This game is beautiful. Insanely good graphics and animations considering it game out in 2010. Also the last true Halo released by Bungie and still better than 4 and 5 in my opinion. Glad to see it coming back to life with the backwards compatibility.
My favourite of the human sniper guns is the sniper rifle for me by sound and animation I would take it over the DMR but then with a game like this I would take anything that kills

What's funny is that I've never owned Halo Reach, yet it's one of my favorite games. I only played it at a friend's house. I've never owned an Xbox (always had a Playstation) but the weapons, story, multiplayer, etc. were some of the best in any game. I know it'll never come to Playstation, but if it did I would pay $200 for it. I love Halo Reach so much. The USMC weapons are so iconic and amazingly designed. Reminded me of a long range scoped version of the smg in the sense that you have to pour a ton of ammo (or charge for the focus rifle) on one enemy at a time to down them. But atleast with the smg you can just down the shield and go in for the melee kill, whereas this thing takes even longer to kill an enemy as its usually used at ranges where melee finishing isn't viable, so you end up tediously keeping the reticle targeted on one single enemy to kill them for what seems like way too long for how fast paced and erratic halo battlefields are
Halo Reach is my fav of the Halo series. Amazin' vid dude! I loved it! I can't help but love the plasma weaponry though. It's always my go to in the Halo games. It makes me feel powerful and I feel like I've killed more enemies with them them any other type of weapon. I wish we could dual wield Plasma Pistols and Plasma Rifles again. I really liked dual wielding.
The Spiker is an awesome weapon like the Mauler and Brute Shot. They need to include it more because I like the idea that even if you run out of ammo you can still use those nasty blades that are attached to them.
This game brings back so many memories. I used to play all the time with my brother. I forget what the game mode is called, but its kind of like zombies in call of duty. Waves of covenant keep spawning in rounds. My brother went around on the ground and killed all the grunts while i was on top of a building with the sniper killing all the brutes and big guys. When you shot the sniper, it literally gave me chills. Thank you for making this video. Brought back my childhood🙂
All the weapons and sounds effects in this game was a lot better than what 343 made in Infinite with their Call of Duty set, feels more modern made for Halo Lol🙌🏻

Am I the only one who's always thought it was silly that super human Spartans wearing massive heavy suits of ultra protective armor shake their hands like they touched a hot stove when a covenant weapon overheats. Like I know it literally overheated by the heat couldn't possibly be that intense through the armor right?

Well, Halo 4 had for the most part. It's a fairly solid story, but for many it fell short in multiplayer aspect. For Halo 5, they tried their hardest to rectify the multiplayer part, but then the story fell apart(and yet after they changed the story when this game was in development. The original story was supposed to be a different things than we see now but I guaranteed it will be a potential to be great than Halo 4 and a potential to be one of the best Halo in its franchise if Halo 4 is the worst. Sadly, they just scrapped it and then the impact of their mistake was even worst than Halo 4. Damn).

Plasma launcher was cool in its design and concept but i think grenades would fly way too slow... IMO Halo 5's Plasma caster has a similar concept but is much better as a weapon.
The AR sounds are definitely my favorite sadly in the Arma 3 OPTRE mod only the MA5C has that distinct sound the other AR variant including Halo Reach’s variant the MA37 have a different sound

Well, you could fire the Focus Rifle in bursts so it could behave like a Beam Rifle. That and the fact that it has a Sniper-alike scope double-zoom feature; essentially a combo of the Sniper and the SafeGuard Laser.
Deppends, the Rocket Launcher was more powerful, but had way less ammo, and the FR Cannon shoot faster and had more ammo. The RL worked best against vehicles and the FRC worked best against spartans
The Needle Rifle actually has 2 idle animations. You skipped one. Also, I did not know that the SPNKr had 3 idle animations. Wow. But the Target Locator has 1 idle animation, as well as 1 melee animation?

It's called an idle animation, basically you stand still, wait a few seconds and it'll execute the animation.

What I don't get is why do they have mark VI mjolnir armor but chief in halo ce has mark V
The armor used by spartans in Reach is the Mark V.
But you can get a mark vi helmet

It's a known issue for pc. Devs are gonna fix it.
The grenade launcher has the same sound effects as the one from fallout NV, maybe they used the same firearm when recording the sounds for it??
