Is it just me, or is Matt's positivity INFECTIOUS. Like, literally every time Tim caught a fish, the positivity from Matt is immediately there. Complimenting him when they're doubled up, and again after Tim explains the bait balls and hooks up with "Good Job." Could not love these two more!
Hey I have an idea. It may be kind of cool if you guys wore mics while fishing so we could hear you guys when your at the front on a fish. Just an idea /experiment. It may be kind of cool. Especially on those windy days
I love Burritos in the morning, too, but you are talking about fish. 🐟I'm talking about Carne Asada Burritos😋 You fellas rocked it with different fish. Pretty cool guys
I'd love to see a video about just you two guy's,,how you're obviously best of friends,,how you're business partners that packed up you families in Ca and moved them all the way to the great state of Tennessee,,also,,what made you choose Tennessee etc etc,,then not to mention that you two put out the absolute best videos on UA-cam...
It's one of those days when you can hear the Runt singing: "I don't want to work. I want to bang on the drums all day." Sadly as old Ben Kenobi would say, "These aren't the fish you're looking for." At least you got some nice white bass and 1 nice stripper. You'll have to go back when they're pumping water... game changer.
Heck, that is a good day on the lake. Especially, if conditions aren't great. I wouldn't mind catching those drum. They seem feisty and were hitting pretty well.
I was there a few weeks ago and the drum hit EVERYTHING we threw!!! We caught some nice ones up to about 15lbs. They were freaking awesome on my skipjack rig
Have there ever been this many drum on this channel? It's nice to see something other than largemouth every once in a while. More striper videos please!
Wow an early video, just when I thought things couldn't get better, here we are! LOVE IT!! Caught a massive midwest 5lber on a frog yesterday!!! Appreciate the videos guys, love when you guys get together, and it's always a lot of fun!
Great video guys. Once people get into catch and release it doesn't matter if it's a 5 pound smallly or a 15 to 20 pound drum. Lots of fun.found the info commercial about the ancient African ritual very informative also.lol
Matt has the best cackle laugh in the game. Makes me smirk everytime! PS: I had a bass take a swipe at my Spro Rat 30 in MA this morning! Topwater is on!
Hope all is well for Matt. Was great seeing you guys out there just fishing like the old days. You may already have it, but the TVA app tells you the flow of all the dams so you can plan accordingly. Do you all think stripe eat smaller large and smallmouth? I’ve noticed patterns changing greatly over the years on Cherokee lake as stripe have become prevalent.
@@sammytesoriero1942 Tim said they had to leave a little early as Matt had to have some spots taken off his face. He had skin cancer a while back. He did a great job of explaining in an older video.
Great to see you guys together fishing again! I have a question for the two of you, I live on an fish Clearlake Ca. I know this is where you guys used to fish and have a good understanding of how this body of water works. I also know that your familiar with how choked with weeds it gets here. Any advice on how to navigate through this problem both from the bank and on the water?
my favourite part was Tim with a face full of Matt's drum. It makes me think how often has Matt nearly knocked you off your feet or into the water with his hook sets?
Matt, I've been extremely interested in the XXH Expride since they released the models. The biggest thing I am concerned about is the realistic lure rating?? Shimano says "MAX 17oz" but you're able to throw a ~2oz bait. What do you think the upper range is? Could/would you be able to throw an 8" hudd on it?
I have been told that the lockmaster at the Greenup pool on the Ohio river doesn’t want anybody fishing below the dam. It was a great place to fish in the past and public access to fishing lost.🤣
Can you fellas do a video on how to catch bass around spillways an damns an what to look for here in Missouri a lot of our lakes besides the big ones have run over spillways didn’t know if there was any tips or tricks or if the bass use those areas a lot or not thanks fellas
Are you guys just casting around the dam or at you targeting fish with mega live? I live very close to couple lakes on Savannah river chain lakes with big damns. I haven't tried fishing them yet but I know they both have monster striper
Thank you for everything ❤ . I have one question . Suspending and floating, slow sinking lure for pike need wire leader . This do some effects? How fix ? Please help 🙏
Now why doesn't the water ever look like that when I go? I have a kayak- and everytime I drive all the way up to PIckwick- it's rough as hell and I can't put in. 3-4 foot chop + a cheap kayak= going for a swim, and possibly losing a bunch of gear.
Would either of you throw a 7" stickbait wacky rigged on the face of the damm.. once matt mentioned current and lack of. I thought of throwing that senko

Gotta love East TN and all those tailraces... BIG stripe!!!
"You're on your own with that trainwreck" - hilarious. Love watching you guys fish together.
Welcome to TN! So awesome to see you guys fishing our waterways!

Y'all laughing at each other is helarious!!! 😆 Looks like so much fun!
I'm on the lake right NOW LOL!!!! just got notification! Been out all dag on night with this shad spawn wide open
We need to see y’all take the kayaks out and go for red drums! I think that would be an awesome video also!
Awesome to watch the friendship between you two. If they ever do a two man bassmasters event you guys got it

So refreshing to see uns fun fishing ! Just enjoying getting bites and catching fish ! Way to go guys. Great video ! Thx !
I don’t know why but Matt boat flipping that big drum at 16:25 made me laugh out loud 🤣
1:40~ “You’re not gone boat flip him?” 😂😂😂😭
Breakfast Burritos lol
A 3 am Tacticalbassin video!!!! The dreams came true!!!
Fun morning catches no matter the species
Been away from the channel for a while but great to see you guys laughing and having fun still!
17:53 almost got Tim in the face 😄
You guys have so much fun…love it.

Should have entered a drum contest. It had to be an easy 50lb bag. Great video (again) These are some of my favorite kinds
Always best when they're generating a couple gens. The striper/rockfish feed like crazy.
The drum are a good way to test rods reels and line and knots. If they hold up to those they will be ok for bass fishing
Tactical Drummin’🤠

I'm glad I'm not the only 1 who gets winded after fighting a big monster stripe or drum!
Matt has the best cackle laugh in the game. Makes me smirk everytime! PS: I had a bass take a swipe at my Spro Rat 30 in MA this morning! Topwater is on!
Y’all need to do more of these type of videos, I love striper fishing
the laughs after each catch is hilarious
That shad that Tim almost bounced off of the camera looked exactly like a 6th Sense Sweep in the "Wild Shad" color scheme
Dude this looks awesome!!! I excited to see this
Good early morning!
oh man got on some good bites in the cali aquaduct. big ol striper patrolling there all year.
More multi species fishing please
Love dam fishing 🎣
Hope all is well for Matt.

👏👏What an incredible day 👏👏
Tactical Drumming
Excellent
Thats a good trip
Great video!
Drum are the poor man’s Redfish! Of course they’re the same thing, but still!
😆 🤣 Matt kept fishing while Tim fights a big drum that was cold and no net job.
You just about knocked Tim into the water when you swung on that drum. 😂
although not ideal, drum fight pretty good. fun to catch.
my favourite part was Tim with a face full of Matt's drum. It makes me think how often has Matt nearly knocked you off your feet or into the water with his hook sets?

They like the breakfast burrito.
Tactical drumming.
I love how matt wouldn't net Tims giant 20 pound drum but he instantly asks for one when he gets a big bite 😂😂😂
You caught that too
It was a drum- he knew Tim wasn't going to care if he lost a drum.
I guess I'm not a bass snob. I'd be over the moon to catch a giant drum like that. A catch is a catch.
@@ratbird3290 we're not snobs,largemouth are just the best😉
I agree to be clear! Caught a 3lbr this morning from the bank. May as well have been a whale!
Wish there was striped bass in my area, Well there is but they're 2-3 hours away. It'd be a different fight the normal SM, LM bass, Catfish and carp.
Tim about takes a little drum tail to the faces at about the 17:50 mark lol
Haha, awesome
Have you guys thought about chasing the stripe bass at Cape Cod during the blitz? I heard it's ridiculous there.
Can you fellas do a video on how to catch bass around spillways an damns an what to look for here in Missouri a lot of our lakes besides the big ones have run over spillways didn’t know if there was any tips or tricks or if the bass use those areas a lot or not thanks fellas
Current seams and current breaks
Wow....somebody could sleep either lol.
At the rate you guys are going with the drum you should target the state record drum lol.
Tactical Drummin
Hey Matt how good is the new 8 ft xxh for swim baits? Better than let's say a dobyns champion swim bait rod?
I want to see you throw big baits for the monster Cumberland river stripers
Seems like drum are a good test on rod strength.
Are you guys just casting around the dam or at you targeting fish with mega live? I live very close to couple lakes on Savannah river chain lakes with big damns. I haven't tried fishing them yet but I know they both have monster striper
When's the video from the Amazon trip going to be released?
Drum hunters!!!
Thank you for everything ❤ . I have one question . Suspending and floating, slow sinking lure for pike need wire leader . This do some effects? How fix ? Please help 🙏
I means suspending jerk bait using wire leader . lure going sink ? How fix this ? I love pike fishing .
Dragging bottom with the swim baits? Or mid column
Are y'all fishing straight braid on these big fish? Or are you still using a leader?
2 eyes and a tail that's what matters drums are fun
Tacticaldrummin channel on the way!
Was that net really the frabill 2612? Looks deeper then 22 inches. Looking for the exact net in this video!
White bass was huge they don’t get that big n my area ussally unless that was a hybrid stripper
how deep is that damn?
That’s when I break out the UL spinning gear
Now why doesn't the water ever look like that when I go? I have a kayak- and everytime I drive all the way up to PIckwick- it's rough as hell and I can't put in. 3-4 foot chop + a cheap kayak= going for a swim, and possibly losing a bunch of gear.
Didn't look like any gates were open, no flow? Stripers gang up when there's current at the dams. Some lockmasters will run you off in Arkansas.
Midnight in cali
Are you all at Watch bar
You say dermatologist I say tactical basin Bonnie caps 🤷♂️
Would either of you throw a 7" stickbait wacky rigged on the face of the damm.. once matt mentioned current and lack of. I thought of throwing that senko
You guys are hammers, seems like you were in the same general area the whole time lol
Nightcall in USA, early morning instead of early afternoon in Europe
you guys ever keep any for dinner?
I wouldn’t eat too many fish where they are at , there are mercury warnings for fish
So…we going to start calling Tim the Drum Major? Nice video gents, we’ll done. Take care of those skin issues. Melanoma is no joke.
So if my lake has bluegill, perch, and trout as forage what color/colors burrito should I get I find their colors confusing
Mike makes a trout bacca, for blue gills burrito baits makes a bluegill or I'd get a little gill color nacho.
Your not going to boat flip??🤣🤣
5 for 50+ 😅 🥁
I can smell this video due to all the Drum
I can feel the slime
@@cazbarsaelao4663 LOL! You know they don’t have much history with Drum when they’re bringing them all on the deck?
Drum aren’t allowed n net I guess as Tim was on his own
I've had a craving for multi species but those big stripers will ruin your lures and line
Time to power wash the carpet.
You guys remind me of myself and my buddy Eric when we fish together. Just shootin the shit and netting fish for eachother!
