Do you think traffic going from LA to Las Vegas will be bad on July 5th? We havent heard any news on how that weekend will be.
It's hard to say. Normally traffic from L A to Vegas is bad on Fridays but with this being July 5th there's a chance of it being better because many people will already be in Vegas. Plan for the worst, hope for the best, and leave as early as possible on Friday.
What time do you recommend going down to the strip on the 4th ? Do they close the streets at any point?
The strip won't be closed so if you're looking for a spot to watch the Caesars fireworks show you'll want to get there with time to spare. Expect large crowds and paid parking. The show starts at 9:00.
