the prosperity message is biblical as well as the messages used to challenge us. :)

I have no words! In 2015, God revealed that He was going to move me and my family to San Diego. He even showed me the house that we would live in and said to me "I am giving you the ocean". I immediately got my house ready for sale and had no offers, lol. It was clear that it wasn't time. So, I waited....and waited.....and waited. I recently came across another house in my area. It appeared to have everything that I wanted, but something didn't sit right in my spirit with it. I still told my husband that I'm going to pray for that house....and then this message hit me right between the eyes! I was settling for a replica of what God promised me! Today, The Lord told me, “ I have a job for you, just apply where I tell you to.” He also told me that while you’re out of work, I’m teaching you some lessons. This could not have come at a better time. I literally had a breakdown this morning because I doubted that the picture God gave me a few weeks ago was actually going to come to pass. I have completely fell in Love with with this church. Pastor Michael Todd has delivered so many messages to me, my husband and our friends. This sermon has touched me and uplifted me in so many ways as of all the other sermons I’ve watched. I located this channel last week and have listened to the stride message and now I’m on this one!! I’m watching this in 2020, and the comment at the start ‘I’m believing in a Saul to Paul conversion for apostle Kanye’ was RELEASED! God is speaking prophecy through Pastor Mike and even watching a year later, it is so relevant for me today and I am believing that 2020 is the year that God will release me, from the bondage of chronic illness that has seen me wheelchair / bed bound for 8 years! I am believing this is the year that god will Release me from weakness and make me STRONGER! Through these sermons, God is showing me that it took time for me to get this weak and it will take time for God to release me from the generational curses, the weakness and the doubt that has clouded my head for 8 years! I am believing Gods vision for a stronger and healthier me and I am surrendering everything to Jesus- if this takes time, that’s fine, I will use that time to immerse myself in the Word, to pray and worship and connect with Jesus.
