At the mouth of dry creek is the best spot almost directly across from party rock, I haven’t been there in a few years but me and my son used to camp there with my boat all the time. there’s also a trail if you go towards staircase and head over the bridge on the left right at the mouth of Skokomish river its on most maps. Have fun its a beautiful lake!
@@migration-man7077 thank you! Is it easy to find spots that won't be on someone's property? That's my main concern. We spend most of our time at that end of the lake you are talking about. I love that trail. My daughter and I used it when the road into staircase was washed out a few years ago. Thanks for the info!
@@andymanr67 Just go to the mouth of dry creek there’s a few spots right on the lake, If your in the lake looking at the creek they are on the left cant miss them. Last time I was there they were Tacoma power property and you could camp there for free.
Excellent
Nice video. It’s nice to get some history…I’ve been wanting to get up to Chushman to do some boat camping this summer
Lots of good camping around the lake and a beautiful summer for it!
Cool video! We're hoping to canoe camp up there soon. Where would you recommend? Looking forward to the wind and waves...

Thank you so much! Great info! Looks like we'll still have good weather to work with.
What part of the lake is this at?
If you go across the lake from the skok boat launch then follow the shoreline towards the mouth of the river it’s 1/4 mile past the group of houses
Do you mean that the foundation of that house you showed, this was the point that was 1/4 mile past the group of houses?@@migration-man7077
