This guy’s logging crew needs someone to explain to his employees out in the woods that it’s not good business practice to cause 30K damage to a dozer trying to drag out a log that’s worth 800 bucks. I definitely want to see the re-assembly.
Very true
Yeah ain’t that the truth. Kind of like my EX wife. She bought a 200 dollar dog she thought she needed. It tore up a 1200 dollar door, 3000 dollars worth of car interior no telling how much trim and carpet and what else. Best 200 dollars she ever spent. Lol
The boss or supervisor who that put this particular (untrained?) operator on the machine can't walk away from responsibility for this stuff up either. Some sort of cost summary in the final video will be instructive.
This happened with a lot of force. Thanks that no part of the box broke free and hit someone. There should be an check up on what went wrong. Operator error, hurry hurry we need to meet production or mechanical? Why did this shaft break instead of the allready weakened cardanshaft to the winch? Do the 2 pumps fit okay.
For example: on a new piece of machinery in the assembly hall an flange did not fit propperly. Someone taped the tread again trough the flange. Thus creating a burr on the mating surfaces. The flange was out of alignment while rotating and driving part of the equipment. It broke shortly after put to use.
I also definitely want to see the re-assembly and some one needs to show his employees the broken bits and explain how they brock it! 🙂
Hey Clint I see 💰💰💰 signs on your face, waiting for the Clint with sunglass an the snoop Dogg song to key in 😂😂😂💪💪
I love it
Reminds me of a comment from a Marine I knew, he goes "they make things idiot proof but never Marine proof"
heck yeah I want to see it put back together
Clinton, I love watching you and Kevin work together. It's 50 percent comedy and 50 percent technical and mechanical knowledge.
Good news is - with customers like these, you’ll always have work and income 👍🇦🇺
For sure
That's if they don't go out of business with such massive repair bills 🤔
I spent 20+ years dredging both off shore and inland environmental work before buying a log skidder and started logging. I can confirm that it’s not difficult to tear equipment up
This was an excellent video from start to finish. Kevin was correct...the fuse had gone. ha.
That operator said if it's worth doing. Then do it right. Lol God bless
Let us see the job to its conclusion Clint 👏👏👏👌🇬🇧🥰
That’ll buff right out.
WOW!!! What a mess. I can see being hard on equipment but this seems more of a "hold my beer and watch this" moment!
So this really sounds like a " hold my beer moment " lol.
Lol
I've seen all kinds of logging equipment abuse but who ever was running this dozer sure as hell doesn't know what they are doing.
I would think for what the company paid for the machine it wouldn't fall apart when it was used for the purpose it was built for. It isn't like the operator ran it out of oil or rolled it over all he did was pull a lever. Machine should have stalled out or broke the winch line.
Ho yes I want to see the video Clint .
Wow they sure know how to break things. I bet they are glad you know how to fix them.
It takes skills to do both lol
Everyone is in trouble now! The big boss man is in the shop!😀
5/28/22..Clint, that Logger's Deere750 with sheered-off Winch caused lots of damage. Thx for showing us YT viewers! Yes continue to show the rest of the rebuild & if ok, tell us the total $ to repair this kind of 'field' damage.
Also know this type of video shows-off your huge, well equipped shop. That shop was a huge investment but wow, u needed it & it is working for you. Also appreciate yur video editing techniques..cutting tape after removing components, then psi washing, then returning video to work on clean items for better video production. Your narration is outstanding as you tell us step-by-step what's under the mess, then showing us the several components/hoses/shafts etc..then cleaned items for disassembly...on & on..Much enjoy watching you & yur team diagnose/repair & return these big/fine work machines back to the workplace to continue production contributing to our US economy. 🇺🇸 Thx for all yur time editing, flying droan & showing us all yur efforts including teaching yur son's welding, operating heavy equipment, computer graphics/vinyl sign making...all the stuff you do is mighty good stuff to watch & learn. A++👍👍👍👏😊🛠⚙🔧🚜🍺
Thanks
And thanks for watching
Classic case of stepping on dollars to pick up dimes...some things are just not worth doing because the pay pack ain’t there!...I suspect they did this more than once and got away with it but my daddy always told me “if you bring that water jug to the brook enough times, sooner or later it gonna break”...hopefully there were some lessons learned here...you guys are amazing and I love your videos!!..keep it up!!
Thanks
Million dollar tip on the tracking the dozer without electronics by using that Switch on those motors
For sure
It took a Lot to pull that thing apart! I didn't believe it could be done!
This kind of customer will definitely keep you in business. Wow!
I would love to see it getting put back together and to see how bad's the winch was
Keep the videos coming. I wonder if the dozer operator is still working there?
WOW! Just making the list of parts needed for this job is it's own job.
For sure
+C&C Equipment: As per your usual, another excellent video showing pieces/parts removal and damaged parts taken from the John Deere 700J dozer. As you suspected, a prime job of *_destruction_* caused by at least one, probably more, eedgit operators, attempting to badly apply pulling power from the rear-mounted winch on the 700J machine. They did a prime *_JOB_* didn't they? Oh well, it's only *MONEY* ...
You get the standard You Tube 'thumbs-up' award for this presentation. Looking forward to the videos showing repair/replacement process required to get this equipment properly operating once more. Well done and keep 'em comin'! 😁
Thanks
Wow that is some interesting dozer operation there. What a mess. I would say his operating days are over, back to the choker setting. Thanks for sharing.
For sure
Thanks
No create a new position, we shall call it tree catcher.
Absolutely want to watch this process evolve back into a working tractor again. You do know your stuff, you anticipated the problems you would encounter before even opening up the patient - nice work!!
he didn't anticipate anything. he did diagnostics and an inspection.
LOGGER R VERY ROUGH ON EQUIPMENT. KEEP FLIMING BE GLAD TO C AWESOME WORK.
Can't wait to see you flushing all those lines, pumps, and motors to remove that "glitter"!
Love to see you guys aggressively taking on challenges, you seem to relish taking them on, making things right and proper again! 👏🏽👍🏼☺️
you think thats bad frac equipment is way worse more pumps hoses and some of the mixing tub motors have the shaft twisted off
Hell yeah I want to see it go back together
Wow … ripping it’s self right off the machine … that’s mind boggling power.
I do want to see it all going back together.
Yep, this will be a fun time. The best thing is it's in good hands.
I can see there are some good videos coming up.
Randy is amazing! If I had to work through that mess without cleaning it would drive me nuts! Also you guys are awesome. I was considering buying an excavator for my property projects. Can NOT nearly afford a new one so I’ve been looking for used ones . BUT by watching your vids I’ve learned that getting a used one around the price I’m looking at comes with its own problems. Thank you for all you have taught me, seriously
Definitely want to see the rebuild
Flossing it out of the cab was a good explanation on this removal procedure!
For sure be great to see the hole project done great watch 👍👋🇨🇦
Yes I do want to see you fix this mess
I've never seen customers break equipment better than loggers do.
Always
I'm guessing the company has a vacancy for a new operator!! 😆😅🤣. That was pure abuse. Can't wait to see the rebuild. 🙂👍 🇮🇪
Probably so
Definitely want to see the reassembly
This is so cool to watch, amazing! Kevin is a fricken rock star, funny as hell. Please film this adventure.
Looking forward to all your videos.Yep, this will be a fun time.
Definitely want to see it put back together
Gotta love carnage, lol thats a royal f#&"k up.. bet the owner is probably going to have some choice words for that employee. Its great for us though, wonderful content!!! Its not everyday that you get to see deep down in the guts of these machines. On this channel thats exactly what you get and thats why I keep watching. Keep up the great work man and enjoy your weekend 👍 have fun in the woods lol
Thanksgiving
Bad day in Black Rock lol great video thank you
No idea how you would do the billing on that! Everything from the parts to the labor. Sure I missed something. Nightmare! Also love to see it working on that machine In the woods but that’s just not possible I don’t imagine. Thank you regardless
Looks like a run to the wash rack would be only a suggestion. Classic example of using the wrong machine to do something that the winch wasn't designed to be used as. There must be profit in logging with the history of abuse of their equipment. I love watching you and would like to see it put back together.
They are more than likely harvesting Hardwoods. Big money ? Not enough to justify running equipment that way.
This shows what happens when employees (and owner/foreman) do not train themselves and employees.
Have you tried buying lumber, lately?😱🤣😎
This is a real Watch Wes Work episode of C&C. :)
Looking forward to seeing the reassembly
Not used to so much content in 1 - video. grrrrrr8 job guys! The standard video takes 1- bolt out (10 minutes) then wait for part 2 (might remove 2 bolts) you guys rock!!!!!👍
This is going to be an epic rebuild. I can't wait to see it.
I really enjoy your videos there educational and well-edited, I retired as a diesel mechanic and they never make it easy for ya. -The one thing that I would enjoy is seeing the prep and painting of a dozer
Excellent video ! Looking forward to the entire process of returning it back into service ...
Those of us unfamiliar with the ins and outs of heavy equipment operation are probably a little surprised how much damage can be done to something that appears to be so durable. Everything breaks if it's whooped on enough!
I like watching you guy take things apart and put back together
C&C Equipment needs a PIG MAT sponsorship. They use enough.
DAMN...talk about equipment abuse. If that operator was working for me he wouldn't be anymore. Great job of cleaning up the destruction Clint & Kevin. 👍👍
Thanks
That drive shaft is one for the rogues gallery!
Return it to show what not to do in the woods. And explain the economics of it.
Sure !! Lets see it going back together !!!!!
There is another video of it
That log arch adds an huge torque load to the mounting points of the winch. I wouldn’t put it back on without some serious modifications.
That is true
Wow how can someone be so hard on equipment is unbelievable. So much Carnage. Lucky for them they have pros like you to help and even try to keep the bill down. Great job of course i want to see it all go back together. Keep up the great work and awesome videos.
Thanks
It is cool to see you in business mode. There is definitely a different air to this video. More serious. Making sure your customer knows that you take this seriously. But still fun to watch.
Thanks
Proper boys toys channel. Thank you for all your content. Steve. Bulgaria.
That dozer has some power for sure! Great job!
The guy that cased that damage needs a serious talking to but, it makes for great content for C&C lol.
Kevin cracked me up, "I'm sure it's got a shear pin like a brush hog" lol.
Great video Clinton.
Lol
For sure
Definitely are wanting to see this get repaired and go back together. Thanks Clint!!
Fine line between running equipment to its maximum potential and destroying the equipment.
Yep
Add me to the list who want to see this job through to completion.
Have the pump shop magnaflux the front pump input shaft. It may be cracked too
Yep
Can't wait to see the rebuild 👍
Jb weld is your friend. lol
If you look at the rope wire on the ground - the connections on them each is a log connection - they put the choaker into that eye. Used on drag lines and they tried to over load the tractor from the side. How sad.
Holy crap I've used one or two heavy winches over the years and I've never seen one broke up like that except when it fell off an embankment in a quarry or when one came off a low boy going down the highway and it rolled a few times
But newer a timber Dozier
One helluva lot of force to jackup a winch like that
Dam
Have fun with this one
Thank you for the videos
Have a great day
God bless you and your's
O ya you should pay the little fella he looks like he's been skipping a few meals 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Wouldn't want randy to waste away 🙈🙈🙈🙈😁😁😁😁😁👍✌👌🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤫
Just saying
Lol
Thanks
Man what a mess you’re going to have fun putting it back together but I know it’s going to work like it is bran new for the costumer you’re the man for the job and they know it will be right done by you 👍😎🇺🇸NY
safety feature, LOL. mechanic humor is great.
Definitely I would like to see it put back together
Jeez guys was he trying to yard a giant redwood with it ..Another great vid clint.
Salute to all those who have served and are serving our country! 🇺🇸💪🧨
I wood like to see it put back together
Wow they are soo fortunate You have the knowledge, skill and abilities to dig deep and ultimately return a "new" tractor and repaired winch again back to the customer. It is soo fascinating watch and how you explain what does what makes it complete. Thank you for sharing these repairs and your daily mechanical Work load. Keep up the farm tapes too!
Will do
you would think those dozers were indestructible but would like to see you finish it
Hi. You know we all want to see this dozer being fixed!😀
As always a very informative and interesting video That operator needs to be demoted to clean up boy. The only thing you can't actually show is how tight of a space you are working working in. I feel for you being a ex John Deere agriculture mechanic. Can't wait to see the rest of it and a estimate repair cost.
They have to have the patience of clam to do that work
A good time was had by all. Actually, almost nobody involved had a good time. Thanks for the show.
For sure
Yeah wanna see the rebuild. I bet that tractor let out one hell of a pop when all that broke.
Good job Randy !
Now I'm going to be on pins and needles waiting for the parts to arrive!
It's been awhile but I'm glad to be back
Glad your back
Great video. I couldn't believe the carnage. I agree with Kevin, there should be some of sheer pin or something, but these guys abused the machine beyond the normal use of a winch. Please keep them coming.
Yea
The ujoint in the driveshaft should of snapped but it didn’t
May of had something to do with winch falling off in the process
Clint, I love these videos repairing heavy equipment. This one has been sent thru the ringer for sure. Can't wait for the putting it back together video. You and Chris are a hoot.
Love to see it go back together..
Love to see you put it back together
For sure we want to see. Keep em coming. You guys be safe.
Definitely need to see a assembly video
Coming
Great videos !!
That strap setup on the swivel head clevis has to be handy Keep up the great work 👍
It is
