Hello, I had a question, I have a new Revolut account, but if we do not transfer a certain amount of money to this card, what if it is stolen and thieves try to withdraw a large amount of money from our main account ? Can't they withdraw money from my main account?Does it protect us on our normal virtual card as well, apart from the one used on a daily basis?

Haha thank you for the feedback, this isn't typical as I usually have a mic attached to a boom off camera. The issue was that I had to record in my kitchen a couple times and the acoustics in there are just terrible. That said, I don't know why I positioned the microphone SO CLOSE to my face!

Hi. I like the look of the single use card, but that got me thinking. This isn't something I could use to create a subscription to, say, Netflix as only the first payment would work and when Netflix tried to take the next payment it would fail, right? So, is there a way of creating a card that can be reused, but only by a specific retailer? In other words, can I create a Netflix subscription where that virtual card only works for Netflix so if someone stole those card details they can't use them? My original question was very specific "...is there a way of creating a card that can be reused, but only by a specific retailer?" and the answer is no, it is not possible to create a virtual card that can only be used by a specific retailer.
Yes, but you can use the permanent virtual card which is similar to your physical card, correct?

Difficult to know for sure, I can only speak from experience and what I've been told. It took me less than 24 hours and most people 2 - 48 hours.

This will depend where you're based, for example, in the UK you cannot top up with a credit card. Also your bank or card provider may consider this a cash advance transaction and charge you a fee. May I ask where you're based? ^Jonny

Technically yes, I guess you could call them a virtual bank in the EEA where they're licensed in Lithuania because they don't have physical branches. In the UK they aren't officially a bank because they're not licensed. ^Jonny
I ordered my physical card and now the app show me the virtual card I created and the standard physical card that's on the way, they both have different numbers, which one of them do I need to add to Google pay because I have the option to add both?
You could add either card, they’re both linked to your main account. I would suggest using the virtual one with Google Pay, that way you can keep your physical one separate.

Yes that's correct, they charge no fixed fees and uses Mastercard's FX rates which aren't too dissimilar to the mid-market rate. I actually use that credit card sometimes for foreign purchases. ^Jonny
