No matter what color you use, the final poduct is gorgeous. Thanks for the written material list. I was braking my head to figure out what were the name ( heishi) you're talking. I've never heard it till yesterday. For foreign language people,as me, the written list helps a lot, mostly the kind of thread.Hugs from Rio de Janeiro/Brasil

Vera - I always write the bead information in the description box : ) I understand as I also often watch beaders from different countries and try it figure out how to proceed! Also, the Heishi beads aren't necessary if you don't want to use them - any 11/0 seed bead or Delica bead will work just fine : ) Have fun!

I like how you use 15 beads for the loop. I usually use them for the ear wire loops as well. I am anxiously awaiting an order of drops that I ordered from Fusion Beads. I could not find them at any of our local bead stores.

Hi how are you doing? Well i went to a bead show today been trying to get these heshi beads well i found some but they don't look like the ones in the video they have very large hole almost whole bead they are 2mm i guess but strung on thick string i can't seem to find them anywhere i even ordered some from amazon but when I got them they don't look the same either. where do you get yours? i want to make these earings they are really cute. well maybe you can help me find some so i can get started. thanks talk to you soon.

+Kathy Puryear H Kathy! I order mine from Amazon but I just went on their site and no 2mm hematite heishi beads!!! The beads are 1x2mm tiny beads and are called silver plated hematite heishi beads. I looked at a few websites and a little on eBay but I can't find them yet. I know they are out there because I love this bead and have to resupply :) Try Firemountain Gems - they have a synthetic Hematite called Hemalyke (I think that is the name) Its possible they have them. I will keep looking for us and I'll post on my Facebook page what I find.

G'Day Stephanie, Love the earrings they indeed very "chic". I have a lot of amber beads so I am going to play around with that colour and hope I do justice to your beautiful design. Try the wire guards, they are really great and it saves going through several times to reinforce your ear hook or a finding for your bracelet. It gives a lot of strength and helps to protect the thread and aids in a longer thread life. Hopefully I will be able to send you some pictures of what I have been doing this afternoon (Down Under time at the moment...12.23 pm. But you may already now as your little clock will show)) Ones you wanted of the necklace so you can do it. I hope that my camera "decides to work" today.... I am sure you know all about those "little temperamental modern technology items" that helps to makes our life "soooo" much easier!!!!!!!... With luck you can bead away in the next couple of days and finish the necklace. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.... Blessings..... Chris

Chris Phillips Chris, I've missed you : ) I think amber would be beautiful! I have many amber jewelry pices and love the color. I made the necklace with flower beads (on facebook) and it looks totally different! I'm working on a bracelet to match - might as well go all the way with this one! Thank you for agreeing to resend some pics of Stephanie's Gems - I've tried every netting stitch I know and it looks very different than your beautiful piece! Chris, I constantly have technical issues, video issues, staying in frame issues haha so I totally understand your dilemma! No rush on the pics and don't get stressed about it. I'll get it eventually ;) Hugs to my beading sister xoxo

Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry I like the sound of those flower beads... never thought to use those but I have some thing else in mind.. I thought I would use ... no I think I will be a little tease and make it first then tell you (that's my muse being naughty and sly ....sorry she does that every now and then... she can be at times a real drama queen). I have brought some flower beads a while ago and they are just sitting in the bottom of my bead box waiting for a project so it sounds like the perfect way to use them... thanks beading sister!!!!!! I tend to buy a lot of amber coloured beads as well as green, purple (tones) and gold. They are the Autumn tones and because my skin to has that gold tone about it ,these colours suit me best. the winter tones...... grey, black and cool colours ..... like red/blue or white make me look washed out. I am more red/orange and cream type. If it helps (with the netting stitch) Gina (Gina Gems Creations) does a necklace using netting. It helped me to work out my design..... it may help you. In the netting stitch I used all 11/0's and just used three colours. Then I weaved through the 11/0's to attach different types of beads..... I probably did do it technically right in following the thread path but by shear luck they worked... being a Embroider I am used to carrying threads behind my fabric.... which is how I looked at the netting surface. I look forward to hearing from you soon ..... missed you also.... Hugs right back at you too... beading sister

Hmmm...I wonder what your muse is up to? I am very interested! My muse has been busy keeping me up at night in a beading frenzy! I took today (Friday) off to spend some time with my son and move my legs! My muse is sleeping peacefully for now : ) She is a night owl as am I. Thanks for the tip on the netting. I love netting so I will work on it until it looks good : ) I too had quite a few flower beads I bought last year and found no use for them untilI my muse went to work!! Now I love them : ) I wait patiently for your surprise design! Your beading sister - Stephanie

Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry Sorry that I haven't gotten back to you sooner but our beautiful Carla (our eldest German Shepherd) has hurt her back ...... we thought it was her hips..... "thank goodness it wasn't". We have to keep her very quiet and still for the next "TWO WEEKS" Guess I will be doing a lot of beading as she will be lying next to me. The other one ... Hollie will also need to do the same... no playing time. Ah!!!! think of me for the next two weeks my friend.... it's going to be "such fun". Hope that day you had with you son was great... it's wonderful to have those days... they're "priceless". It's nice to know that I'm not the only one with " a Drama Queen" and "Elfin" muse. Sunday being tomorrow the19th, ( my day of rest) I will start on my necklace... may be I will get it finish by night time. Give Andrew a big hug and Bernie a pat..or should I say a polish and looking forward to hearing from you soon.... Your beading sister ... Chris

Chris - Our pets are really like our children, aren't they? Poor baby I hope she feels better soon! We had a beautiful black German Shepherd years ago (before children) and she was so special to us! My now husband and I merged our families back then ( his beautiful Shepherd and my sweet kitty) and they became close friends for many years! I am also glad to hear Carls's hip is fine as we know Shepherds are prone to hip dysplasia! So she will stay close to you my dear beading sister and the muse can sleep for a couple of weeks : ) and Hollie will keep you company as you care for her! Keep me posted on how she is getting along. I will polish Bernie and pet Andrew hahaha you must think I'm a real eccentric old beader! I think all of us artsy types are a little quirky to begin with - it fuels our creativity!!! xoxo your beading sister : )

These are really pretty. I wouldn't change anything of this design. Love them as is. I think they would seem unfinished if you left off any of the drops.
Where did you find 2mm x 2mm heishi beads? I've checked my regular sources and can't find what you used. Might you be using 11/0 8/0 delicas or similar?
    TFS!

Thank you Michelle 🌻😊🙏 I purchased the heishi beads on Amazon from BRC Beads. It was a while ago so I think an 11/0 would be fine. Maybe a 2mm firepolished bead if you have one would work.

Hi Kim and thanks for the nice comment 😃 The Heishi beads are 2mm - sorry if it wasn't clear 🌺 You can find them on Amazon that is where I buy them. Put 2mm hematite Heishi beads in the Amazon search box. Hopefully they will gave them! Let mr know how it goes🌺
