Definitely would love to see your pressing as well as your strongman type training. Like how you went for a single and then a triple in the squat; will have to incorporate that in my training. Great video great content

I’m 46. Started lifting for first time in my life. Weigh 200. What is a realistic goal to just maintain health and strength for longevity? 2 weeks ago I could barely deadlift 70 and at 110 today.

160kg deadlift, 110kg bench and 130/140kg squat - Many people I know (As well as myself) see these weights as good.

Get as strong as you can by the time you're 50. Then, keep getting stronger. As you age you can either be weak and in pain or strong and in pain. Your choice. Err on the side of lower overall volume and higher intensity in weight training for your age and get in good condition with low impact HIIT on an assault bike, rowing machine, push prowler.

    • @nathansmitty3591

@Craig C1911 Just stay consistent with working out. That's the only real secret to staying in shape. You'll have good days and bad. Push it on the good days and do what you can on the bad days. Whatever you do just don't give up on it. Recovery is very important the older you get, so don't slack on it. DON'T QUIT! 💪💪💪

Idk why people would say his back will be gone when he's 50. Ed Cohn is 57 and still deadlifts 4 plates, squats 4 plates, presses 3 plates easily. Effortlessly.
Its because the form is A1. If you don't know what you're doing, then you likely cant do that.

I love deadlifting, but no matter what I try to do I get extremely dizzy. I've worked on my breathing technique and still. I'm literally to the point where i'm about to give up doing that lift. If anybody can provide a youtube link talking about this please.
