Correction and Apology for Having Trouble that Makes you confused. I Made the video 1 year ago, and I did same like Spot gold using acid test late to realize that I Used toothpaste maybe because just rushing to upload more video before , I feel sorry for didn't get accurate result Maybe I didn't follow the right step on how to test using toothpaste.
Actually I don't use toothpaste , because in Pawnshop We Use Proper way of checking Gold like Touchstone and Acid Test.
its My 1st time to try toothpaste and Just excited to share it as I thought it makes useful.
I use Acid test and touch stone method and Its Really Accurate ., I accept my fault for I misunderstood the video I watch before Because I'm just new In using toothpaste and still learning about gold (No Need to mention that channel where I watch the same as my video because Its My fault) but I guarantee that spotting fake gold using Acid Test is the only essential way and from this Mistake I Suggest Better to Visit Your Trusted Pawnshop or Trusted Appraiser to Test your jewelry also to avoid damage .

When you put Toothpaste into Real Gold Jewelry , Cotton or white cloth Must shown discoloration Like Brass.
Fake Gold shows No Reaction in toothpaste, No Discoloration in White cloth or cotton.
Again, The most essential Way on how to test real gold and fake gold is Acid test using Nitric Acid watch our other video for more details and if I am wrong again , Please Comment down below and We will appreciate you and we will correct it🥰

You are doing it wrong. Put the toothpaste on the ring and rub it on a white towel for 30 seconds, if there is some dark colour coming out on the towel, it is gold. If not, than it is fake.

Tama un din sabi ng kaibgan ko na pinag bibilhan ko ng gold dapat ung toothpaste mangingitim like grey if tunay na gold tpos. Kpag hndi gold wlang reaction sa toothpaste treny ko na din un. Sa 18k na singsing ko. At sa rose gold. Sa rose gold ala tlga reaction

My nephew has a metal detector and found a gold bangle bracelet and we thought it may be gold but we did this test and it left a dark mark on the cotton ball s it has to be brass but I tried toothpaste on my wedding rings and got a dark spot also and I know for a fact my rings are real, we bought them at Rogers Jewelry
