As I was walking the streets of Ethiopia, I could see the comparison with my family back home. I could definitely see the bloodline resemblance. Nevertheless, It felt so good to see african roots. I had an amazing time and I will always cherish my time there. Although it was very short. It still had such a significant impact on me. Thank you so much for watching.
@@MasterHill88 stop lying. Some african americans look Ethiopian, does it mean they are Ethiopian? ua-cam.com/video/Ia2VIKvV-Eg/v-deo.html I'm glad you caught the white mannequins. One thing that concerned me about Ethiopia. They are uncomfortable with their own dark skin be represented on Mannequins. They claim all mannequins come in one color but they refuse to use dark Mannequins. This also goes the same with children's dolls as well. Black kids carry blond hair blue eyes doslls.Colorism is serious issue in Africa.
I was thinking also the same thing why I don't see many black mannequins in store/shop in Ethiopia? As an Ethiopian I can assure that it's not about uncomfortable with dark colored mannequins, in fact colorism has no place in Ethiopia. You went too deep, still it's okay.
It might be because it's cheaper or easy to source. Those people selling on the street side are working people trying to make ends meet.
