- Around 100 people crammed into Laidlaw’s Henderson Campus Atrium on Monday 4 April to listen to Bishop Justin Duckworth speak on the topic of “The Church in Contemporary NZ: Perspectives and Challenges”.
Brilliant!! Wonderful to hear from someone who isn't afraid to call it how it is! Speaking as an"edge" person way on the wrong side of 20. Hopefully the students that listened to this will be able to chew upon how they can meet in the middle a little more and accommodate each other without compromise and encourage and build each other up to truly make a difference in our communities!
Is it just me or is the concept of the majority of church remaining more or less the same (5 degrees renewed) pretty uninspiring?!
Love Justin Duckworth and super interested in his message here, but I guess I was hoping for better news than the church will always be more or less the same...
Is he a real Rastafarian?
