If you buy something, I will get a little commission paid without any additional cost for you. This will allow me to invest in better video equipment and create more videos for you.
Beautiful! What a wonderful thing to do! Children will surely love watching the fish etc. They need something like this to take their minds off whatever they will be going through at the hospital. So thank you for volunteering and thank you to Osae for donating such a beautiful tank set up! I am looking forward to seeing the next video and learning more about this setup, it's quite impressive.
Thanks for the video. Waiting for the next episode!
Hats off to Oase for Sponsoring 👏👏👏. And to you as well for your hard work!
Wow the Cabinet was not flat packed! top marks for that alone!
Really great thing to do for the kids and parents at the hospital. A lot of admiration for Oase and yourself juris. Keep up the good/ extremely hard work.
It's nice from you to volunteer to keep the aquarium in a good condition. For a style I would say a combination of wood and stone. It's my personal preference but I think it looks also more interesting, you can put plants in between the wood and mosses on the branches. The stones giving it a more natural look.
i wanna know the reason why people dislike a video..anyways. good job Jurijs!
Maybe looking for some other subject matter with a similar word search. But people can be rude without reason.
@@Rubi747HVY makes sense. i follow cause jurijs makes good videos and its relaxing to watch
Yea some just hit thumbs up or down to fi e tune search, like pandora radio. I use to do the same thing years ago. I didn't know. But even dislikes gain more attention than nothing.
Maybe they are jealous 😂
I think your videos are great btw
Curious why you r not gonna use the bottom drilled filter entrance, cool feature man, I like it also that the tank fits the cabinet and can be close to a wall. Very nice innovations by Oase. I think it's cleaner then a rimmles tank. Especially with kids around , no cords or filter hoses on the sides, perfect. Very cool to spend your time there Jurijs.
Make the scape real "dreamy". Play with the depth, over hanging branches and so on. Use surface plants. Do everything to make the hospital patient lose track of time.
Hi Jurijs, what a great present Oase have donated, it will bring the kids and families hours of pleasure. Well done also to you,for giving your time freely to set up and maintain something like this for them. I would personally go with a full nature set up with lots of different textures and colours ,with shoals of small fish or possibly Angels only. I think that an iwagumi would look a bit dull although from your point of view it would be easier to maintain with less trimming . Whatever you finally decide to do I’m sure will look amazing and i cant wait to see what the next video brings us . All the best,Martin
In my opinion, the best video about the features of an oasis-highline aquarium. Thank you for that and like more! Greetings from Germany, Michael
Danke Michael ;) es kommen noch mehr videos zu diesem Projekt, das erste ist bereits aufgenommen und sogar schon geschnitten
Hi Jurijs, such a nice idea , I really like this tank and cabinet too, lots of thought went into this setup. A combination of rocks and roots would be nice, look forward to the next video. Thanks.
Beautiful people making beautiful things ❤️
Nice video. Its great to give back. I hope this aquarium brings a lot of joy to the families of the children. Watching your videos has inspired me to set up my first (hi tec) planted aquarium.
On another note, i tried your tip of cutting my crypts all the way back before planting. I am hoping for some good results.
Yes absolutely, also some ADA liquid ferts
A great idea and worthy project for the fascination and enjoyment of the children. Wonderful.
Very nice way to spend your time and is for a great reason. Looks perfect 😍 Beautiful Oase line 👏 and 👏 for your attitude 👌
Thanks for your generosity and spreading inspiration to others ....
Looks like an awesome set up! Great video.. I've never seen anything like that in the U.S. You guys are ahead of the curve from us over here..
Things are changing fast, in a few years things will be the same
Hi Jurijs, great explanation about tank an cabinet. Thank you for that. About the hardscape and layout, I think triangular shape with stones and wood and on the short end beach with sand are the best mixture and giving fish space to swim also good looking for children. Good luck with choosing the best option. ;)
Great Idea, great job, great video, great jurijs, great oase.. Thanks for helping children in that difficult situation !!
This is a great thing Jurijs!
Im sure the everyone will feel better after looking at the tank
Den Kindern gefallen bestimmt bunte Fische, daran würde ich das Layout anpassen :) Schönes Projekt!
Imbus is called an Allen-key in English :) I know we call it imbusz in Hungarian. :)
I’m into the mostly driftwood style right now with plenty of epiphytes, moss, and some stem plants. :)
It'll look great whatever style you go with! Oooooo.... I can't wait! 👍😀😘🌱❤️
Jurijs...i think a simple minimalistic style with driftwood , white sand (no carpet plants) would look awesome.
Some bolbitis, narrow leaf java fern, anubias nana, buceps and lots of various types of mosses....a greyish white kind of sand as a substrate layer would look beautiful while providing an impactful contrast against the dark background of the tank....?
Some bright yellow coloured male guppies with amazing personality...would be such an eye candy to the children....with some bottom dwellers and shrimps...🤗🤗😍
It would also be easy to maintain.
@@JurijsJutjajevs : Thank you for making amazing videos...💖🤗
look forward to the next vid
Wow, it's really nice set up. If this is in a children hospital you should make it less grown up and more fun. Tunnels from rocks so the children can watch the fish go in and around. Also the fish should be bold and colorful.
I think I will definitely go for colorful fish, but the layout itself I will keep natural
We are calling the key imbus too, but in USA they call it allen key. :)
Tank and cabinet look great think you should do rock and wood more interest for the kids
Is the light support extendable? Does the black thing come out if you pull it so that you can use it on other aquariums?
Pretty cool company. I need to get a bio master thermo
Is the black backing fixed? I'd want to use it as a room divider :)
Good job! Big heart!
I think you should go with a wood focus but don't use any mosses. Keep it low maintenance and treat it like a jungle style tank.
Thank you Oase, a great initiative. I have a question for Jurijs: when I look at the output (lumens) of the Oase lights, they don't come anywhere near the minimum for Tropica plants (as on the Tropica web site). I was looking at the Highline 400 specifically and the max output of the bulb is only about 10% of the minimum for 'Easy' plants. This puts me off these tanks! Can you comment on this please? The size of the 400 suits me well as I don't have the 60cm+ depth of equivalent aquascaper tanks (e.g. DD 1500).a
I would say the communication on Oase website isn’t perfectly clear. Ie the highline 400 classic LED kit has 2x 28watt led tubes with 2950 lumen each. That’s 5900 lumen total. Divide by 400 liters and you get 14.75lumen/liter which is exactly within the Tropica recommended range for Easy category plants. You can dbl the amount of classic leds for a total of 4, which will get you to 30lumen/liter which is Tropica‘s suggestion for Medium category plants. Or you can go straight to the highline premium if you want the ability to customize the color and Intensity
@@JurijsJutjajevs thanks for replying. Likely to go for the premium in order to get more control, are the lumen stats similar?
Hi Jurijs! can you tell me - has a filter been supplied together with aquarium or bought separately ? thanks!
So how often do you wanna visit? Make it a dutch style tank and have to trim it once a week, lol
What ever happend to the leaking tank that was floating in the wall. Would live to see an update
I like your videoseries about the tank in the Kinderhospiz very much, but I would like to know what you did with the old tank and filter. Did you reuse it even though there was this massive amount of cyanobacteria in it?
When you Scape this tank brother, I am waiting for that.
As you mentioned in the video, in my view you can go for driftwoods rather than stones/rocks (this is my suggestion to you bro).
@@JurijsJutjajevs 👌
On the topic of shipping an aquarium, could this potentially compromise the structural integrity of a rimless tank? I'm considering ordering a custom build from a company in another part of the country, but I'm uncertain.
It all depends on how secure the company packages the tank. Ive ordered 2. One was poorly packaged and and broken. The other was very securely packaged. Inside and outside. It was perfect and still running great.
@@PastTheDirtRoad Great. Those RL examples are gonna be good to reference when I talk to the company. Thank you.
@@JurijsJutjajevs Alright that's also good to know. TY
I must ask : what did you do with the livestock you rescued from the old tank ?
Ok ! That’s convenient ! I only have one tank and I still haven’t figure out how to deal with the livestock for a few days/weeks when it’s time to rescape it. Maybe set up a temporary tank...
i can't find the pro tip for hiding the filter inlet. For the drilled bottem.
drilled bottom sealing video isn't out yet
Doesnt that design leak with hole in bottom eventually
Beautiful, how much would a set up like that cost?
So you talking English with a German childrens hospital? 😉 really cool your social engagement 👍 💚
Don't mention the war.
Maybe stating the obvious here but I think jurijs is in the hospital as it is local to him (in Germany), and speaking English because that is where the UA-cam market is (USA).
Jup USA/international (English) :P
The best in your opinion is oase or juwel ?
OASE is better, Juwel is more affordable
@@JurijsJutjajevs
Dann nimm doch lieber was nicht so alltägliches. Z.b.
Micropoecilia picta
Oder sollte es größer sein
Limia melanogaster
Ameca splendens
Dutch aquriuam!
is the 3rd video going to happen, would love to see how you scape it
It’s already filmed and many more are coming
@@JurijsJutjajevs Brilliant, I have the same tank so really wanting to see how you scape it..look forward to watching it.
Hi Juri you asked your subscribers about layout, i think better ask kid's in the hospital 👋
(allen wrench) - Thanks for volunteering, I encourage everyone to help others and to get out of their own little world. It will help put one's priorities and perceptions in place and help you live your life in a state gratitude.
