Alvito Fernandes OCD -- Freedom of the Reborn -- In chapter 9, Community Life, he writes that every community has good and people with unclean spirits... Sarah, the wife of Tobias, jealous Saul, persecuting David, David with his Bathsheba, dominating Solomon, foolish Rehoboam, vicious Jezebel. Fr. Alvito says God loves them all and wants them all to change.
He says we are ALL proud people with proud spirits, and that even in the worst community -- with a good prayer life -- God purifies each through the other.
I pray for the grace to act with the FRUITS of the spirit...love, joy, peace etc., in each circumstance.
I also do the binding prayer that Fr. Jose from Logos teaches.
I work tirelessly for Goem's good, but I miss going to swim, I miss putting my bare feet in the sea, I miss singing to the sea at sunset.
